I travel a lot for business so it is so nice to have friendly hotel staff and some of the added features such as having access to the Club Lounge. Blesilda always greets me with a warm welcome back & I am amazed that she remembers my name with all the guests she greets. All the staff here from the front desk, to housekeeping to club lounge staff are terrific. Thank you
Rated 5 out of 5 by deerisle Outstanding hotel in downtwon Toronto
Simply put, I had an outstanding stay, and I highly recommend this property. I could stop there, but I'll detail some aspects of my stay because some of the reviews lift up concerns that were not consistent with my experience.
My stay started with a warm greeting from the bell staff as I arrived at the hotel. The check in process was efficient and took less than 5 minutes in spite of a large conference crowd-- there was a platinum line which was very nice. I had an upgraded room, and the room was immaculately clean. The views were very nice.
There was an error with the message light, and that was resolved within 5 minutes. I mention this issue because some reviews mention long wait times. I never had any significant wait times for assistance, and I was greeted by name and treated very professionally. Great service.
The Club Lounge is spectacular. It's on the 43rd floor with a panoramic view. The only drawback is that it closes at 10pm. I would have liked to go up for a cup of decaf one night and just relax. The continental breakfast was nice and had a decent variety. The coffee machines are the same new ones as at other Starwood hotels-- I love them! I brought a colleague up one evening for cocktails and snacks, and it was great meeting venue.
Finally, the hotel is located near the subway and other public transportation. I try to use public transportation whenever I can, and it was very easy here even when it was raining (just a one block way to the subway).
I expect to be back in Toronto, and I plan to stay at the Sheraton Centre.

This hotel has everything one would need whether staying for business or pleasure. The accommodations are clean, comfortable and spacious. The indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub are a great way to unwind after a long day of work or shopping (the Eaton Centre is just moments away!) and the fitness centre is a great way to keep up with routine when away from home.
The hotel restaurant has great food and service - in fact every staff member encountered was courteous, helpful and always had a smile on their face.
I will be staying at the Sheraton Centre again!

Recently I stayed at the Sheraton Centre for the NDP Leadership convention. We had an amazing time at your hotel once again and I feel the need to thank you and your staff once again. Ronnie Hossein came through for me again, he was able to secure a room for myself and a friend even though he was very sick at the time. He's a great guy and thought you should know that even sick he performed his duties amazingly. Blesilda who works in the club lounge recognized me right away and greeted me as she always does. It's nice to see friendly faces when you spend so much time away from home as I do. Actually all the staff upstairs stop and talk to me when they see me and welcome me back. You have a great crew working there and when I stay in Toronto it will be at your hotel. I'm glad you changed the menu upstairs it's always nice to grab a snack after a meeting.

We had a great stay. Didn't have a chance to use the restaurant, but everything else was very good to excellent.
My only complaint is with the coffee-maker in the room. I'd prefer a glass coffee pot with a few styrofoam cups; using the cup itself as a coffeepot wasn't great and limited you to one cup at a time. Most other hotels have glass pots that give you 2-3 cups at a time.

I absolutely loved staying at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel. I was given a room upgrade at check in which was spactacular. The lobby is gorgeous, the resturaunt and bar is excellent. Staff was so friendly as well.
Great for business travelers!

We returned to Ottawa yesterday following a two-night stay at the Sheraton Centre.
This was our third stay at the hotel within the past six months.
When we stayed at the Sheraton Centre in February, we arrived to discover that the booking we had made through SPG had not been recorded. Nevertheless, the front-desk staff found a room for us on what appeared to be a very busy day.
During our most recent stay, the front-desk staff amended our booking so that we could stay in a self-contained suite, rather than a junior suite, after we inadvertently booked the wrong type of room.
Being early risers, we have, on several occasions, shown up at the Club Lounge at least 30 minutes before the scheduled opening in the hope of grabbing coffee and tea. Despite the hour, we have always been welcomed and were able to get takeaway tea and coffee..
We have been staying at the Sheraton Centre for more years than we can recall. We will continue to do so and we look forward with anticipation to our next visit.

