Rated 4 out of 5 by dmike Small room but very comfortable hotel
I stayed at the Sheraton Boston for a medical conference. The location was great for a show at the Hynes Convention Ctr. The room was a little small, but it was clean and comfortable. The fitness center was well equipped and the services in the hotel were excellent.

Front desk staff helped with a requested room change without hesitation. Very accommodating, very pleased.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Bingham1210 The staff was amazing!
The staff and amenities and overall experience was excellent! I can't wait to come back! The staff was very helpful in recommendations for entertainment and eateries. It was wonderful and made the trip a memorable one that won't soon be forgotten. Thanks Sheraton Boston!!

I was very surprised at the rather shabby condition of the room.
The bathrrom sink was cracked and peeling, very leary about washing in it,
There was no headboard for the bed and the wallpaper over the bed was faded and peeling.
The chair and ottoman looked like my cat had worked on it for a couple of days.
Very unlike your usual room.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Johnnygull57 Fix the bathroom please
Hi, overall the room was fine, but the bathroom, beyond being really small, needs some repair work. Looks like the room above it had a big flood and the damage to the wall above the toilet is very obvious. Ceiling's a mess as is the wall paper where it meets the ceiling. Really unnecessary for a major hotel chain.
Rated 4 out of 5 by erika88 plesant stay
The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and easy to navigate. It's very conveniently located
The rooms are a nice size but the bathrooms are a little small. The only complaint I have is about the elevators but they were doing work on them during my stay. If the elevators were running regular I would have no complaints at all!
This is a nice place to stay if you want to be right in the heart of Boston and close to everything.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Campos64 A comfortable stay
Our two short visits to the Sheraton were very enjoyable. The rooms were comfortable with all the usual amenities provided, tea/coffee, tv, internet etc.
Staff helpful and friendly

I found that the Sheraton was a very good hotel with a great location. The main reason why I chose to stay there was the location. Natalie, the Concierge, was excellent in recommending restaurants or places to go and visit, helping with the logistical end of the trip. Yasim, the Valet, was very helpful when I parked the car in the garage. We valeted the car but the car was not parked in the garage. I asked him why not, he said I was a VIP. But I would like my car garaged, that is what I paid for. I asked him to take it off my bill, since it wasn't being garaged. And he did. It meant a lot to me for him to do that.
The price of the room was exhorbatant. Way more than I thought I would pay. Being from NYC, I would think that prices would be cheaper than NYC but they weren't and we stayed in a business district and stayed on a weekend, so it usually is less expensive. Boy, was I wrong.
Overall, the experience was very good. The people were great. Facilities were clean and location was top notch. I would recommend to stay there.
Rated 4 out of 5 by MET999 Room was a little small
We stayed in a queen bed room. It could have been a little bigger but met our needs. Disappointed their was no refrigerator.
Concierge Ellen was fabulous. Helped us with
dinner reservations, parking, directions, etc.
Rated 4 out of 5 by chechago1020 I Love it except ......
I love everything about this hotel - location most importantly - the size of the room - cleanliness of the room - and customer service is superb! Only downside is the elevator problem and also the bathroom - i thought the tub had a stain but its cracked in small spot also the wallpaper is peeling off . If you have access to the LOUNGE is a Big Plus - They have delicious food there and very cozy - so for those who wish to stay - I highly recommend an upgrade for lounge access - it's worth IT :)

I have stayed in just about every brand of Hotel all over the US and abroad and have NEVER paid so much for parking! I was not told the price or options when I arrived or I would have self parked! Also the 2 times I tried to get my car it took over 20 -30 minutes because there was not anyone working! I will Never stay there again!!!

