Rated 3 out of 5 by Good hotel BUT... The facility was recently renovated and looks very nice, plus it is within walking distance of the airport. Check-in was simple and the information was correct. BUT there was no shampoo or conditioner in the room as I found out the next morning. This was fixed that day, but was a disappointment. WiFi in the lobby is free BUT very slow. On check-out the billing information had been lost so I had to pay with my own credit card. Not exactly what I would call world class performance. June 2, 2014

The desk agent was friendly and courteous, and immediately had my check-in information handy, and had us checked in in under a minute. The restaurant was clean, the food good, and the waitstaff efficient and attentive. If only there was a hot tub... June 10, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Stepping it up I shied away from this hotel for a while due to hostile and rude customer service. The last two times I stayed here they have changed their tune. The front desk staff, bar staff and club lounge staff were all very friendly, courteous and helpful. This hotel is very convenient for flying out of ABQ, and is just minutes from the airport. Despite the proximity to the airport I have never experienced any obtrusive noise from the airport. The rooms are very large, nice work area and decent sitting area. It is an older hotel but the remodel was nicely done. They are also very clean and well maintained. The restaurant and bar are above par for hotel restaurants and bars. I had been treated hostile in the club lounge in past stays, even asked to provide my ID despite having a key card to open the locked door, when I indicated I did not have it they asked me to go back to my room and get it; management did Nothing when I addressed the issue. Again they have stepped it up; the last two times I have been here the lounge staff was friendly and courteous. They have also extended the club hours to 9PM (nice touch) and added a desert item to the evening selection. With these new touches it is one of the best club floors. If you like to relax in a spa at the end of the day they don't have one. February 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfortable, Attractive, very good value close to ABQ airport I've stayed at the Sheraton Albuquerque Airport Hotel twice already - in both cases got a room at a good rate. Room is comfortable, large, elegant and up-to-date, with very comfortable bed. Restaurant in lobby is good - and open until 11 pm - which is great for us travelers coming in late. (There are also other food options such as in-room dining which I *believe* are around-the-clock.) Staff is very professional and appropriately friendly - from the airport shuttle driver through to reception. A customer-focused approach is obviously maintained. Excellent/ frequent shuttle service. Doubt I'll stay anyplace else when I need to fly out early from ABQ. January 18, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Room's ventilation had problems Rooms 1401 and 1403 both had heating / air flow issues. We called the maintenance person and he did what he could - however, it didn't help. The air blew continuously and it blew cool air. 1401 had her heat up to 85 degrees and it was very cool in her room. We tried and tried to adjust to different levels hotter/cooler but there was no difference. In 1403 we just shut the power off - it was better than the cool air blowing continuously. We spoke to the person at the desk in the morning as well. The rooms themselves were nice and they were clean. No problems there. The restaurant staff were great! We had Nina as our server at supper - she was fantastic! November 4, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Service needs attention This hotel is very nice but while I stayed there for a week I began to notice some flaws, not in the room (very nice and comfortable). but the attitude of the wait staff in the restaurant was less than friendly. I found that the staff in the restaurant were rude, unfriendly and seemed unhappy in their jobs and they took their dislike of the jobs out on me and others. My first 2 nights I ordered room service and greeted by a very nice waiter who made me feel very welcome and provided me with excellent service. Other staff were equally friendly. But, I would talk to those restaurant staff. April 8, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Bed Linens / Hotel Restaurant Overall the hotel is great and we will probably return. However, the bed linens were so stiff they made noise every time we moved! And the mattress was a little on the hard side. So needless to say, our nights sleep wasn't so good. The service in the hotel restaurant was a bit slow. My meal had mushrooms which I specifically told them to take out. The waiter said the Pesto wasn't any good and told my sister-in-law they'd make it without the Pesto. When the food did come my husband's wasn't there - the chef had dropped his hamburger on the floor and had to re-make it!!! They food was good - just getting it was a chore. December 31, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by A good hotel! Everything is really good except the fact that you have to wait a long time before someone at the front desk can answer your concerns and/or questions. The reason being that they at times only have one person working the check-in desk. Other than that issue, a really good hotel! May 27, 2014

