Rated 5 out of 5 by A wonderful place to stay This hotel is excellent...need I say anymore? The quality is very evident from the moment you are greeted by the staff and walk in. Facilities are really great (Gym, Spa, Pool etc). The gym has some state of the art equipment. Rooms are very comfortable with small kitchenette /bar. The views across the plains to the snow capped mountains are very compelling. Club lounge has to be one of the best we have used . Location is ideal with 5/10 min walk to Metro that takes you all across Madrid. Visited twice now and just booked a 3rd trip .....Fantasico May 9, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great value I have stayed at this hotel on three or four occasions and I believe it to be one of the best hotels in Madrid for value for money. But this trip was not great, check n ok but room did not feel really ready. it was fine but no mouth wash etc. lounge was ok but felt unwelcoming, dirty tables left uncleared and only a sort of visiting member of staff. Quite different from how it was before. The shuttle to the airport is still great and is only a 20 minute trip. I will stay here again, based on my previous stays, rather than this on. The overall property is good but it is really far from the city center and there is not much around this, including eating places since it is in a residential area. The staff was very good and helpful in recommending places to visit. The club lounge facility could be better for the Platinum members, comparing against some properties that we stayed in Spain during our vacation. July 27, 2014

I asked for a room with a view, and was given this room on my second night - room was spacious and nice What needs to be improved - food quality was poor - was the worst internet of any of the 25+ SPG properties I have stayed at - Can't believe that they charge 3 Euros to send an empty plate to my room - maybe it was just my room, but the TV remote didn't work - first hotel I been to where access to the SPA is not a part of every room rate - and the SPA was not great. very smelly and not at all refreshing.. Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic hotel in a nice neighborhood. I stay here each time I visit Madrid because of the quality of the hotel & staff. Excellent service, location & amenities. You are only a 15 minute ride from MAD to the hotel via a free shuttle service provided by the hotel. The hotel is in an upscale neighborhood just outside of the city center (Estadio Santiago Bernabéu is a 9-12 Euro taxi ride). Well worth the taxi fare when compared to 400eu per night in Madrid proper for a much smaller room. The hotel is Bright & CLEAN and the SPG club is outstanding. July 10, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by A very warm welcome I much enjoyed my short stay at this hotel. The friendly welcome at the front desk was excellent and the young lady in the executive lounge went out of her way to help me. The lounge seems to supply unlimited refreshments, including a good local beer. Platinum recognition could not be faulted - a superb large suite, with good-sized area for work. Tip: This hotel is several miles out of town - try the train from Ramon y Caja into the centre as well as the metro November 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Thank You for a Great Stay in Madrid I want to thank the staff at Sheraton Mirasierra for making my stay a very pleasant one! It started prior to my visit when I requested for pick-up from the airport on the hotel shuttle, I got a response within the hour confirming my pick-up. My flight arrival time was not correctly stated but the shuttle was there to pick me up within 15 mins. The front desk staff was most helpful assisting me inquire about a football match the following day and calling to advise me. Dinner at the restaurant on the first night was very good with option of Japanese and local Madrista fare. Club lounge serves breakfast and snacks daily and staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is about 5 mins walk from Metro and I was able to get around quite effortlessly. Thank you once again for making my stay in Madrid a wonderful one. I hope to visit again. December 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Stay This was a delightful stay and we wish we had more time here. While we wish we had researched how to use the shuttle service from the airport (a taxi was Euro 35) the hotel itself was wonderful. Kaspar at check in was very professional and kind. The whole staff was attentive and warm. The rooms are huge and atmosphere is relaxing. We loved the Happy Hour and the restaurant was incredible. Awesome sushi and the best hotel restaurant we have experienced. November 6, 2013

