Rated 2 out of 5 by issues I had a problem with noise from my first room, was moved to another room after the first night. However, there was inconsistency with registration staff. I was told to go to my meeting, pack my bags and come to the front desk for the key to my new room when the meeting was over for the day. When I returned no one knew anything about it, my bag was still in my old room - I left the key when I left for the meeting. I was given a new key told to go to the old room, call the operater and let her know that I need a new room. When I got back to the old room, the key would not work and I had to go back to the desk. Another staff gave me a new room and had my bags brought to me. August 8, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by August 2013 Stay The staff is extremely knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. For the price, the room was just average and a little disappointing. Did not know there was a newer tower of rooms and no one offered that information. I was also disappointed that Internet access in the room was not included in the price of the room which was by no means low. August 7, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Be Aware I booked the Sheraton based on location because I was told by the hotel staff when inquiring the hotel was a half a mile away from the GA Dome. We were going to walk to and from the concert. Upon arriving we found out it is 2 miles from the Dome, so we had to take a taxi. Disappointed that we were told otherwise. I also booked a king room with a city view, which was specifically stated on my confirmation reservation. Upon check in the lady said they were all booked up and only had double bed rooms available. I was very unhappy, when you book your stay with a hotel you expect to receive the room you booked not something else. Why was my room given to someone else when I had a reservation? She said it was on a first come, first serve basis. So when you book you aren't guaranteed to get what you pay for. That is crap and a guest should get the room they specifically booked. I'm not a happy customer. August 5, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Need Improved Technology I am required to submit an itemized menu with each meal receipt. In my experience, the front office at many hotels can easily pull up an itemized electronic copy of anything charged to my room. However, upon check-out when I asked for a detailed copy of my dinner receipt, the attendee had to manually sift through the actual receipts from that night. While I could understand her frustration, she very clearly was not happy with the task and was extremely slow and somewhat unpleasant throughout the process. July 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Staff Been comimg to Atlanta a few times per year for 20 years. There are taller, newer, and maybe "better location" properties downtown but you will not find a better staff---from the valet parking attendant, to the front desk, housekeeping, gift shop, maintenance (yes, even the guys in maintenance stop to say good morning!) and Club Lounge staff. All indications of a well managed property. My expectations for this Sheraton are always high and they are always met. July 24, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Truly remarkable! Bravo!! There is something magical going on at the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel. Truly surprising levels of unusual over-achievement across the board! The staff (all of the staff!) are genuinely friendly and seek to be helpful. The restaurant is shockingly great. The amenities, facilities, rooms are top flight. Kudos to the leadership for establishing a culture where excellence is palpable across the board, in every corner, among each and every staff member. Consistently across three recent stays, this has been among the most sensational hotel visits of my 25+ year career! July 19, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent customer service, decent location As a Gold SPG member with a Club room booked, I was greeted with such warm welcome. The front desk rep gave me just the right amount of information about the hotel given it was my first stay. Supervisor greeted me thanking me for my stay there and even received a welcome stay gift. Even the valet and bus boys were super nice and welcoming! Made my stay 3x more pleasant. July 19, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by AC did not work and room did not get cleaned My room only got cleaned one time, after I fussed. We got clean towels and beds made each day and that was all. My stale coffee stayed in a cup for three days, and our bathroom was not touched, trash was not removed, even empty coffee packaging. We had to ask for everything. Our ac only worked one night after I called repeatedly for it to be fixed. We were on a business trip and missed out on sleep due to a hot room. The maintenance man came and it was due to a 'dirty' filter. All staff were good and helpful especially the restaurant and food was good. July 15, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not Impressed With Atlanta being a hub with many people traveling through my expectations of a Sheraton were not met. The hotel is dirty. Everything from the elevators, floors, garage and rooms. The hotel bar and restaurant was its only saving grace and it was due to the outstanding wait staff. The management of the bar missed the mark on their own and had to be convinced to do the right thing, which was more than obvious. July 15, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Everything was wonderful except... We had a wonderful time during our stay at your hotel. The staff was lovely! We truly had above and beyond service from Gail and especially Tanya in the restaurant. She was truly amazing! Our only issue was when we had trouble with a noisy neighbor at 1am and had to call 3 times to finally get someone to try to handle the situation. Extreme loudness and the smell of marijuana reeking from their room was more than unpleasant and lack of sleep caused us some trouble with our business the following day. July 15, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Very old and unclean The rooms were incredibly old and dirty. There was hair in the bath tub, dust on the bureau and tables. The room smelled musty. Everything looked and felt dirty. The restaurant was good and the hotel staff was very nice. There wasn't a mini bar and in-room amenities were scarce. This hotel needs to be completely renovated. The manager on duty Friday, June 21st, I cannot remember his name, but he was a Caucasian man with dark curly hair. He got off duty at 9am that day of our check out, he was also awesome! The food was great, my room was clean and comfortable, and the service unrivaled. The staff was incredibly friendly as well as knowledgeable and helpful. The GM is a gem who truly cares about each guest's experience. Highly recommend this hotel. June 24, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Staff Especially Derrick! Had and excellent stay here. The entire staff was great! But I must say that the bellman Derrick went beyond the usual with making us feel welcome. Thank you Derrick! The valet staff was very prompt and professional as well. Everyone we met that works there has a great attitude towards the customer. We will stay here again. June 23, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by 1st stay Everything was very clean and comfortable. There are a few things that I would have liked. The bellman said he was going to bring us another luggage rack and never did but he did let us know where the nearest cvs was. I also called the front desk and advised that we would like to participate in the spg green program and we didn't need housekeeping services but we didn't get the 1000 pts. We just enrolled in the program at the hotel. We also went to The restaurant Flagnan(not sure of the spelling) 10 mins before closing for an appetizer and asked before we sat down and they said they would serve us but after 13 mins we asked the waitress and she said the kitchen closed. The hotel and pool area are Absolutely beautiful! June 20, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fantastic staff This was the friendliest staffs ever. Koodos to one of the concierges, I wish I had gotten his name. Always greeting guests with a smile, willing to help, and overall just happy with life. The rest of the staff was also always kind, but I feel this man deserves mentioning. You can't miss him, he is short, African American, skinny, and in his 50's. He was the best. June 19, 2013
