Rated 2 out of 5 by Hotel looks nice enough... Front desk clerk was very friendly. First impression of room was urine odor in bathroom. Bathrooms are very small, opening the door barely clears the toilet. Left for dinner & asked front desk to have bathroom floor mopped. 3 hrs later on return, it had not been touched. Contacted housekeeping that claimed it had been cleaned & sprayed with air freshner. How were they able to replicate items that we left on the floor? It had not been cleaned! Moving to another room was offered at almost 11pm...who wants to do that? July 15, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed by housekeeping The housekeeping was poor: the condition of the beds was unsatisfactory (the duvet cover was dirty with a broken zipper and the beds were sloppily/poorly made; also, when i went to straighten the bed after sleeping in it i found the mattress had no actual mattress cover, just a folded up and poorly placed bed sheet which was sitting atop a stained mattress); there was no shampoo or conditioner in the bathroom so when we went to wash up in a rush we had to stop what we were doing to call the front desk and request some, they did get it to us quickly; the curtain rod was about to pop out of the wall; the bathroom sink had nasty mold growing under the rim; the chairs in the room had dirty stains. Oh and as you walked down the hall to the room, you could smell mold quite definitively. December 9, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Can't believe this is a convention hotel I was extremely disappointed in the hotel as a convention hotel. Our room was not ready until after 7:30 p.m. We ate in the restaurant for lunch one day. The restaurant was horribly understaffed. My friend and I ordered at the same time. However, her lunch took 45 minutes longer to be delivered to our table. We missed a session at our conference because lunch took almost 2 hours. As a convention hotel, I would expect a much higher level of preparedness. February 13, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hotel Night Manager William... My wife and I travelled from Ottawa, Canada to Dallas to see our first ever Cowboys game on Thanksgiving. We had booked a different hotel online, site-unseen, and were fooled upon our arrival to that spot. The initial hotel that we booked was dirty, filthy and run-down. I searched multiple hotels in the area and finally fell upon the Sheraton. William greeted my exhausted wife and myself with open arms and a huge smile. He offered us a room (Thanksgiving week), and stated that he would make our stay worthwhile. He suggested restaurants, provided shopping directions, and we were over-joyed when we woke up on game day to find that the stadium was within walking distance. Thank you William for making our first vist to Dallas a historic one for this lifetime Cowboys fan!!! We will be back next year. December 3, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed We paid extra for the club level. The mattress in our room needs replacement badly! Every time one of us would turn over the other person was almost seasick! Worse than being on a waterbed the spings are so shot! No bathrobes in our room, the side light by the bed did not work. Made me question what else could be wrong. No one explained that the club level was on floor 18. We were on 17 when we paid for club level so we walked all of 17 looking for it. Had to go back downstairs to ask. The card key kept not wanting to work in the elevator. So not worth the money we paid. Worse night sleep I've ever had at a hotel. Won't be back. The gentleman at the front - no smile, no warmness - looked mad. Staff needs retraining on customer service. Was a milestone celebration that turned out badly. April 28, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Staff issues Staff was unfriendly and not very helpful. When I went to the restaurant they acted as though I was bothering them from their other duties. They didn't seem to be concerned when we had other needs like the internet kept floating in and out. I love Starwood and have never had service like this in any of the hotels I have stayed in... I am still a starwood fan but when in Arlington will stay at a different location February 20, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by This hotel needs updating The hotel seems to be a bit outdated. The walls need a new coat of paint and the room decor needs updating. The shower was stained and there was hardly any room in the bathroom to move around. The marketplace needs healthier food options to make it easy when you are on the go. March 17, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Needs some work We stay here because it is within walking distance of the ballpark. However, the hotel is in need of some work. There was black mold growing in our bathroom in several places. It looks as if the A/C has been leaking. Also the ceiling in the room has damage from leaking. The hallway carpets were very dirty and as soon as we got off the elevator it smelled bad. The staff is great and the food is great and it is nice to be able to walk to games, but they need to do some repairs and cleaning. July 25, 2013

