I'm currently interviewing in many different states and have spent my fair share of time in hotels recently. I was very pleased with the efficiency of staff at check-in, their food and tourist recommendations and the cleanliness of the rooms and lobby and other shared facilities. I would definitely stay in this hotel again if I was in the area!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! The guest service people always went above and beyond with any requests. The complimentary shuttle was always on time to bring me to my meeting and even dropped me off and picked me up for dinner one night! The beds are comfortable and rooms are well furnished! I would absolutely stay here again!

This hotel seemed far removed from the UNC campus, though I realize it really wasn't. After a long day of travel, there was a little glitch with an issue of keys not opening the door. Also, newspapers and paper products were piled up and not removed from the room - there was not a recycle notice. Having Shula's on site was a benefit.

Our usual hotels in Chapel Hill were booked for a popular weekend so we gave this a try and were glad we did. Location is 5 minutes to Franklin St. The room was pleasantly decorated, white duvet and good sheets.The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean but was the tub/shower type. Overall, a great place to stay!

We travel to Chapel Hill a few times a year and always stay at this Sheraton.The staff is pleasant and helpful. The rooms are spotless and the bedding, pillows, etc. are among the most comfortable you will ever encounter. Only minutes from the UNC campus, shopping malls and major roads to most attractions. Highly recommended.

Very good stay! However, please make the entrance to the hotel a little warmer. It's like entering a long bowling alley. It needs some decorations or flowers,
It needs a greeter when you pull up in a cab.
Restaurant too expensive for breakfast and dinner for the guest staying several days.
Shuttle service appreciated.

Horrible experience at Shula's resturant. It was recommended by hotel staff; however, the service was horrible and we left after only having drinks. It was unknown when or if our meal was ever going to arrive. Once informed, the management was appropriately concerned. On a positive note, the breakfast was wonderful.

Older couple found a place that was comfortable, and made our frequent journeys to Chapel Hill for medical issues less overwhelming. The Staff was always courteous and helpful, the rooms and bath perfect in every way.
Pet friendly, this hotel stands out for its consistent outstanding customer service and comfort.

This time I want to give a special thanks to Mr. Rex, the Restaurant Manager, for his kindness in helping me get some fruits because in the next day I wolud start my day very early. thank you Mr. Rex, you have offered me an excellent attention!

I had a 6:30 am meeting. The 4th floor club did not have oatmeal, nor was it stocked before 6:30 am. The restaurant was not open, and room service could not deliver. I started my long day of meetings with one yoghurt in my belly. Not good.

For a 4-star hotel, I was disappointed that the room did not have a small refrigerator. After eating at the Cheesecake Factory, we brought leftovers into our room; however, we tossed them out due to lack of refrigeration. Also, the room was rather small for the four of us, and the room lacked adequate lighting.

I stayed at this Hotel for Business. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
The Buffet Breakfast was economical and food was delicious. A variety of foods. The staff were courteous and helpful.
I was usually in a hurry and they were very cooperative in offering assistance to help me get where I needed to be.

Overall, the parts of the room where I was located were clean. Yet, there was a large wine stain on the bed skirt. Also, it was obvious that around the chair had not been vacuumed as there were large pieces of food/dirt behind and around it.
The staff was great and the room was very comfortable otherwise.

This hotel has excellent staff, club rooms very nice. Housekeeping very accommodating but the bathrooms have literally no place to hang towels. We stayed one night in a regular room and the towels were in the closet! Club floor rooms are a bit better, but not much. Should have refrigerator in all rooms.

I experienced continuous problems with the air conditioning in my room. It was very sticky and muggy the entire time I stayed. Maintenance came up several times but was unable to fix the problem. The meeting rooms for my conference were great and the staff were pleasant and willing to assist.

Check-in was quick, breakfast was reasonably priced, (Most hotels including most of your branches charge an unbelievable high-price for breakfast this hotel was very reasonable) the room was very comfortable, A few more channels could be available: but I know you SPG uses a non-cable provider

I stay in Sheraton hotels almost exclusively, in the US and overseas, so I understand what the standard is for the Sheraton brand. This hotel falls short of that standard. The lobby area is very nice and the room's furniture is nice. However, I was surprised to find that only 12 of the 168 rooms had a refrigerator, an amenity that is normal to find in any Sheraton room. I was in an SPG room and it did not have a refrigerator, which I needed to store medication. I called the front desk and was told I would receive a call back. I never did. The sheet on the bed had holes. The rod for pulling back the curtain was missing and the curtain did not slide back at all on one side. I asked at the front desk what differentiates an SPG room from a standard room and was told the inclusion of a loofa sponge sets an SPG room apart from the others. On a positive note, the young woman at the front desk, Holly, was very pleasant and helpful about area recommendations. I would not stay at this hotel in the future.

So helpful staffs. The room is well decorated , clean, and the beds are so comfortable. What we love the most is the club lounge which provides 24 hr soft drink, coffee, and fruits. Breakfasts are plenty though we would love to have an addition of salad.
Would definitely come back again.

Really enjoy this hotel, it is hard to find a good place to stay in Chapel Hill and this is our choice when we visit. We got a Peferred Starwood room with view of pool and balcony. Really like that! The only comment i have is the grout in the bathroom had significant mildew around it.

This hotel is well located near both Chapel Hill/UNC and Durham/Duke. This is a plus if you need to go both places. Minor problems-Stayed 2 nights coffee was not replaced. The physical plant is getting a bit long in the tooth.
Front desk staff was helpful. Free wifi is a plus.

Sandi at Front desk was excellent at helping me arrange for a shuttle to pick me up after my late arrival - she booked car - followed up with me to confirm I had all the details and checked in to ensure all had gone well and if I needed assistance for return service. -- Outstanding!!!!

The entire staff at this hotel were very friendly and accommodating. Conveniently located between the main routes and Franklin Street, this hotel is clean and relaxing with a modern decor. We travel to Chapel Hill at least twice a year and always look forward to our stay at this hotel.

The shuttle driver was most EXCELLENT, helpful, cooperative . He is a great asset to the company.
Check in was extremely slow due to computer glitch, however the person checking me in , gave me a $10 credit for the wait. Great idea to empower employees to make "on the spot" decisions.

My husband and dog travel with me and this hotel was very pet friendly with rooms on the first floor with no elevator use to scare my dog. Had some loud tenants but was quietened down quickly without me having to complain.
Enjoyed our stay.

Although our overal experience with this hotel was average/above average, we had to wait over an hour and 15 minutes to check in because our room was not cleaned before our 3:00pm check-in time. The staff did provide vouchers for free breakfast because we had to wait so long.

My stay at the Sheraton was, as always, very enjoyable, particularly because the staff is very friendly and efficient, the rooms are attractive and comfortable, and the atmosphere and layout provide a relaxing environment. The buffet breakfast was elegant and delicious.

Nice rooms, comfortable beds, great food from bar. I don't like the fact that you have to load in the front and park in the back. You can't use the cart unless you load and unload at the front!
It's hard to get in and out of the hotel also.
I would recommend the hotel!

This is our favorite hotel in the Chapel Hill/Durham area. Clean and comfortable and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Restaurant serves quality and delicious meals. Unique "living roof" allows for a serene outside experience.
