Rated 4 out of 5 by this hotel is close to airport and good shultte servic The hotel and staff are very accommodating they act on requests as soon as possible . The restaurant has good food and service . But now for the down side the air conditioning was set to low .If out of room had to wear jackets out side of that we enjoyed our visit October 19, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Unsecure I left my room on the last day at 8a.m. to attend a meeting downstairs in the conference room and left my packed suitcase and other items in the room as checkout was not till noon. When I returned at 10:30 I found my room door propped open by the house cleaning sfaff along with other doors to other rooms down the hall but could not find a staff member. This concerns me that they would open my room and leave it unsecure ans anyone could of walked in and took whatever they wanted and I am sure I would of been told the hotel is not responsible. This really concerns me. I notified the front desk and was told they should not have done that and he would ask the housekeeping supervisor. I don't know if he did or not. October 3, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Hotel service and experience has improved I've stayed at the Sheraton in years past for Tennessee State University Homecoming weekend and each year I was very disappointed in the service and how alumni were treated. My stay this year was so much better. Hospitality at the registration desk has improved greatly. My only concern was that there was no after party on Saturday night at the hotel following the football game. It was quite out of character for a TSU Homecoming weekend, especially following a victory. I was told that there was a lack of cooperation by the hotel. Therefore, no party to be had. Event facilities for the other activities were great. I just believe that the Sheraton should be more agreeable, considering the money that we bring to the hotel at this time. October 1, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Don't stay during an event I would not recommend this hotel based on our experience. There was an event during our stay (TSU Football Reunion) and we could not sleep due to the noise level. We were on the second floor and could hear people outside yelling past 2am. I was upset that we as guests could not sleep due to people that were not even guests were loud and inconsiderate. We could barely walk through the lobby during our stay because of this event; it was super crowded. There was traffic to enter the hotel due to the event (they asked if you were staying at the hotel and your room number), and we could not even find decent parking. Not cool when you are paying to stay, while everybody else is there for an event. Also, the hotel wanted to charge $8 for holding a package for me. I have never encounter that in any hotel. Luckily, they waived the fee. They said they would deliver the package to my room, and an hour later they delivered it (I assumed they forgot since so much time had passed). Housekeeping woke us up really early, so make sure you put your Do Not Disturb sign, because they will knock early. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel mainly because they seem to have events all the time (by the time the TSU event was over, there was another one happening) and I do not want to stay somewhere crowded and loud. Rated 3 out of 5 by Not the best experience My room was on the first floor. Had to drag my suitcase up a flight of stairs. No elevator. The room location was right by those stairs so all evening and through the night you heard people in the hall. Second night was a big event and at all hours people were yelling, running up and down the hall. Beds were bad. Like slipping in a nest. No support. Also could hear traffic all night. The young lady with reddish hair was on her cell phone and never made an ofter to assist or check me in. Chad did a great job when I got to the counter. September 22, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great conference site I attended a two-day conference which was very well organized from all standpoints. Food was delicious and healthy. Breaks also were nutritious, in spite of its proximity to the airport, the noise of planes was not disruptive. And I liked the option of no maid service to be environmentally responsible. I have always thought it wasteful to change linens on a daily basis. September 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Military Ball We stayed here for my wife's Military Ball. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were polite and attentive. They made are stay very enjoyable and we will definitely be coming back. They rate was great for Nashville, TN. Shuttle services were provided to downtown. Hotel was beautiful, quiet and relaxing even though there were multiple events going on. September 9, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by Not what was expected or promised I booked a Club Room for my four day stay recently. I was a bit surprised that the Club floor was being renovated and that rugs, furniture, etc. were strewn about the hallways without any notification and without any effort by hotel staff to even acknowledge the inconvenience created by the mess. Because of the renovation, I was also placed the furthest from the Club Room, which made it very inconvenient to visit the Club Room due to the hotel size, and, even more troubling, I was notified that the Club Room was closed on the weekend. I've traveled a lot in my life and stayed at many hotel brands and found my stay to be somewhat of a bait and switch -- no notification of remodeling, no use of the Club Room on weekends, etc. I've never responded to one of these surveys before so I am not a complainer, but my experience was not the traditional experience of a Starwood hotel. Rated 4 out of 5 by Typical Staff very friendly and helpful. Club lounge small and uncomfortable chairs. more like stools Not meant for people to relax there. Lounge food is average and not special. No sauce for chicken wings Again nice staff who got the USA Today which was missing from lounge. Should have Wall Street Journal too along with Tennessean which is local paper August 30, 2014