I stayed at this hotel 80 nights last year and 50 night so far this year. The staff are what makes this hotel great! The building itself shows its age, andthe rooms could be cleaner (I found them very dusty) and the executive lounge snacks are very repetitive (of course I stay here a lot!)m but the staff are friendly, courteous, helpful, and treat me like an old friend. Specifically, I want to call out Lily at front desk/reception, and Blesilda in the executive lounge, In fact all the executive lounge staff are great!

My wife and I have stayed many time over the years and still love this hotel, it's location and most of all it's staff. We know most of the staff very well and are treated so well by all of them. Brian on the front desk and Blesilda in the club lounge are very good and always take good care of my wife and myself. They are always there to speak to and offer help or assistance if required.

Most of my travel takes me to Toronto. When I'm there I always plan to stay at the Sheraton Downtown. It feels like a second home to me. The hotel staff are great (very friendly, always making you feel welcome). Whether its the food, the room or service its always been excellent. Special thanks to those in the club lounge, especially Blesilda. She's the best!!

I just wanted to share with all who are thinking about booking The Sheraton Toronto; it is an amazing hotel and you will not be disappointed. Beautiful property, great rooms, wonderful staff and do not leave home without your bathing suit as this is the Most Outstanding Hotel Pool in the city. You can swim indoors and outdoors in winter and summer. Hotel Sheraton offers everything. I have stayed here multiple times and just love it. Have even booked the hotel for my daughter's Birthday party. Love it! And I travel globally.

The staff at this hotel always exceeds my expectation for great service. They care about having return customers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Tim17 Home away from home
My wife and I have been travelling to TO for 23 years. We only found the Sheraton Centre in 2004, but it has since become our home away from home. The location, facilities and staff are second to none. We stay here 4-5 times a year and even when we've had issues on one or two occasions, the staff has addressed them to our complete satifaction. We love Safwat, our favorite bartender anywhere....he is always a highlight of our trips. Our only current issue is the transformation of Trader's which was our favorite bar anywhere. It was one of the major reasons we came to love the property. We are apprehensive about the new bar/restaurant, but willing to take a wait and see approach. Even if we end up disappointed with it, there are way too many positives to outweigh that single negative. Already booked for April and can't wait to be back!
Rated 5 out of 5 by jimmyD Top Level Service!
Let me start by saying I stay at a lot of hotels, I have close to 400 room nights at Sheraton hotels alone over the last 5 years. I expect a certain level of service from hotels, so its rare I write views on properties. Last I had one such experience though that it does deserve a kudos. I was at the Sheraton Centre in Toronto and when leaving the Club Lounge, I said thank you to the lady that checks people into the lounge and was answered with, Your Welcome Mr DeLeskie. As I said I expect proper service, clean room, etc from a hotel, but being a frequent travel nothing puts it over the top for me, like having someone remember my name. There are many hotels I've been to, but maybe 1/2 dozen where people remember me by name, for more then the 2 minutes to check me in. It made my day!
The rest of the staff where great and nice on my stay as well, but had to single out the club level folks for being top notch!
Rated 5 out of 5 by currency Excellent Staff, MGMT and Service
