Rated 2 out of 5 by Unfortunate but sincere feedback I am in OKC downtown at least once a month. My first two choices were booked so I made a reservation at the Sheraton. The room was very expensive at almost $400. I checked in at 6 pm. I found the chair in the room to have some funky stain on it - not even going to guess and the tv didn't work. I called the operator and let the front desk know immediately about the TV. I then went to diner however when I returned the TV still didn't work. I was tired so I went to bed. When I checked out I let the front desk know that the TV still didn't work and they thanked me for letting them know. Is this a deal buster? No. But this hotel isn't my number 3 in downtown OKC. Rated 4 out of 5 by waiting at the bar this is a great property. front desk, club, house keeping and bell stand staff have always been super and anticipated every move and need. they are why i keep coming back. but the bar is another story. this trip, it took over six minutes (when i started timing) to get acknowledged at the bar to place a drink and food order. there were at least four peeps working, walking past where i was sitting. not even a "hi!". i was just about to leave when i was asked if i needed anything......this has happened every time i've been there. i'm not ugly & don't smell bad. pretty normal. i will stay here again, but i will have outside food delivered. stop being friends with each other, and take care of the guests. Rated 5 out of 5 by Hotel staff is great but bard and parking is another thing Hotel staff is great. Very helpful. Bar needs another waitress. Had to repeatedly ask for a drink at the table and very slow service. Took our order and never seen for 20 minutes Parking needs to be improved. Hotel uses public parking and unless we take pass from the hotel for 10 dollars, every time you leave you end up paying. There is no attendant during night time and did not know that I can use hotel pass in the pay machine. Hotel needs to provide more information on parking. Valet is provided but very expensive. 25 dollars per day, seriously? It is what I pay in DC or other major metropolitan areas and not in OKC. May 6, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Great experience at Check in My Platinum status was recognized at check in. I asked for an upgrade. Natalie at the front desk worked hard to find me a suite. It turned out to be an excellent room that was very roomy. I needed the extra room because I had several family members staying at the hotel for college graduation...and this allowed us to meet in a central area to visit and celebrate. Thank you Natalie. Rated 1 out of 5 by Big Disappointment The hotel has a beautiful restaurant and is advertised as open for breakfast and dinner. Not so, hope you like eating in the bar. I don't, too public and too noisy. Very limited menu although the food was pretty good. Hard to imagine a smaller bathroom and still be able to have the required fixtures. No waste basket was strange and inconvenient. Reaching the toilet paper provides you plenty of stretching exercise. The H-Vac system made all sorts of noises even when the blower wasn't on. Now let's move over to the bed, not only was there food on the comforter from a previous guest, the sheets were too small for the bed and were constantly bunching up. And then there is the door that had a 3 inch gap at the bottom which not only let light shine in your eyes when trying to sleep every little noise in the hallway was heard in the guest room. Rated 3 out of 5 by Weekend Stay The overall experience was fine with the exception of the fact that my reservation was for a king size bed. When we checked in, the room had 2 double beds. I called the front desk at approximatley 4:30 pm and they didn't have any king size beds available in rooms that were cleaned and ready for check in. I was very disappointed, as the double beds are to small for an adult couple to really sleep comfortably. It did seem like the cleaning crew was very slow in getting the rooms ready daily. Rated 2 out of 5 by Beautiful but noisy I've stayed here before and don't remeber having issues with the noise. The toilets seem to be a new addition and are scary loud! You literally hear them flushing up and down the floor ALL night. The walls are very thin. We could not sleep from about 4am on. The hotel room is clean and comfortable but you better bring some heavy duty earplugs. May 6, 2013