Rated 1 out of 5 by falling apart The hotel needs work. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling. My A/C cover randomly flopped off at midnight and made a loud noise waking people up on the floor. The ice machine on the floor also didn't work. The indoor pool had a hot tub, but you could visibly see mold on the drainage area. August 29, 2014

My daughter is a student at Vanderbilt University and this is our third long term stay here after 3 previous stays at the Sheraton Nashville Downtown. While we always enjoyed our stays at the pricier Sheraton Downtown, we've found that the Sheraton Music City offers a comfortable, quality experience, not far from downtown and at a much friendlier rate, especially when you consider parking is free here versus @ $25 per night downtown. The staff here is professional and very friendly - they understand the hospitality business. I've always felt at home here. They provide excellent recognition to SPG Platinums and have been very open to reasonable requests to make our stay more comfortable. The pool / patio area is quite well landscaped with a fountain and beautiful flowers and trees. The club lounge, public areas and gym are within / above standards and while we were here, the hotel was undergoing a soft goods renovation of the rooms. Smoked salmon on the breakfast buffet was an unexpected, welcome touch. For an airport hotel, the property is quite spacious and feels secluded. Yet it really is convenient to BNA and downtown. As a weekly traveller and SPG Platinum, I highly recommend the hotel for location, customer service and value. August 22, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by This was the most awful stay ever Recommendation #1- if doing an overhaul or renovation in your hotel post signs asking guests to pardon your appearance. for this they will be more tolerable Recommendation #2- Do not place a guest in a hotel room that is at the very end of the hall that you are renovating. They may trip and get hurt falling over the laundry carts full of old carpet or furniture left throughout the hallway. Or their fall could be broken by one of the many mattresses you have lining the hallway. Recommendation #3- Never try to compensate the guest by insulting their intelligence or their wallet by offering two drink tickets. It won't fare well with the guest and they will not return to your hotel. recommendation #4- When One Direction is in town for a concert make sure your contractor has cleared the hallways of his materials so guests won"t see his mess. Or better yet, sacrifice the rooms and close them off to the public. August 21, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Welcome Break We were on a road trip to take our youngest (and last) son off to his Freshman year in college. This was our stop-over for the trip from Kansas City to South Carolina. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty (although my wife thought it was more like the Kardashians). Whatever we needed was responded to with no problem. From the desk staff to the doorman to the maid service, it was by far our best experience at a Starwood property and I stay in these properties weekly for business. Thanks to all and I only regret I don't have any names to send a shout-out specifically, August 18, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Housekeeping staff average at best. The staff and facilities were good for our event, but our room was not clean. There was a big hair and lint ball that was in front of the closet doors when we arrived and I left it there to see if the housekeeping staff removed it. It was there three days later when we departed. It is not like it was small either, at least three inches in diameter. The linens also had a funky smell. August 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Beautiful hotel, good features too! We had to wait until 3:30 to gain access to our room. The front desk person instructed us to use the stairs to the right of the front desk to get to our room. This was difficult as I had to lift my heavy bag up each step. Later we discovered if we had been sent the correct way we could use a ramp and come closer to our room as well. The pool and all other factors of this hotel were great! August 17, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wonderful Weekend Getaway My girlfriends and I came to Nashville for a relaxing and fun filled girls weekend. Your hotel definitely made our stay very enjoyable. You guys have a terrific facility and the staff was always quick to assist. There was no Diet Dr Pepper on the grounds but I will let you guys slide on that one. LOL! The thing that made the trip amazing was the shuttle service. It was very accommodating! It left on time and was very reasonably priced. It also picked you back up in a safe, central location and the driver (Donovan) was great. We will be sure an stay with you guys again soon. August 14, 2014
