Rated 2 out of 5 by Needs improvment The carpet inour room was dirty with stains it didn't want me to take off my shoes. 3 light bulbs were burnt out the phone didn't work. The gym facility was out of sanitary wipes and WATER . I told this to the front desk was in the gym for 45 min. and still no one came. I left a shoe in the room and no one turned it in. July 25, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by My Experience This was one of the first times I have stayed at a Sheraton and I enjoyed it very much. The room was very spacious and was kept clean at all times. I reccomend this Hotel to everyone that stays in San Diego.... October 7, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Amenities should not be charged Internet access should be free to all guests and not just in the lobby area. At $10 per day plus $14 to park you immediately add another $24/day to your stay. Called front desk to see if they would waive internet fee twice and never got a return call. Understand they were real busy, but then where is customer service. March 19, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Trevor As soon as I walked in I greeted with the best smile. Trevor. Thats all it takes. The introduction to the hotel is what sets off the mood. Trevor was amazingly kind and quick. Thank You Trevor. The room was amazing, clean and the view from the 8th floor was beautiful. Oh yes, Trevor even asked which view I would like. February 21, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not worth the price My biggest problems were with housekeeping. Had to request additional linen each day. Room cleaning started before I checked out and items were thrown in the trash when I returned to the room. The view from the pool area was not very nice (trash storage). Some of the front desk staff didn't appear to want to be there. August 2, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Modern and well run Nicely re-done hotel in very convenient area of Mission Valley. Rooms large and comfortable with all the necessary conveniences. Only concern is that there seems to be no control in the Club Lounge. Kids and Adults running around, on the furniture. Perhaps it is better during the week. August 20, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by that's why they have lots of empty rooms A SPG platinum, I prefer starwood hotels. I stayed Sheraton Mission Valley because no other place had room at corporate rate. They lost my laundry once, forgot to clean my laundry again in 2 days. Room on the 12th floor (executive level) was smelly, breakfast in the restaurant not desirable with few choices... Rated 5 out of 5 by Great experience. Ended up booking 2 more rooms. We had such a pleasant experience that my in- laws asked us to book them a room. Trevor had the best smile and is knowledgeable about the area. Ashley and Bethany made sure they met our room needs including getting great rates for booking more rooms last minute. Facilities were clean. Solid Sheraton hotel. May 23, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Who's got quarters? Had to have them change our room at check-in when we noticed the bathroom sink was cracked and damaged, with rust stains in the bathtub. One washer and dryer available of 2nd floor, requiring $2 in quarters (for each). When I exhausted my supply of quarters, I approached the front desk and was informed that the manager was on lunch break. I was told that they had no available quarters, and that only this manager had keys to the till and wouldn't return for 45 minutes (this, while my clothes were ready for the dryer, and others were waiting). I was sent to the hotel restaurant to inquire and was also informed that they had no quarters. I, eventually, left the hotel to get more quarters, to avoid keeping others from waiting. There was no change machine, or other payment option. Incidentally, I had already used a few dozen of my own quarters prior to exhausting my supply, and had not required any change from the front desk (was the only hotel guest that morning who was washing clothes, until others arrived later). Rated 3 out of 5 by This hotel is in a good location. We booked this location because it was close to Qualcomm Stadium, but found that it was also located near resturants, shopping and the Mission Valley Trolley station. Everything was in walking distance but if needed we utilized the hotel shuttle. Mel our shuttle driver was very helpful and friendly! August 14, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by renovations make a difference i spend over 50 nights a year at this hotel, the recent renovations have made a huge difference in appeal and comfort. the best part is the lughting has improved greatly, a big peve off mine in hotels. The staff are most helpful, especially when you have a small issue. Recommend highly. December 8, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Sheraton Mission Valley Great hotel but needs improvement with the food. Food was less than adequate; however. No coffee anywheree in the hotel until 6:30 AM which was distracting for me since I wake up ealy on the West Coast for conference calls. My room was extremely nice with an upgrade to the 14th floor. Rated 5 out of 5 by My Stay 12/15-12/17/2012 I stay at The Sheraton Mission Valley about 50 nights a year. Front Desk employees Alexis, Ashley and their co workers are the reason I always stay here. Elervators were not working part of the time this weekend, but I'm sure management did the best they could to fix the problem. December 19, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Wifi Is terrible The in room wifi is