Sheraton LaJolla is a great location to hold a corporate conference or any event for that matter. Exceptional customer service and perfect location. The banquet staff goes above and beyond to predict and accommodate the needs of the group.

My stay here was VERY relaxing. My suite was spacious, well appointed, and quiet. Front Desk service was SPG quality. I even enjoyed walking to the adjacent mall for dinner at a restaurant and picking up snacks for the room.
I did not sample the food and bar services due to their limited holiday schedule.

This is the perfect hotel. Clean and comfortable in the room and the perfect vacation spot next to the pool under the palm trees. Breakfast on site was excellent and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and helpful. Stayed there three times over five years and looking forward to going back again.

The hotel meet my expectations but I was expecting it to be closer to the main center of town. Unfortunately, the reservationist at your 858 central booking did not tell me the correct information. Your people who handle the reservations should be familiar with both the facilities and their locations.

Really surprised to have to pay for parking as a guest. I've stayed at hotels that have conferences where there is parking fees but it was always waived for guests.
Nothing on web site or during reservation regarding parking.
In fact, when I checked in and presented the parking stub I was told, "No problem sir, access and exit to parking areas is now on your room card". That would have been a great time to say that there will still be a daily charge.
I was told it was all spelled out on the sign to the parking lot. I went back and the word "payment" was only on the conference attendees portion. "Validation" was the wording for guests and restaurant patrons. Do you charge parking when someone uses your restaurant?
Whenever I have seen "validation", it means "rates are waived".
Terribly disappointing for an otherwise nice stay. Perfect case of being penny wise and pound foolish as i won't stay there again and will discourage others. This will be lost business you will never realize.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 days while moving our son into college at UCSD and I booked our stay with our AAA membership and chose the Executive Club package. The concierges, especially Jolene, were very helpful and friendly, and our stay was made even better because of their great service.

This was the worst Sheraton I have ever stayed at. The bed was very uncomfortable, the room was either very very hot or very very cold, and it was so noisy!
I could hear the person above showering, talking, using the restroom... It was one of the worst stays at a hotel I have ever had.

I booked that morning site unseen. Expecting a high rise and found a Retro 2 story complex, Courtyard styled. Beautiful lush tropical grounds. Went to the onsite grill and was excited about the menu and the service.
The rooms were modern, clean, beds were great. Definetly going back

Our heater went out and it got very cold.
They did fix it when we called in the morning, but it was quite awkward with them working it the room as they had to replace the entire unit with another one.I feel we should have been offered another room with a working heater.

The Sheraton La Jolla was very easy to find and check in went quickly.The room was extremely comfortable. The king size bed was cozy with soft linens and a mattress that you could snooze away on.I would reccommend this location to anyone visiting La Jolla or the San Diego area.

Hotel was great. Did not like that no elevator to 2nd floor. Restaurant attached to hotel (Humphries) was great as was the karaoke bar (Shooters). Everything worked and good sized flat screen tv. TV guide would be great to have but I guess if you have channel surf you have surf.

The hotel looked very beautiful upon arrival. We were allowed to check in early. We were disappointed with the front desk and don't expect much for being an SPG member unless you are at the platinum level. This hotel was close to the beach, but that about all we liked about it.

Overall a nice hotel but should not be a category 4 maybe a 3 but a 2 would best fit this situation. The room was clean but very small with no private outdoor space connected to the room. Not walkable to any entertainment or outdoor activities. Good location if visiting UCSD.

I stayed at the Sheraton for two days while my daughter moved into UCSD. This was my first time at this location. I was so disappointed. Every piece of equipment in the gym needs replacing or repaired. Rooms need remodeling. The staff was unfriendly and unwilling to help.

I have been staying at the Sheraton La Jolla for three years now, almost four. I love the proximity to UCSD, where my son is in graduate school.
I love that the staff is friendly, responsive, and professional. The rooms are clean and quiet.
Always an enjoyable stay.

We found the reception staff to be very friendly and processed our check in well and made us feel welcome. Once in the room we were contacted via phone to make sure that our room was ok and if we needed anything? Nice room we will stay again when in the area. Sam

The rooms are comfortable and quiet. Internet service is fast and accessible. The breakfast facility works -- Starbucks coffee (including latte etc) and some simple breakfast sandwiches / pastries and wide open space to be able to work./meet. Staff very helpful.

The hotel is very conveniently located near UCSD. It meets all expectations of a Sheraton. I had a minor issue with the reservation (the web site is confusing, so I guess I didn't complete the reservation). The front desk staff was very helpful with the matter.

Hotel and staff recognize SPG members, room upgrade was a pleasant surprise. Wonderful courtyard area w pool, nice dining and lounge facilities. Staff was quick to respond to requests (extra towels, Dvd issue, etc.). Front desk/ check in personnel were great.

We requested a different room and were lied to about the availability of another room. The towels were in shreds. The bed was hard. The front desk staff were incredibly unhelpful. I will not stay here again. We expected so much more staying in La Jolla.

I've stayed in many places like hongkong, jakarta, etc. and this was the most comfortable room that i've stayed in yet. We love the beds, even asked where can i get the same mattress for my home. Very clean, staff very professional and courteous.

great grounds with pool and gym was nice. The room was spacious and had a nice patio but the bathroom was very old and the tub fixtures were falling apart. Had to find room for my toiletry bag on the back of the toilet because there is no vanity.

While this hotel may be in La Jolla, it is on a freeway rather than an ocean.
The part that is like an ocean location is that much of the parking lot it taken up by cargo containers. The staff doesn't know why they are here and they don't care.

I must say that checking in to the hotel was one of the most personable staff we have ever had. Alyssa (front desk) and William the bell hop were so friendly. It really started our stay off right.

The bed and pillows are wonderful but the heater was old and very loud. In fact so loud that I had to turn the tv up every time the heater started up. The wing of the hotel I stayed in was very outdated and felt lonesome and creepy

Didn't like the phone call at 8:45pm asking if our stay was going OK. We were asleep.
Service in Restraurant was very slow and it was not busy. I have stayed at just as nice hotels that didn't charge for parking and for breakfast.

Our first trip to La Jolla and San Diego. A very nicely maintained property with super friendly staff. A little noisy as quite a few young people partying but this was taken care of fairly quickly. Great location.

Needs a little work on the shower and tub. the floor of the shower, tub was warped. Would love loved a better view, but that was okay. location was good. Add non dairy creamer for coffee, or soy for cereal!

I applaud this hotel staff for excellent attention and helpfulness to guests. From the maintenance persons to the manager, they are present and responsive to any situations where guests may need help!
