Rated 3 out of 5 by Great location - staff ok Location is excellent - hotel has been upgraded inside altho on the outside might not look as pleasant. The rooms are nice. Showers need work. Staff are mediocre. Concierge was not that great - neither were the valet folks. I'm used to high quality SPG staff. They were what I'd find at any other hotel brand. Also the coffee shop QUITE expensive! March 9, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Perfect location for families Nice hotel,great staff comfy rooms but very noisey floors from rooms above. A fridge and microwave would be very handy and tea along with the coffee in the rooms would be good. Also wifi should be free. You couldn't get a more convenient location for families to everything San Francisco has to offer, we loved it!! January 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Location and Service This location is soooooo convenient, great for tourism. The breakfast restaurant was quite small, and when there are some tourist groups it may become congested. Fortunately there is no group during christmas :) The room was awesome! Decorations are quite fashionable. Front desk, concierge and restaurant staff are very helpful in every aspects. December 26, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by Convenient hotel The hotel is well situated to downtown San Francisco and they staff can get you a cab anywhere in the city in short order. I think that the hotel was acceptable but it is starting to show its age compared to some of the other available hotels in the same price category. The rooms are clean if a little aged and the staff polite and competent. February 9, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by No Club Lounge I just stayed at the hotel for the Anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge and was very dissapointed to find out the hotel has no Club Lounge. And the "breakfast" offered as Platinum Amenity would have been a "boxed breakfast" and not a "sit-down breakfast". Happily the emberassed front desk member warned me about this when I made my decission. May 31, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great location, friendly and helpful staff Hotel staff were extremely helpful. Printed our electronic Alcatraz tickets for free. Valet parking was very responsive, we had our car within 5 minutes of our request. Everyone was willing to take the time to give directions to local attractions. Room was clean and functional. The hotel was within walking distance of many local attractions. October 1, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Service Excellence and location for Fisherman's Wharff All of the staff we encountered during our overnight stay were excellent. They were friendly, helpful and efficient. Everyone from the front desk, the bellman, parking attendants, maintenance workers, and concierge delivered great service and were very personable. The location was perfect for spending time at the Wharf. Can't get any closer! December 28, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by too old Stayed 2 nights there. Too old and worn out. Loud rooms. Hear everything from the street - and from rooms nearby. No Wifi at rooms - only for 15 $..... - you just pass the road and get a better one for free. All in one - not good. For me, Sheraton is a better name as what we have seen here. January 28, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Sorry this one seem to have issues with my skin color. The hotel was OK and most of the staff excellent. Their were a few staff members that had some serious issues. They where rude and disrespectful. I do not pay my money to be treated this way. I feel sorry for the majority of the staff was excellent but for what we pay to stay there I don't expect or appreciate the disrespect I received. July 29, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very clean, comfortable! My daughter and I were on a Mom/Daughter trip to San Francisco and stayed at the Sheraton. Our room was very comfortable, crisp and clean, nice decor. Everyone was very helpful. My concern was not enough man power at the concierge desk during the morning/early afternoon hours - we had to leave after waiting at least 20 minutes 3 times. Rated 3 out of 5 by Parking Garage Sucks Very bad system. Getting in and out of garage needs to be changed. Way to customer unfriendly. Staff needs to explain in detail how this very poor system works. If you make a mistake you have to make a u-turn in an unsaft manner and then drive the wrong way on a one way lane which almost caused an accident. I will NOT stay here again. October 28, 2012

The staff was supportive and gave us the local insights to make best use of our time in San Francisco. I am not sure when we will be going back to S.F. ,but when we do I am sure we will reserve a room there again. October 14, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Location We were on holiday so we were excited about how easy it was to get to attractions and fantastic food options. The hotel was comfortable and clean. We didn't rent a car and found that we didn't need to since the buses, trolleys, and taxis were readily available. The fitness room was great since it had a good variety of new equipment. Rated 3 out of 5 by Sheraton Fisherman's warf The location is good specially if you want to enjoy the various Piers around. San Francisco is a great and easy city to walk or get around by Bart of bike. On the other hand, the permise is average. Some improvement have been made, on the outside fireplace, sitting area etc... with time but the rooms are pretty average. November 26, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Fishy