Our recent stay started off great and I honestly would have rated higher EXCEPT for my discovery of the incredibly filthy bathtub drain when preparing for my night's shower after a 8-hour road trip...tub draining very slow...saw floating hair in water...looked in drain and pulled out a golf ball sized wad of hair PLUS a button, 2 disposable razor blade shields, and bath soap wrapper...which made me wonder about the housekeeping staff's attention as well as whoever inspected and passed the room...I find it hard to believe they would've not noticed the slow drain and bothered to check for the reason. Rated 5 out of 5 by Just what we needed! We were in the area for a trip into Santa Fe. Since our flight was leaving from Albequerque we decided to stay the last night near the airport choosing Sheraton simply because it was so close (walking distance to airport). We were very pleased! The hotel was very clean, tasteful modern decor, very nice bathroom area, comfortable bed with quality linens,air quality was great, hotel staff was very friendly, check in was a breeze, room rate was reasonable. We ordeded room service..food was very good and reasonably priced. Even though the airport was walking distance we decided to take complimentary shuttle on which the driver was so nice and pleasant! Rated 3 out of 5 by Paid for what I didn't get I paid for club level which places you on the top floor. It was past 3, when check in was and there was no room available. I was placed on 7th floor with access to the 15th floor. I was disappointed and since I arrived to the hotel at 10:30 am I just wanted to get in and take a shower after traveling all night to get there. After the first day they cleaned my room but I was clearly out of shampoo & conditioner and I had to track the lady down to get more. In other instances they are pretty good with replacing them. Rooms were comfortable, air conditioner starts to put out dry air overnight. Me and my room mate woke up in sweats every night. Not sure what the deal is there. May 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great under pressure The NCAA tournament was in Albuquerque and the Hotel was busy and bustling. I was recognized as an SPG member at check in and the process was a breeze with the little details taken care of with the two rooms I had reserved. The new rooms are nicely laid out with a work area and an easy to use internet. I was on the club level and the hospitality we received was fantastic. When the airport was shut down the Sunday of our departure that’s when the staff really shined! The hotel is extremely convenient to the airport and we could monitor the situation easily and the staff was excellent at meeting our needs. Bad weather, tested and tired travelers the staff performed magnificently. March 22, 2012

Rated 1 out of 5 by Horrible Employee! We stayed in this hotel overnight in December. When we arrived, after having been traveling for over 10 hours, we were assaulted by an angry worker who yelled at us for trying to use the luggage cart. He continued to yell at us until we took our luggage off. He then yelled across the lobby at the employee who checked us in. Then he yelled at us that he wanted to "help" us take our luggage upstairs. We've stayed in Sheratons all across the world and have NEVER been treated so badly. I turned in the comment card with all of my information, and the hotel never contacted me. We will NEVER stay there again! February 22, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love the hotel, breakfast was a problem The hotel is clean and we felt well taken care of until breakfast. After having to tell someone that our order hadn't been taken we received luke warm coffee, and the "warm ups" were also luke warm. My husband asked for no butter on his pancakes, he got butter. Syrup was served cold. I ordered fruit, yogurt and granola parfait and a side of hash browns. There was no granola in the parfait and I didn't recieve any hash browns. We also noticed that there was a buffet in the back room after we'd ordered. Wish someone had mentioned that, we could have picked our own meal and avoided all the problems. September 24, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by needs help Checked in as SPG platinum guest, told I could use high speed internet and would not be changed.... at check out I was charged for internet..... Thought bill was final until received email update this morning with a charge for a bottle of water. This is one of the free bottles in the room which clearly says "free for our Starwood Preferred Guest." I had to take the time to call and get that taken off the bill. I like this hotel for many reasons but having to go over your bill with a fine tooth comb to catch all the mistakes is not something that should have to be done. March 17, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Rojo Grill 1) Some of the waitstaff are a little too gushy, but then at the same time oddly inattentive after the order is taken...no checking on water, drinks, asking about whether coffee is wanted, etc. 2) The morning of check-out I was counting on breakfast beginning at the announced time of 6 a.m., but while the chef had arrived there were no waitstaff. The front desk tried to make it possible for me to breakfast on the 15th floor, but the card was not read by the elevator...by the time all of that happened, it was too late to go back and try again. This was an unusual occurrence, but still irritating. March 29, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by good dog friendly choice On a long road trip, we searched for a comfortable dog friendly hotel with plenty of green grass (to walk the dog). We selected this hotel because it was so close to I 25 (and 40). We never heard one airplane take off during our stay. Our only disappointment was that our room was close to the elevator ( specifically asked to be away from the elevator) and we could hear the ding ding each time it stopped on our floor. Also we ended up with an adjoining room door and we could hear every word spoken by the guests next door. Otherwise, the stay was very pleasant and would definitely stay again. April 14, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Bad stay I contacted customer service last night about my stay but was cut off. I had many problems with my visit. The room was freezing in spite of setting the thermostat to 82 degrees. I was told by the front desk that a water bottle would be sent to my room right away. It didn't get there til check out. And, my wake up call for 5 AM so I could catch my flight didn't happen. Instead, a hotel employee knocked very loudly on my door at 5:25. Overall, I rate this a poor hotel stay. I would have contacted management, but even the shuttle to the airport was late, and just " shmoozing" with staff while guests were anxiously waiting to get to the airport in time for one of the busiest flying times of the season. