Whatever you are doing, keep it up! I travel A LOT and customer service is hit or miss in hotels. Your staff in all areas went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. I dont write reviews....but your hotel should be knowledged. Damion (server) helped me to get breakfast one morning and I noted that he worked the convention that night "busting It" . Keep up the good work!

I had a problem with noise from my first room, was moved to another room after the first night. However, there was inconsistency with registration staff. I was told to go to my meeting, pack my bags and come to the front desk for the key to my new room when the meeting was over for the day. When I returned no one knew anything about it, my bag was still in my old room - I left the key when I left for the meeting. I was given a new key told to go to the old room, call the operater and let her know that I need a new room. When I got back to the old room, the key would not work and I had to go back to the desk. Another staff gave me a new room and had my bags brought to me.

Enjoyed the room I stayed in. The bed was quite comfortable and nice. I was disappointed in the quality of the Internet Service. I understand with a Hotel of this upscale nature that you can command $12.95 per day for this service, but I would expect it to work! It was painfully slow, almost like the old Dial-up modems, and frequently kicked me off line, even in the middle of work. I would not return to your hotel for this reason alone. Also, I got up to take a shower the next morning and there was NO Shampoo in the bath. Thus I had to wait for Housekeeping to deliver some to my room, and delaying the start of my day.

I rated this hotel with 5 stars last visit.....this visit was not quite as pleasant, though not at all a bad experience. I guess we were just so thrilled with going back, to be disappointed with not having the same OUTSTANDING service we received the last time, was a bit disappointing. Several staff recognized us as having stayed there earlier in the year and that was AMAZING, but the few problems we incurred during the stay this time were a bit of a downer. All issues were addressed and taken care of. As always the room was beautiful, food was delicious and most of the staff overly friendly in that southern way! LOL.

One of the things that stood out to me was the high level of customer service from the valet, to the front desk, to housekeeping. Most of the staff appeared to be happy to be there and excited about their work. One of the areas that could see some improvement would be items in the rooms. Both the duvet and the shower curtain were stained. However, housekeeping was swift in resolving one of the issues. The food at the buffet(on the 3rd floor) was very good, however, the light breakfast at the conference, served by the hotel, was lukewarm at best. Overall, I would recommend this hotel. .

I have never been as impressed with the staff at a hotel! Andre, the Concierge, was the best Concierge I've ever come across in my travels. I was greeted daily, by name, by many staff members in the lobby area. The GM at Fandango's Restaurant was very friendly and really catered to our group...every day. The wait staff at the bar quickly remembered everyone's preferences and greeted us at our table with our favorite adult beverage.The food at Fandango's and Collage was very good and beautifully presented. The front desk staff was especially helpful, even when there was a problem with the room rate I'd been quoted. I will surely stay here again when I return to Atlanta!

Everything was great except they demand taking your luggage to and from your room. When we were checking out we went down to get a cart, they said someone would be right up. We got the call about 10 mins later they would be right up. I got the car and pulled out front and waited. My husband came down with arms full, no one ever came up. We couldn't get a cart they kept saying someone is coming up. It was over an hour and we loaded everything without a cart. So if this is policy then you should have it where it works, if you cannot offer prompt service them allow the customers to use the luggage carts them selves.

I have attended many annual meetings for corporations and associations. This facility was extremely user friendly and had an outstanding staff to facilitate any size organization. The meetings rooms were always spotless and properly prepared. They also were able to react to schedule changes which were many in this case.

It did not seem to make a difference having SPG at all. My dissatisfaction is with the Club lounge...Hot snack were disgusting in every sense of the word, I am not sure if I would feed it to my pet...Lounge was way too loud at times to where you could not sit there and conduct any business, which left me behind on my business matters.
No snacks throughout the day as was claimed online, they used to have a fruit basket and health bars, but not any more. for club rooms, people should at least have free interner in the rooms. The only reason I would sty here again is location convenience based on my business place.

I have never stayed at such a warm, friendly, accommodating place. The staff are exceptionally friendly and go way out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. I found this attitude in each place in the hotel (e.g., front desk, restaurants, bar, housekeeping etc). It doesn’t feel like employees are following a mandate either, but rather that each individual really cares that you are comfortable and that your needs are met! Any time I’m in Atlanta, I WILL stay at the Sheraton downtown!