Very professional and helpful. Allowed early check in and also rearranged the two rooms so they were close together. The bathrooms were a bit of a surprise for the room rate?
Rated 4 out of 5 by BigWigg Good Location
This hotel is conveniently located to most 'must see' attractions including Fenway Park. Being attached to shopping is a big plus, as well as access to the Top of The Hub.
Rated 4 out of 5 by TomC Overall good stay... but 1 complaint
My only complaint. The parking was too expensive. Your hotel does not validate the parking, so we paid the higher rate than the retail customers that park in the same lot. I found a parking lot next door with the same options for half the price. I would think that you would at least validate the parking for the patrons staying in your hotel?
Rated 4 out of 5 by Newmex Nice Suite
Everything was nice and appropriate. Suite was large and comfortable. Bathroom was standard, but a bit small. Closet was very small and filled with Ironing board, iron, safe, that took up a lot of space.
Rated 4 out of 5 by LaineyO Sheraton Boston
If you are looking for a nice hotel in a convenient location in the city, look no further than this hotel. You will be very happy with your choice. However, the room service menu is limited. But since you are in a great location, you can walk to some wonderful restaurants.
Rated 4 out of 5 by MeganL7312 Nice Hotel, Terrible WiFi
The hotel is large and beautiful. The thick shades in the room allowed for a pleasant sleep in the dark.
My only complaint is about the WiFi. I paid a WiFi fee in my room, and my computer would only stay connected to the WiFi for approximately 3 minutes at a time.
Rated 4 out of 5 by TXtraveller Nice Hotel - Good Ammenities - Staff not the friendliest
We came for a conference at the Hynes convention center. The hotel met our expectations for being an upper end hotel. Our only draw back was the front desk staff (not all but most of them).
The doormen, cleaning staff were friendly. The front desk staff (who get paid to be courteous) were not.
Rated 4 out of 5 by NewEnglandTour Recommendation
We stayed in this hotel for 2 days during our New-England-Tour. The room was nice & clean and the view spectacular!
It's in the middle of the City - the Trolley stops in front of the hotel --> very good for tourists.
The food was delicious.
Just one little criticism: it was very cold in the lobby (air-con)
Rated 4 out of 5 by Mike1318 Hotel was ok, staff polite, some issues
Hotel was nice, bathrooms very small, my room was not cleaned 2 days in a row and the beds were not made when I originally got there, TV was unplugged so I moved the dresser to plug it in and dust and garbage behind the dresser kind of bad. Hotel Staff was very helpful and polite. Be prepared to pay big city prices for any food or drinks.
Rated 4 out of 5 by mainer21 WOW great place to stay
first time staying at this hotel - we were so impressed. great room, exceeded expectations
Rated 4 out of 5 by Robin42 A little disappointed w room
Staff and service was wonderful at hotel. I was disappointed with room on north tower. As a star wood preferred floor it was nothing to write home about. Tower is old. Our bathroom had peeling paint from ceiling and vent in bathroom was filthy. Never cleaned. Just not what I expect when I stay at Sheraton
Rated 4 out of 5 by bckc Two days in Boston
Spent two days sight seeing Boston. This was a great location for beginning our tours.
Staff was very helpful in getting us tickets for trolly and duck tours.
Rated 4 out of 5 by balu786 Great Location and excellent services and courteous staffs
I am thankful to your check-in desk service specialist help in accommodating my early check in request. I got the room in 2123 with extra $20 per day for Club level privilege. The room was much smaller than I thought and the club was closed on Saturday for a private function. I was busy on the other two days and I could not enjoy the privilege. Overall, the staffs were very courteous and helpful. Kudos

Loved it but the elevators were a bit slow. Otherwise was perfect!

Very well situated with direct access to the Prudential shopping center, multiple lunch and dinner options as well as the subway. Great staff, nice views of Boston. Splendid pool.

PrePaid -20% (could've had 30%!!) - good
Early check-in - 9am - excellent
Starbucks then Bkfast w/WiFi in Lobby - good
Room, size, condition - very good
Battered fridge in room with left-over guest sour yogurt, half-eaten cheese and something burst/wedged in freezer - not so good (tho' service did remove it after I left a note)
Pool - excellent (esp for early laps)
Fitness large rooms - good
Location, attch to Prudential Mall (conv T station) and next to Newbury Street - good
Internet - charge!? (free lobby, and some SPG members) but also PER device! - mediocre nowadays
Room Service, std 2 eggs, bacon, toast Bkfast $25, +15%, +delivery, +admin, + sales = $35-40: yep, for 1 bkfast! - ridiculous
Think that's out there!? Cornflakes $11, + all those same extra charges = $20. Yeah. $20 for a bowl of cereal - no comment
Green scheme to not have sheets/towels changed option, reward w/$5 hotel coupon - excellent

very comfortable stay with central location to center of Boston
Rated 4 out of 5 by KevinM08034 Sheraton Boston okay and good
Arrival: We arrived at the Sheraton Boston Hotel on a Thursday around 1:30pm. We proceeded to the check-in area to check-in. This area is a bit confusing they have a check-in line but no real check-in line for SPG Gold Members. They do have a SPG desk so we walked to that area and we were greeted quickly. Tom who checked us in was friendly and gave me the room requests I had asked for without any issues. Check-in was quick and friendly.
Room: We had a corner room on the 28th Floor of the South Tower with views of the river, Prudential Center and the surrounding area. The room was clean but was not renovated. I was surprised that the room wasn't renovated because the hotel is saying their rooms have been renovated. The desk in the room had water damage, the curtains were old, the TV worked poorly and the bathroom was in need of a major renovation. I was a little surprised that this was an "upgraded" room and being a SPG Gold Member they would use this room for SPG Members. The bed was comfortable and the room was a good size so that was a plus.
The area: The area around the Sheraton Boston is perfect, you have two small malls, many restaurants and easy access to public transportation.
We did have an issue during our stay. We had two reservations for the hotel because our first night was free and the two other nights we were paying for. So when we checked in Tom linked both reservations so we wouldn't have to change rooms during our stay. Well on the second day we had just arrived back to the hotel we heard someone attempting to get into our room from the hallway and the connecting door to the room next to us. Then we got a phone call from the front desk asking when we were checking out. I explained that we were staying to more days and the two reservations and she said "oh, I see it now, you can stay in that room". Again a little surprising for a Sheraton. I contacted Tom at the front desk, because we had to get new card keys for our room because they had been deactivated. I explained to him the issue and he was very surprised and apologized. He fixed the issue and gave us some extra SPG points to make up for the experience.
There is also a bit of a security issue in the North Tower. We stayed in the South Tower and you had to use your key to access the elevator. In the North Tower, I'm guessing because the Conference Rooms and serviced by those elevators, you don't have to use your key. This was a little concern because you could go from the underground parking garage right up to a hotel floor without a key or anything.
Overall the Sheraton Boston was a okay hotel when it comes to the room and the one incident we had and a good hotel for location.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sherri19 Small bathrooms
The bathrooms were very tiny. The door to the bathroom was narrow and the threshold up into the bathroom is a trip hazard. There are no refrigerators in the room which was disappointing. Otherwise, the beds were comfortable.
