Perhaps it was because this was my first time to visit Canada but the food quality lacked luster and I received better service from the back of the house gentleman who brought me my daily bottled water than from the restaurant waiters and front desk team.

We had a great time at The Sheraton on the week end. Fabulous location for enjoying downtown Montreal! Beautiful fitness facility and pool area. My children loved the pool!!

It is a good hotel with a very bad restaurant. The menu is awful and your staff knows it. I asked about one sandwich and was told that it was soggy, iasked about the french onion soup and i was told that it was OK. It was barely OK

Very nice hotel right downtown great location good service. Not the greatest SPG platinum recognition. Like I have said in previous post not a big fan of really big hotels. But overall great service good location.

It's not a flashy hotel, but it has everything you might want in a three-night stay. It's a bit plain, I saw a few minor signs of wear and tear in the gym, but it was great for the price.
Room service breakfast was excellent. Club breakfast was decent. Staff was polite and cheerful. Location is convenient, but not very scenic.
I'm sure there are better places to stay in Montreal. But I'm also sure they're 100-200 extra dollars a night. You decide what you want to spend your money on.

Very good hotel that meets and exceeds expectations. Just don't check in when it's busy as staff are brisk and forgetful, have a drink in the bar and watch the line up go down... Then check in as there more attentive.
Valet is horrible, it's outsourced so they could care less. Waited next to the car for 15 min before being served, had to walk in and ask they guy behind the desk and even he didn't seem to know what he's doing, even when speaking french (yes I want to park my car and yes I want YOU to do it) .
Real sheraton staff are very present in both languages but you will get further in French.

This is a good hotel but the doormen have been here for a long time and there valet service is not that good.
The location of the hotel is right in the heart of Montreal. I am not a fan of these big hotels but the locations makes up for it.

The hotel is really good. The valet parking is horrible. I have waited as long as one hour for my car and it is a continuing problem in that no one seems interested in fixing this. I have discussed, complained, and all to no avail.
Stay at the hotel, park your own car.

room looked renovated since last visit,.. modern, sleek,.. bed, as always, is "perfect !
all great except TV reception was "iffy",.. movie selection "limited",... and due to holiday season, rooftop bar was occupied,..
staff is great,...even had Christmas carolers !!!

Just after I had reserved my room in the hotel I received an email advising that for $30 I could upgrade to a Club room and have the use of the business club room which I have enjoyed on previous trips - On arrival there was a note in the room indicating that the club room was booked for a private function and was unavailable - if I had known that in advance I would not have paid for the upgrade. The front desk declined to refund me.

avoid breakfast at this hotel. It was awful. $19.95 for cold food that for the most part seems to come from a buffet in the kitchen. Unacceptable- especillay at that price.

Checked in around 4pm. The agent was very pleasant by asking about my personal request to put me as high as possible. I was offered SPG floor with a nice of Montreal. Rooms are renovated and really nice, clean and fresh looking.

I stay in Sheraton hotels fairly frequently and I usually have no problems. When I arrived on Super Bowl Sunday approx 5 pm I had 2 rooms and only one was ready. I used my upgrades for suites and they said to come back. I returned in an hour and it still wasn't ready and they said they were cleaning it right away. I was then given another room which was sub standard and said I will wait for the room they promised so finally after the Super Bowl they had my room ready. Approx 10 pm. I was not happy.

Our stay was just ok nothing special, woke up several times due noises in hall every time someone going back to room, bell noise from elevator kinda annoying, pool seemed to close early but opened after we called down, will probably stay again because it is close to where we enjoy to spend time while in Montreal and we do not like to drive about once we are settle...thnks

I have been a SPG member for many years. I am generaly happy with the service and hotel stays. I am not happy with the consistent poor wireless connections in several of your hotels. Please invest in better wireless connection service as the business traveller is demanding it!!! Also, checking into Queen West is a terrible set up which drives lineups, and lack of view to assess your wait time.

I have stayed here many times. It is my go to hotel in Montreal but sometimes I wonder...
There was a problem with the elevators and it was tedious to get up and down so I had a couple of items I thought I'd leave with the concierge. I said the reason I was there is the elevators are slow and he said there is a charge of $6 to leave something. I thought it odd as I was still in my room do another night and for a company like Sheraton to do this after offering free internet and computers downstairs it was more strange.
Maybe try another spot in future.

