After dealing with over six hours of flight delays, I finally arrived to the hotel at 4:00 AM. Since I had to wake up just a few hours later, I was in no mood for less than perfection. I stay at this hotel regularly, and the night staff member (Chris) saw me walk in and already had my keys in his hand. When I arrived to my room, they had already given me my Green Choice award, since they know that I elect for it every week. It was truly a feeling of arriving home after a long day of difficulties.

I really enjoyed my stay! Starting with Sandee E. at the front desk! Because it was our anniversary she gave us free breakfast, the room was nice did need a few inprovments but nuthing too major, great sleep as always in the sweet sleeper, at breakfast we were not greeted upon our arrival at about 9 am I asked what our free breakfast consisted of and the waitress just says every thin as she points to the buffet so it wasn't made clear that I could have ordered from the menu which I probably would have enjoyed much more, but the guy that made my husband omlet was really nice, not sure of his name (tall heavy set black man) he really turned our breakfast expierence around. And check out was a breez.

The hotel itself is a really nice Sheraton with excellent employees and amenities.
What I found the best was how helpful everyone was - especially Sam, the van driver, who was very courteous and on time. Thank you Sam!!

The hotel looks old and even on the club floors, the hallway is kinda dark. Inside the room, the use of white light makes it look very old and furniture may need some renew. The bathroom is ok though.

I really have enjoyed staying at the Sheraton Chapel Hill for business. Staff is first-rate, facilities are just fine. Just one gripe: the hotel wi-fi speed is too slow. Nowadays other comparable hotels are hitting 30+ Mbps download speeds, and (I measured it on speedof.me, several times) the in-room wi-fi speeds here are barely hitting 0.5 Mbps most of the time--and this was with the higher-speed, so-called 5.0 Mbps service in place. Things were a _little_ faster when I tried at 5:00 AM (i.e., everyone else asleep), but not by much. At these speeds, FaceTime-type apps just don't work, and for many travelers, that's a key way to stay in touch with home. I hope to see this improved soon.

Upon arrival, one of the beds in my room was dirty. There were stains on the comforter (not easily visible as it was a section neatly folded underneath a pillow area). There were also stray hairs within the sheets. I also found an empty medication bottle near the nightstand. The front desk clerk (I believe his name was Chris) was very apologetic and responsive. He relocated us immediately (even brought the new room keys to me) and, extended coupons for 2 complimentary breakfasts' the next morning. The response was wonderful. The room condition was less than stellar.