slower than stealing it from a neighbor across the hall. I was unable to conduct any business in the room because the wifi kept stalling and dropping my connection. I was only trying to read and respond to emails! Even the free wifi at the airport was better. December 10, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Recently Refreshed Room The refreshed room was nicely done and a great improvement. With the refurbished room, this was a good deal for the money. I have stayed here frequently and the staff is always nice. The concierge level lounge was being refreshed too, but breakfast was available in another room. October 24, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Front Desk Staff Needs More Customer Service Training Front Desk Staff seems low-spirited and does not greet the customer. Inform me my room is not available when I checked in at about 4pm on 21-Oct. She did not even bother to check for alternative until requested to do so. Managed to found an equivalent room later and checked in. October 29, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Better than last visit I have stayed at this hotel 3 times this year, and this was the best yet. I has able to get one of the newly renovated rooms. The bed was much nicer than the last one I previously used and the room was very clean. Hopefully the elevators are updated soon, as they are very slow. September 17, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by would not stay here again carpeting and walls were very dirty. there was dirt and hair in corners in bathroom. found spiders and other bugs crawling on top of beds. front desk explained that hotel was being updated....can understand this, but should have been done sooner and still expect cleanliness. Rated 1 out of 5 by Horrible Room was not cleaned, no toilet paper, had to ask for some THREE times. Manager was very rude when we asked for service. Horrible. Our team stayed and gave $6,000 for this piece of crap only to have TERRIBLE service. I can't state strongly enough. DO NOT STAY HERE. May 26, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Location We toured the Midway, Gas Lamp and Coronado Island from the Sheraton Mission Valley. The short drive to/from was not a big deal at all. The location is good and accross the freeway a number of reputable places to have a meal. August 21, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Hotel is rundown They had has wait till 6pm for our room at check in time and we arrived at 3pm at check in time. Our room was dirty. The ice machine was broken. We had to call room service three times because no one would bring us some ice. Lots of freeway noise in the room. July 25, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Could have been better although the room was nice, they didn't have it ready for me and my family, Had to wait an hour, Then not enough towels for 4, refrigerator was not working properly, no waste baskets in the living room just one tiny one in bathroom. No free wi-fi December 31, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by the elevator does not work! the elevator seems possessed and skips floors or takes an excessive amount of time. Staff seems good but understaffed for the full house that was there when i stayed. Rooms were not clean and looked quite worn out. Not a Sheraton quality hotel. June 25, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by hotel staff very accommodating We really enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again. October 10, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Inconsistent service I have to say that I love this place. But lately, the service has been inconsistent. The associate who greeted me at the front was Zariah, and how platonic she was. She made no acknowledgement that I was a gold spg member, and offered me absolutely nothing special for my stay, When I called to ask if the hotel lobby has any outlet to charge laptop, Zariah answered the phone and didn't even bother to check. I'm sure she's busy, but isn't that what service is counted the most. When I tried to enter the room, twice I couldn't open the door. The engineer told me later that there was nothing wrong with the door. However, I was in the elevator, when another client was rushing down since his door didn't open, the same way that it happened to me. Exucse me, but if you want me to break the door to enter the room, let me know and it'd be much fun to exercise that. To make up for all that, the room was immaculate. I love it and would recommend to anyone. Just the front desk need to put a smile on their faces more often, and the service needs to be more conistent. November 20, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good nights sleep We had a good nights sleep in very pleasent surroundings ! We needed to spend the night in San Diego because of an itinary change . This hotel was a very pleasent surprise for us . It really added to our trip . Highly recommend . March 21, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good Location/ near Seaworld & Zoo This Hotel has age to it. Small bathrooms, water damage to shower ceiling causing paint to peel off. Ice machines work on some floors. Staff cordial and helpful. Bartender unfriendly and has no pesonality. Wish I got his name. August 16, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Used to have better service and room conditions They used to give better service, I had to pay for Internet acces, room had issues like the bar soap in the shower was used open package and wet, big hole in the wall, the said I rules changed and I have lost my SPG benefits August 18, 2012
