Being an SPG, I have been a starwood guest for over 10 years in various continents. My stay at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Bangkok has been the worst Sheraton experience ever.
The staff were extremely unfriendly and uncommunicative , the quality of food was very mediocre and the cleanliness of the room was below par.
Overall I would give starwood hotels a pass in Thailand.

I have visited Royal Orchid Sheraton two times in this year.
When i was visit this hote first time, there was swindlers in elevator.
Of course, it is my fault that I show my wallet to swindlers.
Anyway, Guests who have a plan to stay in this hotel, must be careful against swindlers visiting Royal Orchid Sheraton.
When I visited this hotel second time, a manager gave my reservation to other guest, arbitary...
So, I almost cannot lodge in this hotel if I don't prove for myself that I had booked already.
After I checked my e-mail for a hour in the lobby and the manager checked hotel's system, I could find my confirmation number that I have alread booked and My old Mom should wait for me till last night.

I found spider web in the room.
I found body lotion placed that somebody already used ( Half left).
I found dirts on table.
I found hair in the bath tub.
I found no hair comb in the room.
I found face mirror's light does not on.
I reported it to front office and they never say sorry, they said it was my fault to not check right away. they blame on me.
I found spider web again (which I requested to remove#

I found some unknown membership key card in card switch
I found spider web again and again
I found no hair come again again
I found hair in bath tub again again
I found spider web in the room again again again

I asked room charge with coupon in Sambal bar, but the staff did not understand English
they never asked if I stayed alright or not.
the frontoffice could not find my room charge bill so I had to wait about 30 minutes to done the check out.
I stayed 7months ago and that was outstanding .
so I chose this hotel again for my honeymoon.
Me and my wife felt unhappy during stay.
I can not trust starwood hotel now.
Oh.. and there was no such things for honeymooners too. #differently with other starwood hotel.)_
will not stay SHERATON AGAIN in my life.
And I will try to stop anyone who would like to stay at your hotel.

The conference I attended was scheduled at your Hotel from April 5-8 ... I checked in April 4th.
On making my booking I asked over a month earlier if I could have a late check out on my departure date of April 11 (@2pm). Actually my decision to extend my stay at your hotel until April 11 rested on that point. Your hotel excepted that point even on check in I extended and then was told to GO OUT on the 11th by some member of the desk staff as a result my trip and stay was totally changed. I would not stay at this Hotel again.

This hotel is one of our very favourite hotels in the world and we have been staying there for many years. But last night changed my perception totally. 4 of us had an early check out and I had prepaid for 4 x breakfasts. Because of early checkout, breakfast was forgone. But they charged me 110 BHT for my guests who used a whire top bottle of water in the room instead of the free bottle of water! I would have thought that as they gained 4 x breakfasts they had been paid for and didnt have to serve, 110BHT for a bottle of water would been an easy credit. Not so. They made me pay. So I think next time I will find another hotel.
As business man, I would have credited the 110 bht knowing that I had scored payment for 4 breakfasts that were not used and anyway, with a loyal cusomter, repeat business means more than a lousy 110 BHT

I've stayed at this hotel on various occasions, and I must say that this will be the last time I stay at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel and Towers. I have numerous complaints from all of my friends that I've invited here to Bangkok, Thailand regarding receptionist services and room amenities. I was terribly disappointed with how I was addressed at the reception area, and for a hotel that is a compensating hundreds of guest, you would imagine there'd be more than two receptionist at the counter. The line to check in to the rooms were lengthy and the time it took the receptionist to attend to guest is ludicrous. I think that the reception and general management of the hotel has definitely gone downhill from my last visit. I was so disappointed because I was wanting my friends to have a good experience, and the reflection of service from the hotel was extremely embarrassing. Definitely, will post this on trip advisor and yelp. Poor hotel management overall. Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotels and Towers charge corporate rates, but the service in return is not worth the money! So so disappointed!

This hotel was way below SPG standards.
I was shocked my lack of attendance by staff.
There were dirty dishes in hall for 3 days.
I stayed at this hotel because it was a Sheraton and was very disappointed.
Questions Sheratons overall standards and will question staying at a Sheraton again.

Room needs to be refurbished. It was not dirty, but not very clean either. No amenities like toothbrush, shaver, cotton buds etc that are standard even in 2** hotels in Asia. No slippers. Wakeupcall came one hour to early.