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great stay, great product My family stayed at the SAAH after a trip to Santa Fe; we had an early flight out and thought it would be easier to stay near the airport. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall physical product of the SAAH, the rooms are well appointed, the staff very friendly, restaurnat was "ok" but overall our stay was better than I had expected it would be. We swam in the pool, had cocktails in the bar, had hors d'oeuvres in the club lounge and ordered dinner in the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this property as a lovely, clean, pleasant hotel extremely convenient to the ABQ airport. September 25, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by A culture of excellent service I recently stayed the Sheraton Albuquerque Airport Hotel and was pleasantly surprised but the extraordinary service I received. Every member of the staff I encountered -- from the front desk, to the restaurant, to the airport shuttle -- was genuinely friendly and thoughtful. They were clearly committed to meeting (and even anticipating) the wants and needs of hotel guests. Kudos to the management for creating such a culture of fine service. Throughout the year, I stay at several business hotels across country and I have to say the Sheraton Albuquerque Airport Hotel was a real standout. February 19, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great, just a couple areas for improvement The hotel is great, rooms are very clean, bedding is ultra comfy, and it's very quiet. Just a couple of suggestions for improvement. One, I checked in at 5, and rooms still were not fully cleaned. Even when full, can't the housekeeping staff start earlier? Second, I was with a group, and box lunches during our meeting were practically inedible, grandmas brand cookies, mushy apples, and mediocre wraps with too much mayo and limp lettuce. The names of the different options were misleading too, what kind of lunch am I getting when it's called "Casino" or "Duke City? No idea. August 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by abq airport I was promptly greeted by the front desk lady and the bellman. Both were kind and helpful. I was traveling with a new dog and the bellman was very assisting in getting me into my room with no hassle. The room was an 'accessible' type room, but was very comfortable. I have noticed that when I use my SPG points , these are the rooms offered. I don't know why. All in all, a very nice hotel with a good staff, i spoke with the lady washing the lobby floor at 430am and she was a happy camper . If Corp. Sheraton keeps their employees happy I would be glad to stay here again. . September 5, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel has an excellent staff. My family and I had a most memorable stay at the Sheraton Albuquerque Hotel because of the friendly and excellent staff. Eddie at the front desk helped with the check-in and seemed very caring and made the extra effort to be sure my family was comfortable. We also really enjoyed the service provided by Nancy at the Club Level breakfast lounge. I would recommend this hotel without reservations for families that are travelling, especially with its location at the airport. April 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Unexpected Luxury I had to book a hotel near the airport for a very early flight the next morning. A colleague recommended the Sheraton as it was close to the airport. I was expecting the typical small basic room with an open closet and sticky floor. I was very pleasantly surprised to find a recently renovated hotel that was exquisitely appointed (Dark hardwood floors in the entrance, built in closets, marble and tile bathroom). The bed was one of the best I have slept in recently. And the staff were all perfect. It also had a restaurant that had wide food (and seating) choices. August 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Rates We have stayed with you many times, but we are disappointed that the rates have increased so dramatically. Also, there are more a la carte charges. WIFI is an add-on charge and parking over 10 days has an additional charge of $6.00 per night. Not sure if we will continue to book a room at this property May 2, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Tossed Salad This Sheraton got most of the basics right. Room/ bed/ service/ decor/ amenities were familiar and up to spec. HOWEVER, there were two things: -The pool was closed for the season. The SPG Club too. Short of an indoor pool, maybe an indoor hot tub would do? -I had two salads, neither adequate. At dinner, I asked my server, but the recommended Salmon Salad featured dry, overcooked fish and a super gloppy, over dressed salad. Yuck. For lunch the next day, I had a good chicken sandwich, but side salad was the sort of Iceberg generic that is just 'Too Denny's' for a Sheraton. I have stayed in a half a dozen Sheratons for almost 100 nights, so I hope I know what to expect. These two areas need some work, but I think they could be addressed. January 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by slightly disappointed The hotel is wonderful and the staff were great in almost every way... But I was disappointed that I was not upgraded to a club level room since there was availability. They wanted an increased charge of $20.00. I was given an "enhanced room" which basically means I got 2 bottles of water with no wifi. When I was Gold a year ago, if club level was available I was upgraded.... much better than an "enhanced room". I made certain to make gold again this year.... maybe it's not that important anymore. Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic newly renovated hotel This hotel has gone through extensive and tasteful renovations. Everything is new! The rooms are very comfortable and very large. The fitness center is also large and has a good variety of equipment and weights. The hotel is near the airport - but never heard any airport noise. And you can easily walk to the hotel from the airport via a very nice path through a parklike area - no more than 5 minutes walk. Or they run a free shuttle from airport if you have too much luggage to make that walk comfortable. Love this newly remodeled hotel. June 13, 2013
