Rated 3 out of 5 by Club Lounge not worth extra expense Good location, great staff attentiveness, room very comfortable. But, I paid the extra fee per day for the Club Lounge breakfast and appetizers; we were NOT satisfied with this! The breakfast was little more than what I have received at other hotel chains as COMPLIMENTARY. And, of course, the appetizers were just that, appetizers. Most of the food available was not suitable to my grandchildren who were accompanying me on this stay. I would NEVER recommend this extra expense to anyone. Just bring your own food, use the fridge in your room and the microwave in the deli area (which I never saw). April 27, 2015

Rated 3 out of 5 by Bathroom Needs Upgrading Upon checking in to our room, we used the bathroom to wash our hands and the water in the bathroom sink was scalding hot! It would not cool down and we had to contact maintenance to come up and repair it. Later that evening, and the next morning, the same thing - SCALDING HOT WATER! Customer service is great, but, more attention needs to be on a total upgrade of the bathrooms. We were in an "Accessible" room, with one sink. This was very inconvenient! March 12, 2015
Rated 2 out of 5 by Never Again Got a corner room, nice view but despite turning the heat up very cold. Did not select Green Opiton on check-in but got notice under my door that I had. Went along with it but did not get credit for using the program. I frequently used this hotel due to this sites practice of upgrading Gold member to the Club floor. They are no longer doing this. When I mentioned that is the primary reason for my choosing this hotel that is otherwise less convienient when I travel to Atlanta the clerk suggest I wait till I hit Platinum status then it wont be a problem. She then gave me the Assistant Front Desk Managers card to call. I did. Was placed on terminal hold so I hung up and used the general managers comment line. Front Desk Manager returned the call, I explained to her why I use this hotel. She offered to comp me one day of Club access and would put new keys under my door. Never happened. I contacted the front desk in concern that someone else now had keys to my room. They knew nothing about the new keys and suggested I contact the FD Manager in the morining when she returns. I did, was told that she was not in yet and to check back later. I did a few hours later and was told that she was still not in yet. I asked when I should check back. Only then was told that she was off for the day. I understand that the hotel changed thier policy and that's fine. But also understand that customers choose certain locations based on prior services that stand above the pack. This facility failed accross the board. After this I gave up on getting anything resolved by this management staff and will look elsewhere when I return to Atlanta. February 26, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Staff Ma 'Shanda Harrison-Butler Professional, pleasant took the extra time to #1 fix my reservation for me, #2 Show me around the hotel! That was really nice. Never been to Atlanta before, I felt Welcomed. THANK YOU. Jim Ledford: What a great guy! Really got into telling me some neat places to go for dining. Made sure I had a reservation, took care of it for me. I like that. KUDOS! Jeffery Kinnie I hope I have the spelling correct. Jeffery was just great to sit and talk to while I had a chance to use the club access. Very much a gentleman, polite, funny, smart, most of all a sense of humor. From a grateful VA nurse who needed a weekend away! Thank you. Atlanta is full of some really historic information,sites and fun too. Worth the long weekend trip. February 24, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by This hotel is a dump and not worth what they charge I stayed at the Sheraton this past weekend, while in town for a cheerleading competition. My reservation was messed up and I was suppose to be there friday through monday. They had me checking out on Sunday. I booked Sunday night seperately throught my husbands business on there corporate rate. I was told I would be able to keep my same room the whole weekend, even with having to have the new reservation for Sunday. I arrived at 3PM friday my room was not ready had to wait for an hour. My room was fairly clean, there was no privacy in my room and I could hear everyone around me. On sunday morning I was told I would have to switch rooms. I then had to wait until a room was ready. My children had to be at convention center to compete. I ended up having to go sit at the omni hotel for 3 hours so my kids could get dressed and ready, as we did not have a room avaialble at the Sheraton and had to move out of ours. On Monday morning on my final checkout, I was over charged for my room. This girl at the desk was rude when I told her I had booked that night under a corporate rate. She then said she would give me a discount on room for all of my inconvenience. I still have not been credited back and I was charged an additional $30 that no one seems to know what for. I will never ever stay at this hotel again. I come to Atlanta often and will never be back here. I also booked my entire gym in this hotel and that will not happen again. Rated 5 out of 5 by Superior platinum service My daughter and I are staying at this hotel for a cheerleading competition this weekend. From the moment we got out of the cab we had exceptional service! The Sheraton Atlanta really made our annual "princess weekend" (filled with cheer and hip hop) an SPG platinum event. I'm a loyal SPG member because of the consistent, quality service hotels like this provide. February 13, 2015