It was easy to see that the staff enjoyed doing their jobs. They treated you as if they had been your friend for years. March 17, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by not the usual standard Our focus was to find a hotel near the attractions we came for. We've always trusted any SPG hotel..however this location disappointed our expectations. We felt that because it held a Sheraton name, it didn't hold true this time when it comes to it's standard. We stayed executive level and breakfast was below expectations with little fresh fruit, and stale bagels. The hotel was loud and untidy in the reception area. With all the negatives, staff was friendly and listened to our concerns. Whether or not they will address the issues is another matter. Overall, our stay met our need for location. But that's it. If we had known about everything else, we could've stayed at another hotel and paid less. At least we would've had lower expectations instead of expecting the best which normally comes with a Sheraton name. March 31, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Holiday getaway Our stay at this Sheraton was a last minute ideal to get away. We could not have been more pleased with the hotel and our stay. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and the amenities are great!. The restaurants, gorgeous pool area, fitness center, and extremely courteous staff made this a great stay. We had a city view room which provided beautiful views of Washington D.C. especially at night. It is also very close to so many attractions and the national mall. November 30, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice hotel but needs a management rework My reservation got downgraded initially for the same price without my consent or knowledge. It took me over an hour on hold, a facebook message, and several emails to just get the room I had booked in April at the price I booked it at. I was never able to talk to the same person twice, and it seemed that each new person was completely uninformed of any of my previous interactions. The hotel itself was beautiful, but our tv kept switching in and out of analog/digital, and the internet was slow in addition to being over priced. The front desk and cleaning staff were polite and professional. All in all, it was such a hassle working with Sheraton, and they really did nothing to compensate their repeated mistakes, that although my stay when at the hotel was decent, I would still choose other options whenever possible. Rated 1 out of 5 by Very disappointing stay I used SPG points and upgraded suite nights and I’m very sorry that I put my family on this Hotel. • Hallways were dirty and old. Elevators very dirty and slow. • Got two Jr suites and the first one the pull up bed was so bad that I requested a room change • The shower was horrible. The water would get really hot, then really cold then really hot again all on its own. • The rooms were trashed, furniture on the Jr suite dirty and old, I was afraid to use them. Badly chipped furniture and with food crumbs. TV very bad with lines all over. • no outlets by the bed • Very poor concierge suite, coffee was cold, when asked the lady for more coffee she said I know and continue playing on the computer. Frozen cold bagels. No cups for juices on both days. Over price restaurant for small salads • Will not stay there ever again July 29, 2013

Only negative was the waiting time on hold when trying to get a shuttle back from dinner on sunday night. Was put on hold and never picked up after 3 minutes. I hung up and we walked back. Rated 3 out of 5 by I was disappointed Problems during my stay included: My room was two doors away from the elevator and I heard it running constantly; I called room service to have dinner after a long day of meetings but they never answered the phone; I called guest services the next morning for help with my luggage but they never answered either; there was a portion of an old bar of soap left under the sink telling me the room wasn't cleaned properly; the hand rail in the bathroom wasn't cleaned at all. Rated 2 out of 5 by Not the place to come for good customer service During our four night stay in a junior suite on the club level, we were met with frustrations constantly. Check in was 2 1/2 hours late. Club Level entitled us to the Club Lounge for breakfast, hors d'ouveres and drinks. We encountered many times not enough food and drinks. The staff was rude and said they were out of food and would not be ordering more to be sent upstairs to the Club Lounge. It was a big waste of money to opt for the Club Level. Never once during our issues did I hear an employee apologize for any problem. The room was nice and big. Cleaning service offers green choice by putting what towels you want replaced on the ground. Doesn't matter because they took the ones hanging, too. The water in the shower changed temperatures from cold to hot during each shower and the faucet for water is on the