Rated 4 out of 5 by Accessible We stayed in room1636 (quiet), a handicap-accessible room with a roll-in shower. Lowered closet bars and low light switches, very rare. Grab bars are not towel racks tho! Very clean & staff very friendly. Hotel food is wildly overpriced. 2013/05/02

But we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of accommodations, along with very helpful and friendly staff. Only complaint is the wireless internet access is only in the lobby/cafe area. In today's world it should be complimentary in all rooms. Good location, good staff. Would stay again. 2013/04/29
Rated 4 out of 5 by Sheraton April 2013 Stay This is the 3rd time that we have stayed at this hotel. The staff is very professional and attentive. The only issues we had during this stay were (1) the thermostat not working in our room; engineering came out and simply replaced the batteries in the thermostat. (2) there was a power outage in the area when we arrived to check in so this delayed our check in by about 45 minutes and (3) there seems to be a good amount of noise from both outside and inside the hotel. From inside, it seems to be from guest and outside from delivery and loading of trucks (even at 11 PM and again at 6-7 AM). Our room was even on the top floor and there was aconsiderable amount of noise from other rooms. 2013/04/08
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice...but VERY small room All was great...from the staff to the clean room. Quiet corner room was very nice. The only thing was the room was very small...just wish there would have been more space...especially in the bathroom/vanity/closet area. Not much room for it being a 4 star hotel. Great if you're traveling alone...but not for a family. 2013/04/07
Rated 4 out of 5 by Noise level from floor above The walls are thin and all we could hear were the room above us. It seemed as if they were stomping, but I know it was just normal walking. Having kids and being up at midnight isn't ideal having extra noises. I will definitely always ask for the top floor as we could not get any sleep because of that. 2013/04/07
Rated 4 out of 5 by Would stay here again Rooms are small, but clean and nicely decorated. Excellent customer service. Great location. Husband used the fitness center and said they were very good. Didn't get to use it, but outside seating with fire 'pit' looked very relaxing and fun. Only draw back was street noise. 2013/04/07

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Hotel Close to Fisherman's Wharf The staff were very friendly and provided prompt service. Our bellman was great and offered us his help if we needed it. Its' a funky hotel when you walk into it. Rooms are a little small and beds were a bit squeaky. Wished the room had a bar fridge and free wi-fi. Request a courtyard view room. If not, your are either looking at the air conditioning and furnace units or at a storage yard full of busses. Overall though, we enjoyed staying at the hotel. 2013/03/26
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Service but draw backs THe service here was great and the room very clean and comfortable. There has been a fairly recent renovation and it shows. The only drawback is sound insulation is lacking I had louder guest upstairs and could hear everything in the hall but it quieted down soon enough and it didn't keep me from sleeping well. 2013/03/21

Rated 4 out of 5 by Perfect Location The Sheraton Fisherman's Wharf Hotel was perfectly located for my wife and me. We were able to easily get to everything that we wanted (e.g., food, sights, transportation) and we found the hotel staff to be very helpful. If visiting San Francisco again I would gladly stay at this Sheraton. 2013/03/10
Rated 4 out of 5 by Ok all in all We stayed at the Sheraton FW for a seminar being held at another hotel about a five minute walk away. We were lucky enough to get a great room rate and it saved us about $70 per night through the special but.....Parking is pricey, even if you self park. Our bathroom was very small with limited counter space. The sink/vanity area is open to the hallway and room and there's no way to turn on the light in the toilet/shower area without turning on the vanity light. So, if you get up in the middle of the night and need to use the bathroom you risk waking up your spouse with the bathroom light. The structure is a bit older so floors tend to creak and walls seem to be a little thin. We had a heavy footed neighbor directly above us who got up every morning at 4:30am and could also hear the partners returning to their rooms just don the hall. Lastly, the heat/air unit in our room was old and in need of replacement. We had difficulty getting it going and even more trouble trying to shut it off. Overall: the location is great, just a block from Fishermans Wharf, shops and restaurants. Beds are wonderful. Rooms are clean. If you can catch this hotel while they are running a room special its worth it. 2013/03/05

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great hotel for the $$$ If you're looking for an economical place to stay near Fisherman's Wharf - this is a great hotel! The decor and the staff are super friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Request the top floor w/an inside facing room to avoid street noise. This not a "high-end, ritzy property" so adjust your expectations. Great for families who want easy access to all of the tourist stops. We took our 8 year old daughter and loved it! 2013/02/25

Rated 4 out of 5 by Surprisingly nicer than expected We stayed here one night on our way home after staying with my brother south of the city. The hotel was very bright, clean and welcoming. I loved the fire pits outside. I liked that there was no formal bar , rather a small "shop" in the lobby selling snacks and beverages. The breakfast buffet was good and the location was convenient to touristy stuff. They definitely welcomed us as an SPG member and I believe we were set up in a room on the SPG floor. The concierge was nice but not so helpful as was the bellman though they did get us a car service to the airport. The room was fine--lots of outlets for charging electronics, room service was prompt, the bathroom was small but clean. I would stay here again--the price was right. 2013/02/21

Rated 4 out of 5 by transportation phone service attendant I called well ahead of time to schedule a pickup service for 2 guests, from the airport to hotel as well as back again. The information I had been given was incorrect. I also felt very rushed off of the phone, I had to keep interrupting them trying to end the conversation, so I could continue to ask the questions I needed. This caused a lot of confusion and frustration. I had been told a car would be sent to the airport when the guests call from the luggage pickup. This was done by 2 separate guests, on 2 different days. Needless to say, one ended up taking a taxi service to the hotel and the other waited almost 2 hours for a shuttle pickup. Very aggravating on my part, since I thought I had everything planned to the tee. 2013/02/15
