I am a Gold for Life SPG member and stayed at this Sheraton for two nights. We had breakfast our first morning and it was terrible. We ordered waffles and eggs. The waffles were severely under cooked and we asked for real maple syrup, but received corn syrup instead, no maple syrup available we were told after ordering.
The eggs had a plastic flavor. We complained about the disgusting breakfast and only received an apology, no refund.

I was in town for an eight day business training with my company at their office. My room was clean and comfortable. The room had nice amenities like a frigde, microwave, safe, coffee maker, ect... Some hotels have a cheap shower but this one was great!

This hotel is okay. Slightly dated but clean. There is no club lounge which was a bummer but they did offer breakfast in the restaurant. Breakfast was also just ok; I've had better at other Sheratons.
What I was really unhappy about was the amount of noise from the highway adjacent to the hotel. I was on a higher floor and was constantly woken up by the noise outside my window. Perhaps they need to upgrade to be more soundproof.
It was close to the airport and had free parking, which was a plus.

I always stay at SPG hotels because I expect them to be clean, somewhat current or renovated, and great service. Unfortunately I did not find that at this location. The hotel is very dated. My room felt very old. I used the fitness center during my stay and it was nice but very cold! When I'm at the gym- I want to sweat! I'm not even expecting it to be hot but 65 degrees is too cold for a gym. I called the front desk one night to request a plate to be brought to my room- I was already in my pajamas and didn't want to leave... They told me there would be a delivery fee (REALLY!?) and I said okay. Then they said I'd better walk down to the bar and get it myself to avoid having to wait too long. Gee- thanks so much!

This is an excellent example of how a great Sheraton Suite Hotel. Well done.
It is freshly renovated and it was an excellent job. Staff are very friendly and helpful. When I checked in, front desk staff, Clark, was so gracious and make my stay to be a wonderful experience.
Hate to say this but I was at Tampa for conference and stayed at another downtown SPG hotel. I decided to move to this hotel as that hotel did not age well and not well maintained either.
Valet parking is also expensive.

We've been staying here for years! Worst customer service ever! We are never acknowledge when we check in or out! They don't care if you are a SPG member! We AlWAYS seem to have an issue here! We come to Tampa from Sarasota for a little stress relieve and if anything checking in here gives us stress every time!!
After our stay this time we said "we are done staying here!" there are way too many other places we can stay at right near here!
Horrible Staff!!! Horrible management!!
The best people here are the people who drive the transport vans! We will miss them!

No met my expectations i have a problem with the food one hour for a quesadilla and wins and then cold . The menu online is different of the restaurant my wife she saw the calamari and shrimp online and in the restaurant is a different menu

While the hotel is in an excellent location, it's tired. The rooms are suites, which is amazing. I was facing the highway and thought the noise would be crazy but it was not. My fridge did not get cold enough for me. The bathrooms are very tight and need more places to hang towels. The atrium needs serious attention, especially the foliage. It's covered with disease. Better training for front desk staff is a must.

Started my visit with shaved private parts hair in the sink, staff said "what do you want me to do about it".
music / band playing on a Wednesday night until 11:00 pm, staff said "quiet time is until 11:00pm and laughed! children running up and down the halls all night long. I would recommend avoiding this place if you want rest! or Pease and quiet!

This hotel needs to upgrade the room ventilation and the bath room was so small, you could barely get one person in it at a time. the humidity was so bad you could only stay in the room for brief amount of time.

We always have exceptional service at Sheraton Hotels but our recent stay at
Tampa exceeded our expectations when they paid for our taxi to take us to the airport for a very early morning flight. You know at Sheraton that they truly do treat you as a special guest!

I attempted to extend my stay prior to arrival and it took 5 phone calls and incorrect information from desk clerks. The room was not serviced till 9 p.m. and it took a visit to front desk supervisor. He could not explain why, "that's housekeeping department".
The bar does not open till 3 p.m. and I was told the hotel was full. ??

The shuttle charged $10 per person each way to the arena.($20 for me and spouse) A taxi was $14 for the same ride. Also, no shuttle available after the game. Very disappointing aspect to an otherwise very nice stay

Had a wonderful stay at this property. Relatively cheap for Tampa and great to escape for the weekend and check out Busch Gardens or drive out to Clearwater Beach for a day. Staff was really helpful and kind. Would definitely stay here again. Not luxury accommodation, but for a quick trip to visit Busch Gardens it was as comfortable as a Sheraton Suites can be.