Really a shame, because the hotel and facilities are excellent. They need to seriously upgrade their internet service in-room. So, if you don't need to work, enjoy it. If you need to work, careful! Rated 5 out of 5 by All excellent Below are the strongest points: 1) Very polite and professional staff; 2) Very good infrastructure (especially gym); 3) Good connections with the center of Madrid (public transport and by car); 4) Well equipped Executive Lounge (aka Sheraton Club); 5) Very good SPG recogniction (upgrade to the best available room, welcome note from the general manager etc.). Rated 5 out of 5 by I am now a Sheraton convert! My family and I recently stayed at this Sheraton, after I took ill on a business trip. This might be the best run hotel I have ever stayed in! The room was first rate, the breakfast buffet always fresh, and the hotel staff was always so attentive and friendly. It has made me a Sheraton convert, and I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Madrid. Congratulations to Sheraton for having such a well-run hotel. December 18, 2012

Yes it's not in the center but that also give it the advantage of making it in a quite relaxed area and not so crowded and noise at the outside. The service is great everyone is so nice and they also gave me an amazing room which wasn't expected at all. Next time in Madrid is back in the Sheraton Madrid Mirasierra Hotel & Spa for sure. Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice residential hotel This hotel has been operated since 9 years here in Madrid, but since this Monday, 16th April 2012, becomes Sheraton. When I made a reservations, some confusion between the SPG and old reservation system, finally looks work properly. They recognized me as Platinum and upgraded properly. all of he rooms of this hotel are very large and the location is also good, between Madrid Airport and centre of Madrid. This hotel might be a usual place when I make a biz trip to Madrid. April 22, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great staff Our stay was was very enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got great suggestions for day trips. We were upgraded to very nice executive suite which made our stay very comfortable. The club room offered lots of different food and good selection of alcohol. The pool area is beautiful. A very nice experience and great location to take day trips from because it's not in the middle of hectic downtown August 1, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by Air Conditioning I think it's absurd and very embarrassing to the Manager of the hotel, did not leave the air conditioner running on May 11. It was a day of very hot in Madrid and no hotel room had air conditioning running. At the time I was complaining to him he said he could do nothing to resolve the situation, except to change the room. It was 2:00 a.m. and the manager wanted me to transfer all my belongings and obviously I would have to devote at least an hour of my time, however, it do any good because the air conditioning did not work in all premises. I had to sleep with the windows open, but as these windows can not open by iteiro, I had to sleep with a lot of discomfort, a lot of heat. May 19, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful Room, but a few things didn't match I was excited when I booked this stay since I've been traveling around the world for 5 months and was looking forward to using the gym, and enjoying services in a full scale hotel. Checking into the room was nice and easy, staff were polite, but I found the most ridiculous disappointments with a hotel of this standard to have. Firstly, to charge me to use the fitness center is beyond absurd. I booked this hotel specifically to relax, and enjoy a workout with a swim afterwards. To be told that I had to pay $25 to use the gym was a complete shock. Secondly to this, to charge for WiFi in the room again, another $25 is absolutely ridiculous. Hostels even give WiFi for free, it's 2014 after all. Finally, no continental breakfast was offer, and again, another charge of around $25 to have breakfast was again disappointing. While the room was beautiful, spacious, and offered an amazing quality of sleep, the bad taste left by being charged for services that should be complimentary was quite a shame in my experience. The pickup from the airport was great, as well as luggage stowage, both services that should be standard, and thankfully were. I will be back with reset expectations of what is included next time around. August 6, 2014

Food in the hotel was really good. So bad that we stay just for one day because we passing by, but it was worth it. Thanks to everyone, we finish our trip in a excellent way. July 25, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by Letdown Our stay was spoilt on the last night by the Concierge responding sarcastically to my wife.He is in the hospitality industry and should be hospitable and polite. Felt the staff generally couldn't care less and would not hurry back. The lounge staff were friendly and helpful but the restaurant staff were disinterested as were the pool staff. All in all a very disappointing experience July 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Staff, spa and restaurant exceeded all expectations I was particularly impressed with the personalized helpfulness of the staff, which was wonderful. We were there on a city holiday, so many of the pharmacies were closed, and we needed some medication. The staff arranged to drive us to the one 24 hour pharmacy that was open and to wait while we got what we needed. They definitely went above and beyond for us. Also the hotel restaurant was surprisingly good for dinner and featured a very good sushi and Japanese dining opportunity in a lovely outdoor patio rooftop setting. We just wished we had more time to use the spa facilities. May 17, 2014
