This hotel is very good, great features and very friendly staff. The only downside is the size of the rooms. We stayed in the south tower and the rooms are so tiny. The bathroom is very small. I literally tripped over the toilet getting out of the shower. There is no space there at all. Two people can not use the bathroom mirror at the same time.
The Club Lounge is great, we spent our time in there because the room was so small.
Restaurant service very slow. i had to find the waiter to take my payment so I could leave.

I stayed at the Sheraton Atlanta for the first time and I was disappointed with my two-night stay. I was on a business trip and was surprised to learn there was a charge for WiFi in the room. I was in Atlanta on a business trip and most hotels that cater to businesses offer Internet service for free, in my experience.
Maintenance could improve. The drain in the washroom sink was clogged and drained very slowly. My colleague said the toilet didn't flush properly in his room.

I checked into room 232 initially and found the toilet and refridgerator were dirty, so I called the front desk to report the matter. I was placed on hold for ten minutes and assumed I had been disconnected. I called again and was again placed on hold. When I was finally able to describe the condition of the room, she said she would move me to another room but had to help the guests in front of her and she would have to call me back. Once we did find another room, fortunately on the same floor, I entered eager to sleep. While this room seemed cleaner, I found dental picks on the floor next to a chair. I was too tired to move again, so I just stayed there. It has been a long time since I stayed at Sheraton, but I remembered it more favorably.

I have stayed here on business travel over the past several years, and this hotel and its staff just keep getting better and better. From the friendly and attentive staff in the hotel and restaurants and bar, to the comfortable rooms, to the great workout facility and awesome indoor swimming pool and hot tub in a beautiful, natural atrium environment with retractable roof to bring in the outside when appropriate. A great place for business or leisure. My colleagues and I love it! You'll love it, too! And, the high quality of the food and beverages at Fandangles inside the hotel is a real treat.

I just really get tired of SPG benefits that tout Upgrade to Best Available room, including suites* for Platinum members but the hotels rarely, if ever, make this a reality.
The shame of it is, the Sheraton Atlanta has the most professional and highly trained hotel staff in America.
I spend 50+ nights/yr in SPG properties and I do expect the loyalty to flow both ways. Sadly it does not at this property.

Not knowing what to expect when we got there it was a nice experience. They were first class at check in and it was a nice room. Breakfast at Collage (in the hotel) was wonderful. Our server was fantastic, and the omelets (made to order) were simply fantastic. Overall it was a really good experience.

The food was excellent and the staff was incredibly friendly. Noise was a factor in the rooms as there was no background noise (e.g., fan) to drown out people in adjacent rooms or walking down the hallway.