I have been staying at this Sheraton since 1999 and the Staff, most have been there a long time, provide Excellent Service and are very pleasant, they reflect the Excellent MGMT.
I highly recommend this hotel, as a long time guest, for the excellent service and MGMT.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Kathy Excellent customer service experience
I have stayed at the Sheraton Centre many times over the years. It has been awhile since I have stayed at the hotel but due to a change in work responsibilities I will be in Toronto regularly and will sometimes need to stay over. I am a Starwood Gold member and always try and stay at a Starwood property.
I was booked for Wednesday and Thursday evening last week. On Thursday the weather forecast changed and a severe snowstorm was forecast for Southern Ontario. I had a dinner meeting on Thursday evening and I had planned to leave Toronto early Friday morning. When the forecast continued to deteriorate on Thursday I decided to check out in the late afternoon and drive back to London late Thursday evening before the storm.
When I checked out I asked if the valet parking could be removed from the bill on Thursday night. I was expecting to pay for the room even though I wasn't staying but I really didn't want to pay for the valet parking when my car was not going to be there. The woman at the Front Desk was incredibly helpful. I wish I had gotten her name. When I explained the situation to her she checked me out of the room and determined that I did not have to pay for Thursday night. I was so pleasantly surprised. It was so much more than I was expecting and is another example of the customer service focus that your front line staff have in abundance.
Of course I will return to the Sheraton. I told several colleagues that evening about my very positive experience. Since then I have told several friends about the exceptional service experience and have recommended the hotel to them when the next stay in Toronto.
With kind regards,
Rated 5 out of 5 by Pingle77 Wonderful Family Day Stay at Sheraton Toronto Centre
Prior to this visit I have stayed at the Sheraton on business, but never for pleasure. During our overnight Sunday stay the service from all of the Sheraton staff was outstanding.
From the house keeping/guest services staff who took our calls, to the man who brought us extra pillows and blankets and to the men in the Club Lounge on Monday morning who helped my children get hot chocolate and everything else they needed, I thank you.
In particular, there's one person who I feel deserves special recognition. The reception we received from Carole at the front desk was outstanding. In my opinion, Carole could write the book on creating a good first impression. From her welcoming smile to her professional demeanour, Carole delivered it all.
Our family of five enjoyed every moment of our stay at the Sheraton and we will, without question, be returning to the Sheraton on our next family trip to Toronto and I will certainly be staying there for business.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Deb2012 Very happy with the Sheraton Center
I am a frequest business traveller to Toronto and choose to stay at the Sheraton Center. “Home away from home” is a bit of a cliché, but, in this hotel it is true. Right from the Front Desk team, to the Bell team, Luggage Room, and, especially Guest Services, everyone goes above and beyond.
At the end of a long day, being checked in by friendly, smiling people who great me by name, and remember my personal details, hearing my room is in my favorite area of the hotel, and having one of the bell team run to grab my “staying bag” from luggage and getting my travel bag on a cart is really appreciated.
And sometimes I even receive a lovely amenity to recognize my repeat business :)