in SF Other than convenient location I would not stay at this location again. Climate control for room was difficult at best, room was noisy street cars all night. Restaraunts at hotel were overpriced and limited. The staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful. Kudos to staff but the hotel needs work and to relook their pricing. November 19, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Very expensive No reading material featuring local sights, etc. Things added to the bill were out of sight !! San Fran has the ability to charge high fees, but seems un-american.. Lobby bar prices get near Piracy. Desk personnel were outstanding. Just an average room, and except for the location to the Wharf, not worth the money !!! Ron384 August 5, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Disappointing The service was disappointing. Check in line was long and only one staff available. When asked for a quiet room, got put to a room with noisy traffic. When asked to change room, I was told that only one room on first floor available while there were many people not checked in yet. I did not feel that staff was trying to help. October 28, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by A bit disappointed The 1st disappointment was when we found out there's no jacuzzi. The bathrooms are very small and leaves very little room in the shower. Staff is not very friendly. The housekeeper "cleaned" our room and didn't even pick up the scattered newspaper from the floor. I'd say all you're paying is the convenience of the location. Rated 3 out of 5 by Not a Bad Hotel The hotel has a great location, 2 blocks from Pier 39. However, despite being a Starwood property is shows its age. The hotel rooms are a bit old, the AC looks like it's from the 80s and the roof seems to shake whenever the person above walks around their room. That said, I'd stay there agin if I was looking for proximity. July 25, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Poor Internet availability Although the hotel was clean and well-maintained, I found it a major inconvenience that they did not offer free WI-FI. WI-FI was available for the steep cost of $14.95 for 15 minutes. This was my first experience with a hotel that did not offer this service for free and it would prevent me from using their services again. May 8, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by EXCELLANT HOTEL TO STAY AT POOL VIEW ON 2ND FLOOR WAS EXCELLANT. MODERN, FLAT SCREEN TV, BEDDING AND BED TOP OF THE LINE AND VERY COMFORTABLE. LOCATION CLOSE TO EVERYTHING. FISHERMAN WHARF 5 MINUTES AWAY. ALL TYPES OF TRANSPORTATION AVAILABLE AT THE DOORSTEP. WILL ABSOLUTELY WILL COME BACK. STAFF ARE THERE FOR ALL YOUR NEEDED. HOTEL FOOD EXCELLANT. October 1, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good location and great staff. The room has mold on the sprinkler in the bathroom and you could hear the people walking upstairs the whole time I was there. I could not sleep well because of that. The water doesn't drain very well in the bath tub either. February 18, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Excessive Noise Our stay was horrible due to unruly people running through the hallways between midnight and 3:30am. Security was notified and appeared several times, however, they failed to stop the erratic behavior of their wayward guests. Noise, yelling, banging on doors and walls. Totally unacceptable! Rated 3 out of 5 by Security I had to call down to the front desk at 3AM to ask for security to come up to my floor because a bunch of drunk people running around knocking doors and screaming at each other. I've thought if the security going around the floors to check after 2AM then disturbed like that wouldn't happen January 2, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by AVERAGE The hotel rooms were not cleaned properly. I had to be moved to a different room before realizing the hotel was just overall gross! Dust & dirt everywhere... ( Heating/Cooling Unit, Windows, behind all doors/closets, LAMPS,etc.) Holes in the sheets Didn't expect this from a room that cost over $200 per night November 11, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Make sure you Check Out I did the express checkout when I stayed here and they hit me for 99.00 extra dollars. They claimed I charged food to the room. I happened to have a lot of cash and intended on using it for the trip. I did NOT charge ANYTHING to the room. Had I not checked out express, I would have seen the bill before it was charged. Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice room, good location...noisy. The room was clean, roomy, lots of outlets, wifi. Staff was responsive and quick. Room was noisy, could hear people upstairs and the hallway which is not good as it is a busy hotel. The place is built oddly, with many of the rooms looking out on the interior roof covered with HVAC equipment which makes more noise. July 8, 2013

Bathroom way too small we had room 2 double beds for 4 adults and bathroom tiny - my 2 6 ft sons just get in toilet/shower room and basin area no space for 4 washbags. Rest room good size. In need repaint in parts overall good. Pity no free wifi in rooms made lobby ridiculousy hectic! August 13, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Service but draw backs THe service here was great and the room very clean and comfortable. There has been a fairly recent renovation and it shows. The only drawback is sound insulation is lacking I had louder guest upstairs and could hear everything in the hall but it quieted down soon enough and it didn't keep me from sleeping well.