Stayed here for 2 nights in Mar 2015. I regret using my points for the stay but am thankful I didn't pay anything to stay here.
From the outside, this looks promising. The lobby area and walk way to the rooms is great but that's all you get.
When checking in, I had requested a crib for our 4 mth old daughter. I was told they'd have maintenance or housekeeping contact me. Never did. Strike number 1.
Upon getting to our room, the air conditioner would not cool down below 73. Seeing as I was waiting to hear from maintenance, I didn't bother to call down for this. Strike 2.
After our first night, we woke up to a leak in the bathroom from the floor above us. We called and they actually came to fix this right away.
Then came to shower. That was fun. Turned on the water and the only option was blistering hot. Great. So when we left around 11, I asked the front desk to have someone fix it and they said it would be taken care of before we returned. I was also promised 1000 extra points in my account for the inconvenience (still don't have them).
We get back around 4pm and shower still doesn't work. My wife calls desk and they say they'll send someone right away. 2 hours passes and they still have not come. She went to the desk and complained again (I wouldn't have been nice had I gone). Finally someone came and fixed the temperature valve on the shower.
Just disgusted at the poor level of service. All staff were more concerned about being on their cell phones or taking to other staff then helping the people staying at the hotel. I definitely would never stay here again and wondering if I should look to another chain for our trips

OVERALL IMPRESSION: First impressions count and all of my interactions with staff from the very beginning were extremely positive. When I called from the airport for the on-demand shuttle, the receptionist gave clear and detailed instructions then made a follow-up call to make sure I had located the shuttle. The driver offered a virtual briefing on the hotel facilities, the nearby area and Tampa in general. The clerk at check-in could be the brand ambassador for how well he complied with all of Sheraton’s touch-points.
SPG RECOGNITION: Excellent. Upgrade to a top-floor suite. Beautiful fruit and cheese platter and a top-grade Chardonnay as in-room amenity. Platinum amenity breakfast is full-buffet in the atrium restaurant.
THE ROOM: Spacious two-room suite with kitchen corner. Newly-decorated. Definitely meets all four-star criteria.
LOCATION: Within a couple of minutes drive from TPA.
EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS: I was expecting a run-of-the-mill airport property but was pleasantly surprised to find a full-service hotel of the atrium style.
DID NOT MEET EXPECTATIONS: Every Sheraton should be made to comply with the brand standard of possessing a Sheraton Lounge.
ONE THING TO KNOW: For a brief visit, you probably don’t need to bother with a rental car as there are two on-demand shuttles that not only serve the airport but a three-mile radius which includes two malls and plenty of dining options (although not downtown Tampa which is six miles away).

The hotel is convenient to the airport and the onsite restaurant is reasonably priced with a good variety of dishes. Our suite was large with a separate living area, Two major shopping centres are within walking distance although the hotel also provides free shuttle service to these.

We checked into our room and our toilet would not flush. We called the maintenance staff and an attendant came to the room and looked at the toilet. His answer to the problem was, after you flush the toilet, lift and then jiggle the handle? Rather than repairing the toilet so it worked properly, he told us to "jiggle the handle"! This was inappropriate.
The noise in the halls late at night and early morning was not appropriate with kids playing outside in the hallway making too much noise where the television in the room could not be heard.

This place is dirty! The staff didn't even acknowledge my gold status and offer anything. No one cares in this property...it's a shame as they use the Sheraton name but do not live up to spg standards at all.

We enjoyed the stay. Hotel was somewhat elegant with valet parking and a good staff. Hotel had a nice reasonably priced restaurant and computers for guests. Also had a cardio workout room. Room was a large suite with a door to separate the living room from the bedroom. TV in each room. Picture quality on TVs was terrible! Channel selection was terrible. No DVD player option in room or at the hotel at all, i.e., no movies! Huge demerits for this!! Starbucks in room was great. Bottled water in room a nice touch (but they charge for the water on the way out). Shower was very comfortable, but no fan in bathroom. Overall a good 3 night stay...but I like to watch a movie at the end of the day and it was not happening at this hotel. Bottom line: if you don't care about TV or movies this is a nice place to stay.

We stay at this Hotel SEVERAL times a year. It is right in the middle of where we do things. It has always been clean . . roomy . . staff very nice and informative . . it was re-done a few years back so it looks very nice and the rooms are great. We always stay in the Executive Deluxe Room with the wooden floors. It is very roomy . . two TV's when you have the children, which is great! It doesn't have a Free breakfast like many of the places we stay. It would be a GREAT things for them to add. It would make it perfect then!! And the internet is not always fantastic. It's in and out . . but mostly in. But we don't even consider another place when we are in Tampa. It's ALWAYS THIS Hotel. We know you would love it!!!

This hotel provided solid comfort at a reasonable rate. Accommodations were superb. Breakfast buffet was great with plenty of good variety food well prepared. Bed was spacious and comfortable and very quiet. Bathroom was comfortable and shower was more than adequate. We will probably use again in the future.

got to the hotel late that evening. We were very tired. After a great meal in the restaurant, we went to our room to relax and ended up asleep. the room was nicely appointed. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Members of my party were particular about the location of the room. I changed twice at check in. I felt bad about the changes but the clerk was outstanding in his efforts to accommodate me and was always courteous. He understands customer service.
