staff is nice, quick check in. platinum guest get amenities and buffet breakfast with decent selection. very close to the airport, shuttle is available.

My room was very big and the bed was extremely comfortable. The room was equipped with two large flat screen televisions, a small fridge and microwave.

Excellent value for the size of the room received. I was in town for a quick weekend. Food from room service was great and you cant beat the location.

We had experienced travel delays and were tired and cranky. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The shuttle service was particularly great.

All was great here. Only negative comment was there were 2 out of 4 elevators under repair and there was a bit of a wait to catch one. Lovely suite.

I normally enjoy my stays at Starwood Hotels, but I can say that I will NOT be staying at the Sheraton on W. Cypress in Tampa, FL ever again. I entered the Executive Suite to find that none of the light switches worked because no one took the time to turn the light on that connected to the switch. Walking into the bedroom there was no light switch. Once I was able to light the room I found hair, and lots of it all over the sheets. There were several lengths which gave me the feel that the room had been used "at the hourly rate" (if you know what I mean). Housekeeping was prompt to come and change the sheets. I entered the shower to find that the faucet accents were falling off the wall and all the vents were filled with dust. Disqusting! Now to using the sink... The sink stopper was left in the down position and had broken. There was no way to unstop the sink. I had to use the room key to pry the drain open. After explaining all of this to the attendant I was offered no compensation for the horrible room I was given. I guess I need to get wild and act out to be treated like a loyal customer. Never again... The restaurant was good though.

Stay here often. Love the hotel. Staff are excellent and pay special attn to our dog as well. Dog gets excited when we pull into the parking lot.

I was disappointed that towels were not replaced when the room was made up. In addition, trash cans were not emptied. Only the beds were made.

I truly enjoyed my complimentary water bottle Saturday night, and when I and my wife used the additional two bottles in the suite work area Sunday morning – noticing that the tags on them did NOT mention anything about their not being complimentary – we felt it was part of the service. Now that you’ve charged me more than four times the normal retail price for those drinks, our shared opinion is not as “complimentary” to the Sheraton brand as before. Also, considering the drink prices you charged in the lounges during the event we attended, the very least you could have done was include limes with those drinks that traditionally call for lime accents. We are local folks and know full well that although that fruit was in short supply for a time, that substantial local supplies were easily found all last week and through this past weekend as well. Two limes for a buck equals at least eight garnishes. Don’t tell me that would have been a drastic hit on Sheraton’s bottom line, especially when you’re getting at least $9 for a mixed drink and $4 for a $.99 bottle of water. One of your bars had limes, but another said they weren’t available. So much, again, for Sheraton’s version of credibility.

We stayed at this facility for the Yankees Fantasy Camp. We were told by multiple employees that this was by far the busiest week all year for them. Unfortunately they decided that this would be an appropriate week to rebuild their elevator and thus 2 of their 4 elevators were out of commision for the week. This led to EXTREME wait times for the elevators. This would not have been such an issue if their stairway system could be accessed from the outside but it could not so you could not use it to go up stairs. Also the wait time in the eating area was excessive due to them not appropriately staffing for the work load. When we brought this to a servers attention she proclaimed that this happened every year and the management refused to add additional staff for the increased work load. I assume this must also be the case with housekeeping as we came back to the room on multiple days after 4 pm and our room had not been cleaned. One day they ran out of clean towels. The management at this facility needs to be seriously looked at. I have not stayed at a Sheraton before but after this experience I would have second thoughts about using another Sheraton facility.