I had previously commented that I am a light sleeper and need a quiet room so was surprised when I was put into a room (3621) directly under the ventilation system. I didn't sleep at all on Oct 29 and although moved to a quieter room ( 3416) for the night of the 30th, didn't like the incovenience.

I think the staff should be more aware of Platinum benefits. Further the lady at check in did not understand the entire program and I considered her quite abrupt. I have stayed at a lot of hoitels around the world, including the sheraton centre montreal. This was the least enjoyment I have ever been subjected to thus far.

I was quite annoyed that a hotel, who's livelihood depends on tourism & hospitality, had most of its signage in French. I can speak French but out of principle, I refuse to speak French, I found that most of the signage & notes left in the hotel room were only in French. This is very typical arrogant French attitude that they are known for but are all hoping to have it dispelled soon enuff!

The room was really nice. It was clean, and the bed was comfortable, but there were some problems. The WiFi cost a lot of money, which I was not expecting, and since I was in another country and looking forward to communicating through emails with my family back home, it was a bit inconvenient. They have free WiFi in the lobby, but it was so slow it barely sent out my emails. When I finally did break down and get the WiFi one day, I spent most of my time on it trying to fight to get it to work.
Since I had no WiFi, I decided to watch TV when I was in the room, since there was not much else to do. At first it was fine, but then my tv started random switching channels and inputs every once and a while, making watching one tv show all the way through a little tough.
And finally the AC in my room stopped working. I wasnt that hot out, but I put the AC on when I sleep, and it worked fine until one night when it broke. I was unable to sleep as it started getting hot in my room. I called down to the desk at 3am to have it fixed. They sent someone right away who fixed it, and I was able to go to sleep, but when I woke up, the AC was off again, and would not turn on. I was able to get it to work, by observing the worker, and repeating what he did, but it was short lived again. On my check out day it broke again, and I just left it since I was leaving.
Everything else about the stay was wonderful, and the area around the hotel is very nice. These three things were my only real problems, and they may all sound nit picky, but the room was expensive, and I expect more from a hotel this nice.

Bathroom has no ventilation. I banged my elbow off the bathroom door a few times as it blocks the way into the bathroom - get a sliding door.
It was also cramped in the room as I had to shuffle furniture to get at the window coverings.
I am also quite sure I forgot my laptop in the room and the staff did not find it - strange.

No response to my email & letter 3 weeks ago to general manager re unsatisfactory stay at the hotel June 29-July1. Assured club floor room & did not get it. Air condi-
tioning unit too loud preventing guest a good night sleep. Breakfast items at club lounge ran out fast and not replenished.

Checked in a 1:00am. Toilet flusher was broken. Toilet had someone's deposit in the bowl. Shower was covered in hair. Called downstairs to book a repair and cleaning. No willingness to move me or compensate for mess.

FIrst Sheraton/Westin in a long while that hasn't really met expectations.
1] When registering I was asked about Green choices, and opted in. Despite this, the next morning housecleaning showed up bright and early at my door - apparently message didn't get through. I then had to argue with guy at desk at check out for my measly 500 points.
2] I opt for green choices but do need refreshed in room coffee packets - I had to call and they delivered - just one.....
3] WIthout warning the Club Salon was closed to the public one night - private function. No drinks or hors d'oeuvres - again, petty but .....
4] No hot water in BR sink tap (or at least after running for 5 minutes there was still no hot water)
5] Internet - a pain to have to log in again and again, apparently every time my laptop went to sleep or shut down.
6] I registered for a hotel+parking package. At checkout they tried to charge me for parking and then didn't seem to believe me when I told them the package I had registered in under.

I reserved a room with a friend on my SPG number and was billed the full deposit. The roommate was given credit for half the deposit causing issues at check-out. She registered with SPG on arrival and was recognized as the primary guest from then on. Staff ignored my 5 year history and my name. I checked in early and the full cost of the room without the sharing or deposit, plus "incidentals" was processed on my credit card tying up my full credit available. Undoing this fiasco at check-out was time consuming and almost impossible. We stood at the checkout for about 45 minutes will no offer of a chair despite my saying that I could not stand that long. I expect much more from Preferred Guest membership.
