Rated 4 out of 5 by pthshead Great custormer service
The custormer service at the Sheraton Atlanta was excellent! They were helpful, addressed me correctly by my name which can be difficult to pronounce. The only negative is that the hotel needs to be renovated. It was clean but old and smelled old. Otherwise great stay!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Norcalfamily Club Floor lounge was the best!
We often enjoy staying on the Club Floor for the additional amenities. The staff was truly hospitable and the ample food selection was fresh and nicely prepared. The hotel is a close drive to downtown and Little Five Points. The air conditioner was quiet, which is a plus!

Rated 4 out of 5 by OAH80 travel from garage to hotel lobby
The only issue I had with my hotel stay is travelling from the parking garage to the hotel lobby. There should be a safe area or a breezeway for hotel guests to travel from the parking garage to the hotel lobby. Luckily noone was hurt by a passing vehicle.

I thought this room would be awesome!! However, for the price we paid, there was no refrigerator, and they wanted to charge for wifi. I felt that the price was entirely to pricey!! The staff was very friendly and always willing to help. Just need to change a few things

I can't believe how the staff went out of their way to greet you and handle concerns we had about our room when we arrived. Everyone seemed to be genuinely interested when addressing you and not just trying to look good. I would stay here again simply for that reason.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Tnflaman Good Place To Stay
This was our first time to stay in Atlanta downtown in several years so we didn't know what to expect. The city is still a "city" however the hotel and staff presented a nice break from the challenges of staying in a downtown hotel. Very friendly staff treated us like VIP guests and the rooms were comfortable. We were there on a Sunday and the noise level was acceptable, but I do think that during a busy time, it may be an issues, however, this is likely true in most hotels due to inconsiderate people. The only thing that I did not like about the hotel is the parking. Relatively expensive valet parking fees cause me to self park in most large hotels. When self parking one should expect a considerable walk once the car is parked, and I consider it a possilby unsafe one. The concierge staff was very friendly. It should be noted also that a bellman named Aaron was extremely nice and helpful to us with any assistance or information that we needed. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay in the area.

The room was lovely overall. Akward layout with the south tower and accessing it past the meeting space. Food and service was good overall. Pizza was mediocre. Staff were very helpful and courteous.

Rated 5 out of 5 by FullHouse Excellent location and service
In Atlanta for a quick business trip. The hotel was clean, great location and service was excellent. I would suggest that everyone pay the extra $7 for valet parking. The self-parking was a bit odd to access the hotel. I switched to valet with no problem.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Antonio Sheraton Atlanta staff are the best!
We paid a return visit to this property over the Labor Day weekend. Dragon*Con was underway, and the staff went out of their way to roll out the welcome wagon. We were upgraded to a corner suite in the south tower, with easy access to the nicely renovated SPG lounge.
Shirley went out of her way to be of assistance, ensuring that lounge was impeccable and the guests were well taken care of. We have been regulars for 5 years, and honestly, I don't know how she does it? Shirley is an amazing bundle of energy, welcoming visitors with a warm smile. Each day, I looked forward to seeing her again!
Some other things you may want to know about this property:
- the pool and exercise area includes a complimentary laundromat, and the hotel even provides complimentary detergent!
- the hotel has 2 banks of elevators (one per tower), which minimizes wait times;
- the air conditioning in the hotel is up to the challenge of Atlanta's humid summers!
I recommend this property because its staff are the best! A good day begins by meeting Shirley!

Rated 4 out of 5 by jt0430 Great stay at the Atlanta Sheraton
Room was great,, but it took me a few days to get used to the city traffic noise. Food was ok. Pool was great. Gym at the hotel needs some work (could not find the mens locker room- is there one?) Overall a great experience in a great hotel in a great city.

I had a terrible experience at your hotel. I was given a room on 5th floor, the window was blocked by a metal unit. I felt like I was boxed in a cage. However, I was given another room on a higher floor the view was great. Floor/carpet was not very clean.

This was one of the best City hotels I have stayed at with excellent facilities and service. Nothing was too much trouble even opening the pool roof to catch some sun. It's location is ideal, downtown for day and night entertainment.

Despite advanced reservation and being a Starwood Preferred Guest, we did not get the room we reserved, the only response from the front desk staff was "I do apologize" so we had to be in a room that failed to meet our during our entire stay.

Self parking and having to walk 3/4 mile to get to the Front Desk is TERRIBLE. It totally sucks, I would not recommend this hotel.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SJR22 Downtown hotel with a resort feel
This property is in Downtown Atlanta, but with its pool and garden and "awning" reception area it has a nice resort feel in an urban setting. Very nice staff.

Rated 3 out of 5 by kerryphd Not what I expected
Check in was horrible. The woman kept repeating the wrong last name and said she couldn't find my reservation. I kept correcting her and she didn't pay attention. So I showed her my ID. Finally found my reservation and she said they overbooked king rooms so I was stuck with a double bed, really far away from the conference area.
The room was spacious but the bed was awful. It was like sleeping on a piece of plywood. Only good thing was the pillows and shower and that there was a fridge in the room.
The staff (minus the check in woman) were super friendly as could be expected in the South. The restaurants were just ok. They really should have Collage open all day, as the food is good and reasonable. Fandangles was not reasonable or tasty.
Overall, my least favorite part was the layout of this hotel and the neighborhood (it's very shady). The layout was terrible. I had to walk from my 5 day conference through the deli, through the courtyard/pool area, around a corner down a long hallway to get to my room. Even though the pool was nice it was a long corridor and trying to get anywhere in the hotel required this long long route.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Path57 Excellent Location Old Tired Buildling
While the location was excellent, very close to the World Congress Center, the hotel is old and tired. The services were excellent and the room was clean, however, the room itself was small and inconvenient. For the price, not worth it.

Overall, a pleasant stay. I highly recommend using valet parking - the walk from the parking garage is nightmarish! The staff was great and very helpful with directions. The rooms are "okay" - just not what I normally see for the price.

Very good hotel. The room is very cosy and clean, with a very confortable bed. Hotel employes are super attentious. The bathtub is weird, is just too little water in it. Food is a little expensive too, despite of being delicious.

The porter who helped me check in was very nice. He noticed my concern about the location of my room, and made sure I moved to a higher level. Very nice
It was very hard to have access to car if needed, which was needed at times

This hotel has a great location. We were able to walk to all of our destinations. The atrium view rooms are awesome. The only thing holding this hotel from being excellent is no king beds in atrium veiw rooms and mini fridges.

Rated 1 out of 5 by jan65 attack attempt by another guest dog
I was not told that animals were in the hotel or that it was an animal friendly hotel. My husband and I were leaving the room on the way to a Banquet, when another quest pit bull emerged from his room at full stance growling and barking at me. My husband jumped in front of me and the owner got the dog back in his room. The incident was reported but the dog was ther all night . This was Sat. night no one even made an effort to see if I was ok or anything until I recieved a call upon arriving home on Monday night. I was told the dog was removed that night, which was not true, that I would recieve an email from management which has not happened and that I would be given one night off my bill. It is not the money so much as the inhumanity that has taken place. I could have had a heart attack, or been alergick to animals. That night after reporting this to management I attended this banquet but found that my nervice system had gone haywire and could not eat. It is the principle of the entire handling of the incident, I feel this hotel should be much higher than this.