outside of the shower!!! Rated 3 out of 5 by Housekeeping walked in at 8:27 a.m. The hotel is dated....but it is clean and the staff was friendly. My only disappointment was the persistent tapping at the door (with the edge of the door key) at 8:27 a,.m.. I got up to go to the door, thinking the place was on fire, and the door opened!!!!!! She looked at me and said, 'housekeeping' ....really at 8:30 in the morning on summer vacation? I had teenagers with me and they were still asleep.....I was shocked and disappointed. August 17, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Very Tired bathroom! Bathroom in this room (1921) is very tired. Soap dish was broken off the wall. Tub was chipped in no less than 6 places. Caulking around where the tile meets the tub looks like a 4th grader did it. Chome pipes that support the bathroom countertop were stained and dusty. The room did not have an information packet in it that provided room service menu. We mentioned this to Housekeeping and they offered to fix it on the spot. We deferered . October 3, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointing The front desk person was not very friendly. I walked up to counter, another customer patron arrived same time as I did. I let the other patron go ahead of me. (all he needed was monetary change) After she takes care of him, she looks at me and just stares at me. I finally say to her "hello" it was a awkward feeling just standing there looking at her. She made me feel like I was bothering her. The a/c in my room did not work very well. May 20, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Problems with checkout While my stay was otherwise ok, the checkout process was very bad. I checked out at 11:15 am when it was not busy, and there was only one person there to help. The lady before me had trouble in getting checked out and I had the same problem. He seemed very slow with the procedures and in both cases said he had to go upstairs and talk to someone in management about some problem. It was very strange. One of the worst checkouts ever! Rated 4 out of 5 Nice hotel, but check out could be better I stay at this hotel once a year for business and I really like the hotel. The rooms are nice, the fitness center and pool are great and its very close to my office in Arlington. My check out experience for my most recent stay was not the best, however. Generally I don't check out at the front desk if I am provided a copy of my bill my last night in the hotel. This did not happen and I need a receipt to file my travel expenses upon return to my office, so I had to go to the front desk to check out. I waited for 25 minutes because only one person was working the front counter. Luckily I didn't have to catch a flight, but I was late for a meeting. Because the reservations were made by our travel agent, I couldn't leave and hope that the invoice would be emailed to me. Ensuring that statements are distributed the night before departure would be helpful! July 23, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by This hotel needs a major overhaul First - staff service and food were excellent. Not so much the hotel itself. The carpet and chairs in my room all had large stains. The air conditioning unit over the shower was leaking when I checked in - thankfully that stopped soon. The faucet for the shower was ready to fall off. Took a long time to get hot water and the pillows on the bed (4 of them) had absolutely no firmness to them - it was very hard for me to sleep. October 24, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Friendly staff, comfortable room The bellman was wonderful and made us feel welcome - left us with a great first impression (we arrived 5/16/12 around 4:30 PM - I wish I could remember his name). The luxury of morning coffee and a bite to eat, and winding down at the end of the day with a glass of wine in Club 1801 was a special treat made even better by Carla, who served us in the evening. Had a delicious hamburger in the bar, but otherwise, no "warm fuzzies". May 24, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by convenenient location the location for attending sporting events nearby is excellent; however, the promised shuttle service from and to the airport never materialized - the hotel phone number went unanwered for 20 minutes while we called for a shuttle from the airport, so we had to take a taxi; when we wanted to return to the airport, we were told the shuttle was full and we'd have to take another taxi - needless expense, which was very diasappointing September 10, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Guest Services Need Improving Although the bed was very comfortable, the overall service was not. After 11PM on a Friday and even through Saturday mid day, housekeeping nor the front desk was available for service. We requested towels at 1030p on Friday and didnt receive them until Saturday 830AM after another 5th request. The front desk stopped answering calls after 11P on a Friday and the '0' went the hotel's recorded voicemails multiple times. March 18, 2013
