We have stayed at this hotel every year for the last 3 years as we drive to and from the midwest to Phoenix. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful. The room is ALWAYS ready and clean and nicely appointed. The service is ALWAYS wonderful. There are a great many hotels in this area to choose from and we will always stay at this hotel for all the reasons above.

The Uptown Sheraton Alb never disappoints when it comes to the comfort of the rooms and professionalism of the staff. Swim pool area lacks: High ceiling causes sound to amplify (kids shrieks & whatnot); be nice to have a more private adult area for jacuzzi.

Management/employees are very pleasant and helpful. Lounge is a great place to relax over conversation and food is great. Like what they did with the outside seating. Our dog loves the hotel too.

My business appointments are located throughout the city and I find that this hotel is ideally located which enables me to drive within the city without difficulty; I am able to utilize the main thoroughfares leading to and from the hotel with ease. The rooms are spacious and the the club offers just the right combination of light meals for my dietary needs.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The location was great for walking to shops and restaurants. The staff is fantastic and they made us feel very welcome and they especially made our dog feel very welcome with lots of treats! We would look forward to staying here again when our travels bring us to Albuquerque.

Staff was friendly, but I had a hard time getting my A/C fixed. It's Albuquerque in the summer. You'd think they would be more responsive. After a day and a half and three requests, they finally just switched my room.
Spelled "congratulations" wrong on the front marquee for the poor couple getting married there. It will make for a memorable album photo.

On my third day, my room was not cleaned and made up. I did not have the "do not clean for reward sign" on the door.
The "pet friendly" policy is totally unsatisfactory to me. I do NOT want to stay in a room where animals have stayed previously. If you have a pet policy, the rooms should be limited to a certain floor. No pet rooms should be available.

This is a good hotel, and the staff was welcoming. But there was no Kleenex when we arrived and although we called the desk, it was never delivered. The fan was blowing on and off most of the night waking us up with cold air, until we finally discovered we could turn the power OFF.

The hotel was very nice and comfortable as you would expect from Sheraton. Located close to many dining and shopping options.
My only negative was the recognition for SPG Gold Elite was less than appreciative as compared to a stay at another SPG hotel 2 days before. They provided a treat but almost as an aside. Still the staff were very friendly.

From the moment we walked in to the moment we left everyone was so very kind and helpful - making eye contact and smiling and asking if we needed anything - the employees expressed what a great place this hotel was to work for WOW! The rooms were comfortable and we had a great view of the mountain - the price was right and the place was great

Three examples of why we continue to use this facility:
1) On our recent choir tour, I had ridden on a bus for five hours with twenty-five students, performed a dress rehearsal, and hurriedly scarfed down dinner when we arrived for check-in. Check-in was smooth and planned for, keys were ready, and ERIN (?) treated my wife and I to "prepping our room" and bringing our luggage up. It made us feel very welcome and let us breathe deeply for the first time all day;
2) Richard Manis, Night Operations Manager, made arrangements for local travel with the new (and slick) Mercedes Van for me, my wife, and several students. He was very accommodating and incredibly generous with his time;
3) Lauren Nelson fielded numerous calls from me to plan every detail of our stay (eight rooms) for three nights! Thanks for never tiring of answering my questions;
4) Perfect location in ABQ--near Coronado Mall, Uptown, easily within driving distance to anything else of interest.

The manager went out of his way to make our meeting and stay great. When my rental car would not start and it was impossible to get to the airport on time, he arranged for a van to get me there.
He put forth the most sincere effort I have experienced in my frequent travels. Congrats to him and his staff for an exceptional travel experience.

Staff was very nice. I called ahead to see what arrangements we could make for my sister who must sleep in an elevated position due to health issues. Upon arrival we found the staff had purchased two large wedge cushions for her bed. It worked great and provided a comfortable alternative. The room was nice and clean...loved the bed linens.

I was unhappy with how there was no maid service in the room at all when I chose no need to change linens. Even though I choose to reuse my towels and say no need to change bed linens, there still should be maid service that at least makes up the bed and empties the trash can. I was disappointed to see that no one comes in the room at all.

Hotel very clean, up to the Starwood standards that I expect. Upon check in, staff organized and quick, did miss coding our room key to the lounge floor - not a big deal. Room was awesome, wife enjoyed the jacuzzi, short drive to airport. Will stay again

This hotel has sustained a high standard of service, quality and cleanliness for me over a number of years. The flexibility, thoughtfulness and professionalism of the Reception team continues to be the key to resolving issues and making the stay as easy as possible.
The location is ideal for access to local facilities and main highways.

This is a "full service" hotel so internet access is an extra $10 a day. There are no laundry facilities on the property. Both of these should be standard in a hotel in 2013. For the price of the room, a small fridge and/or microwave should also be available.
Great price for the location. Staff is very professional and courteous.

We spoke with the desk when we left, but the sheets were so uncomfortable that we awoke several times during the night. They would not stay on the mattress on the edges and we were constantly on bare mattress. Everything else in the room was fine, but when one does not sleep well due to the bed, the experience is a negative one.

Nice hotel, problems were poor communication upon check-in we missed our included club breakfast because they failed to inform us of the details. However; they issued vouchers for the grill so they made it right quickly without argument.
Bed was very hard, got poor sleep but otherwise the rest of the amenities were excellent.

Second stay, since the remodel, this time in a standard king. Our request for a quiet room away from the elevators was honored, at check-in. Had dinner and drinks at the bar, server was prompt and friendly. Water pressure good, plenty of hot water in the morning. Front parking lot filled up quickly with conference attendees.

This was a business conference at the hotel. The staff were helpful, and the room was large and big. The room was even dark at night! The only problem I had was that the Wi-Fi was not working very well. It took almost an hour for the Wi-Fi to synch with my computer in my room. The Wi-Fi in the conference room was fine.

I recommend cleaning the carpets in the Sheraton Uptown Albuquerque hotel. The carpets are filthy on the elevator and they are extremely filthy in the rooms. The first room 321 was disgusting and then I was moved to room 706 and the carpet was a little cleaner. I would not recommend walking on this carpet bare footed.

Overall it was comfortable and the staff were very attentive & pleasant. With the exception of the receptionist that checked me in. He asked how my trip was from my place of residence which is in New Mexico. He went on to tell me a derogatory joke about where I live. He thought it was funny but I took it as an insult.

Superbly renovated and refurbished Sheraton in Uptown with very large Club with nice views and magazines. Good selection of food in the Club. The only issue we had was that the previous guest must have smoked in the room. We were promptly given a different room. The alcoholic drinks in the Club are rather pricey, too.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and efficient throughout the hotel from the front desk, restaurant, bar, and to housekeeping. After a long day traveling by car, the exercise room with its modern equipment gave us a way to relax and unwind. A nightcap in the bar before going to bed topped the day off very nicely.

Love the location of this hotel. Our room was nice and clean. Check in was easy. We had a problem with the heating/air conditioning.
The vent or grill for the h/a is high on the wall and it blows right across your head. It turns off and on frequently so you can't escape.
A bad nites sleep makes for an unhappy person.

Everything when very well.
The staff was what you want to encounter after a long day of travel. In our case, 700 plus miles of driving.
They met our needs and offered an upgrade without us requesting it. Our goal was to get a great nights sleep to continue our travels the next day.
All our expectations were met.