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hotel & Staff Exceeded Expectations A++++++++ This Hotel had service with a smile - 100% of time. Spent 2 days and 1 night attending conference in Sheraton Atlanta. The entire time, the hotel staff remained friendly, helpful, and bent over backwards to accommodate a very large clientele. From housekeeping to front desk staff to the hotel manager greeting me by name at check-in. The place was packed, and yet, the staff and hotel were both top-notch. Even when leaving the parking garage, the conference ended and everyone surged to exit - the staff directed traffic, they stood by the parking booth to make sure people could leave quickly, It was so hands-on and kind and beyond the call of duty. Despite the cold, each staff had delivered service with s smile. That says a lot when you are traveling, and find a place that's so welcoming. I'd definitely stay there again, and recommend to my company to hold meetings there. Thank you for making my stay A++++. January 26, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing staff made the stay exceptional! From before the moment I checked in, Paul, the front desk manager, began to make my stay exceptional! He contacted me to be certain that all of my needs would be met. I travel with a service animal (a siberian husky) and I have out of the ordinary needs, such as to having dog bowls ready, amongst other things. Everything was perfect when I arrived. Paul wasn't working when I arrived, but he had arranged to have everyone know that I would be checking in.The front desk and Andre, the concierge, treated me as if I were a celebrity. I felt incredibly special. My entire stay I was treated as if I were the most important guest in the hotel. It was above and beyond!!! Curtis the food and beverage manager (I think that is his title) made sure that in Fandangles, I had a place where my dog and I had a room. Tania the waitress at Fandangles was so friendly, it encouraged me to go to Fandangles virtually every evening. The lounge at the sheraton is wonderful, but since I was in the north tower, it was easier to just go to Fandangles. The food there is amazing!!! The entire Sheraton staff were incredible, bell staff , restaurant staff, and the entire hotel staff including housekeeping. If this hadn't been business and I were able to just relax, this could be one of my best hotel stays ever. (alas work calls) Thanks to everyone for an incredible stay!!! And, I love that you have added the small dog relief area, that is a huge plus to past stays here. January 18, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by As a world traveler ..Absolutely the BEST.. World traveler, Platinum SPG member..I stay in hotels a bit like 200 days out of the year, and this was indeed one of the best stays. I, after a few days felt like family and indeed I appreciate that and look forward to coming back to Atlanta again. I am currently in Frankfurt Germany and I feel like I missed my sheraton courtland family :) FRONT DESK: Alexis, Khadejah, Sara, and many more. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great staff!! We have travel to many cities both in the USA and abroad. We have NEVER been to a hotel where EVERYONE on the staff was as friendly!! From the bellmen, to the valet service, to the check in desk, cleaning service, and food service.... EVERYONE was so nice!!! Would definitely stay here again! January 2, 2015

The vip manger for the club room for spg members ma-shanda is amazing super nice and allways there when u need her from anything you need she will try her best to provide i allso have to say thanks to (paul) and ms-Brenda at the front desk really made my stay feel welcomed .. Rated 5 out of 5 by Charming hotel Stayed here one night at Christmas Eve. Got a lovely platinum upgrade to a quiet room, just as I had asked for. Everything was clean and comfortable – except the mini fridge, which clearly had not been cleaned since the last guests had used it. It had yellow stains/liquids all over, yukk. Stayed in the north tower, the lounge (a quite decent one) was in the south towers, which made for a long walk. All in all good value and platinum recognition, would stay here again. Rated 2 out of 5 by Trying Situations When we arrived front desk rep was wonderful. However went I visited the gift shop and the cashier attitude was HORRIBLE! The bellmen and valet were extremely nice and professional. The first room we had was horrible it smelled molded and it was stains on the ceiling. We we moved almost instantly however the new room was a bit nicer and cleaner but it was hairs all over the sheets of the second bed and the shower tile was filthy. I was disappointed because I had very high expectations of the Sheraton. Myself and staff was also anger by the fact our rooms were paid in advance by our company but we were still made to pay a 50.00 incidental fee in which the company could have paid this if they were told when making the reservation. And finally did not like the bill to the room process because it was not communicated at all that more is held out of your bank account than the actual purchase. Hopefully updates are coming to the hotel within the rooms and the staff will better communicate to its guest regarding various policies. It wasn't a horrible stay and I would recommend the hotel if it's for a conference or something downtown because of location. December 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Responsive attentive staff I was given a handicapped room which I am in comfortable in and the staff quickly found me another room which was actually an upgrade with breakfast included! The hotel restaurant was excellent! Food and service was as great as any fine restaurant I have ever eaten in December 4, 2014

The facilities are terrific, and provide everything you need. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone going to Atlanta for business or pleasure. A real gem of a hotel. December 2, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by friendly staff, small rooms This hotel is very good, great features and very friendly staff. The only downside is the size of the rooms. We stayed in the south tower and the rooms are so tiny. The bathroom is very small. I literally tripped over the toilet getting out of the shower. There is no space there at all. Two people can not use the bathroom mirror at the same time. The Club Lounge is great, we spent our time in there because the room was so small. Restaurant service very slow. i had to find the waiter to take my payment so I could leave. November 17, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed I stayed at the Sheraton Atlanta for the first time and I was disappointed with my two-night stay. I was on a business trip and was surprised to learn there was a charge for WiFi in the room. I was in Atlanta on a business trip and most hotels that cater to businesses offer Internet service for free, in my experience. Maintenance could improve. The drain in the washroom sink was clogged and drained very slowly. My colleague said the toilet didn't flush properly in his room. November 13, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by A Rather Good Experience Not knowing what to expect when we got there it was a nice experience. They were first class at check in and it was a nice room. Breakfast at Collage (in the hotel) was wonderful. Our server was fantastic, and the omelets (made to order) were simply fantastic. Overall it was a really good experience. November 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Beautiful View of the HVAC for a Plat guest I just really get tired of SPG benefits that tout Upgrade to Best Available room, including suites* for Platinum members but the hotels rarely, if ever, make this a reality. The shame of it is, the Sheraton Atlanta has the most professional and highly trained hotel staff in America. I spend 50+ nights/yr in SPG properties and I do expect the loyalty to flow both ways. Sadly it does not at this property. November 9, 2014