• Atef, Long, Prakash, Roland, George, Ron, Michael, George, Edward – bell desk / valet desk
• Paul, Nonie, Ronnie, Maria – front desk
• Blessie and the morning team at the lounge

Rated 5 out of 5 by Joowlz Birthday treat
My sister and I stayed at the Sheaton Centre Toronto from September 8th to 15th 2011 as a gift for my 50th birthday. We already had high expectations of this hotel from reading reviews on Trip Advisor and from personal recommendation from friends, but we were overwhelmed when we got there. From the minute we stepped through the doors we were treated like VIPs. When the booking was made we were on a very tight budget and could only afford to book room only. We arrived at the check in area and were told that as it was a special birthday we had been upgraded to club class!!! I have a SPG card so we received points on that too!!
The from we were allocated was on the 35th floor and the views were spectacular to say the least. We could see the harbour area and Centre Island (through the buildings) and the CN Tower as well as an impressive array of skyscrapers that lit up the night sky like twinkling stars.
The room had two beautifully comfortable beds in it (I had the best weeks sleep in a long time!) and everything you would expect from a 4* hotel. Considering we were right in the centre of this wonderful city you couldn't hear a thing through the double glazing.
This hotel is situated right at the heart of everything. Just a 5 minute walk and tou were T the Eaton Centre a HUGE shopping and eating experience. Be sure to visit the Urban Eatery food court.........but go there hungry, there is so much to choose from. Situated within the hotel there is Traders, a friendly bar for all ages, Link which is a coffee and snacks bar, and Quinns which is an Irish bar where the welcome is warm and the food beautiful.
Up on the 43rd floor we found the club lounge. This lounge afforded some excellent views of the city from two sides through floor to ceiling windows. The food here was buffet style and it was always well stocked and beautiful. The staff in the lounge were extremely pleasant and very helpful. They always had a lovely smile and a hearty good morning/afternoon/evening for you. Nothing was too much trouble for them. All of the staff at the Sheraton Centre Toronot deserve a pat on the back. Their customer service is second to none. I would most definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a special place to stay, and will 100% stay there again on my next visit.
Thank you Sheraton Centre for making my 50th birthday celebration so special and memorable.
Room Tip: If you can afford to then I would recommend you upgrade to club class. Also join the SPG rewards programme. This is part of the Sheraton chain and you earn points for every dollar spent. You can redeem these points for extra nights, flights, food etc. Well worth 5 minutes of form filling!!
Rated 5 out of 5 by NatturalButterfly Great Stay
I stayed at this location from Feb 2-3, 2012 due to a water outtage at my place of residence. I live in the city, and I have stayed at many hotels in the city, I decided to try the Sheraton Centre. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much and I was pleasantly surprised.
First, when I called to confirm if I could check in as early ast 1pm, the CS agent was very friendly and helpful. I arrived at the hotel at 1pm and was served by a young man who was very nice and extremely helpful. There was an issue with my credit card and he offered other optiotions to settle the bill. I was staying on a discounted rate that the had to paid at the time of booking. I appreciate the fact the hotel kept my reservation even thought the charge had not gone through. The young man was very patient and did everything he could to rectify the situation. Even though I was only staying one night and not a members of the starwood program, he gave me everyone of my ridiculous requests: high floor, not by elevator, great view. It took less than 10 mins for check in! Very efficient. When I got to my room, it was amazing! Lovely King size bed (very comfy - was almost late for work!!! Did not want to get up!!! :) ), the bathroom was a great size and the shower had great water pressure. The view was amazing... Toronto at night, that high up with all the lights was wonderful!!!
There are a few suggestions I do have: the check in counter may need a few more people as there was a bit of a wait to check in and out (maybe call in reserves when there is more than 3 guests waiting in line); an extra adjustable mirror coming out from the wall; extra pillows. other than that it was a great stay and I would definitely stay again and reccommend!!!
Rated 5 out of 5 by TheShadow Very Nice Hotel, Good Location
We stayed at the Sheraton for the Boat Show and had a wonderful stay. Our room looked over Nathan Phillips square and the skating rink. It was very clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was there was no wireless internet in the room. On one of the previous posts they mentioned this and the hotel replied saying that they now have wireless in the rooms. It is NOT in the rooms and there is notification in the room the you must go down to the lobby if you need WiFi. Other than that, it was a great stay, in a great room. Next year we will stay again but skip the boat show and maybe go shopping in Toronto.
Rated 5 out of 5 by FamilyofFour Very Impressive
My husband and I travelled to Toronto for a one night stay in the Downtown core and the Sheraton was definitely the place to stay! The rooms were clean and very comfortable, we had a great view of Nathan Phillips Square, everyone was very friendly and accommodating and having the ability to walk underground to the Eaton Centre was an added bonus. Our valet parking guy (Serge?) was very friendly and quickly made friends with our 11 year old son. Everyone seemed to go over and above our expectations. We were very pleased with our stay and will definitely consider this hotel on our next Toronto excursion!

When I checked into the hotel I was greeted by Brian at the front desk. Even though I had lost mt Gold status as I a Starwood member Brian noted the number of times I had staid in the hotel over the years. He wanted to be sure that I still felt like a gold member and gave me an upgraded room and was extremely accomodating on assiting with anything I needed. The room had a tremendous view and the contiental breakfast was a great convience for myself and wife.
Brian thanks for a great job

For the price during PDAC conference, the Sheraton is good value. Relatively convenient access to business district and shuttle service to the conference. Outstanding workout/pool facility, restaurants appropriate-although lacking a high end venue. Only complaint- when checking in was told my internet access would be waived in final checkout invoice- this didn't happen, and then advised only waived for Platinum level members-unfortunately I have not yet achieved their highest level. Cost is $17/day so be prepared.