My girlfriend and I checked in late after travelling all day and were greeted very well as Gold members. We were upgraded as expected and found the room clean and to our liking. However, stopping for a nightcap and to watch some football, we found the service at the bar very poor. We sat for quite some time before a server came by to take our drink order, then waited nearly 10 minutes for the drinks. With the bar not over half full and with multiple servers, we found this not to our satisfaction. Once my girlfriend put down her finished drink, the server came over to ask if we wanted another. I replied no, and she proceeded to try to take both drinks , though I had not finished mine. when I asked her to leave it, she said she would be back shortly. Fifteen or more minutes passed and she had not returned, so we asked the bar manager for our tab. When he brought it, I handed him a drink coupon I had received at check in (the server told me this was the way to use the coupon), and he explained that he would have to have a new bill run. We waited nearly 10 more minutes for her to return with the corrected bill. Would not recommend this bar to anyone in a hurry or wanting a short nightcap before heading off to bed.

Earlier this week I travelled to Atlanta for business. Showing up at my initial hotel during check in they informed me my rate was going to be $239 a night for a junior suite. Unfortunately, I am not authorized to spend this amount on a room and the hotel made no concessions to this fact or offered any other options. Bascially they said the city was sold out and this was the best rate they could offer. I immediately contacted my travel coordinator who was able to get me my authorized rate (mind you when the city was suppose to be sold out) at the Sheraton. The hotel staff went out of their way realizing my day had not gone well. The room was wonderful and so was the hotel. I will definately stay there again. Thanks.

I was traveling on business and the staff at this hotel truly went the extra mile to my staff great. Checking in was was quick, efficient and very accomodating. THe front office managers were welcoming and extremely helpful. The room was nice and a great value. I highly recommend the property, but the staff is second to none!

I have been a loyal SPG member for 10 years now and travel extensively. Upon check in I inquired about a room upgrade which I did not get.
When one of my employees checked in a few hours later he was awarded an upgrade to a much nicer room. He has only joined the SPG program just this year.
It seems to me that starwood forgets about you once they know you will stay at their hotels anyway so they see no need to upgrade you.
In addition to this I was billed $75 dollars more per night than my employee. When I inquired about it at the front desk I was told "too bad".
This is simply bad business in my opinion.

Pros: excellent, friendly staff - I was consistently impressed by how nice the staff was. The people who work here are what makes this hotel worth staying at. Overall facilities were nice, bed was comfortable.
Cons: Additional charge for Wifi; interior shower curtain was too long, got sopping wet, and I kept tripping over it; plastic cups made me feel like i was in a motel; lack of security late at night. South tower elevator was accessible without bypassing the front desk and didn't require a keycard.
Overall: I would stay here again if I got a cheaper rate, but it wasn't quite worth what I was paying.

Virtually every staff member greeted me with "hello" when I saw them. The room was very comfortable, the bed was great, and the food was very good, although a little pricey.

Comfortable room. Very small bathroom. Drain was backed up upon check-in. Staff unclogged but had to call someone back to clean residual from sink...6 hours later.

I rarely do reviews online since I travel so often, but I was pleasantly surprised with this stay... I visit Atlanta often and never stayer here till this week, some of the reviews said rundown rooms, but they must have reviewed them before renovation... Hotel was clean and looks new and renovated, on top of it, was easy to get in and out from Freeway...
But it was the Staff here that made our stay wonderful... Club Lounge was a great start with the smiles of Shirley to the evening hangout at Fandangles with Hanna T. Definitely will add this to the list of hotels to stay in future... Well done.

I just wanted to say that I have never stayed in a hotel where I am continuously greeted and acknowledged and asked do I need help like I have been here at the Sheraton. I just wanted to commend you for -- obviously your staff has got the message of greet and give eye contact to every guest. I mean all the way from the maintenance people to the bell hops to the late-night gift shop person everyone has greeted. I don't think I've walked by one employee that did not give me eye contact and say good morning or hello or may I help you. So I just thought I'd share positive feedback. I want to give you a total "thumbs up" for the attribute of a very attentive staff. Keep up the good work. Thank you.

The facilities were top notch. But the staff really makes this hotel shine. The check-in staff was maybe a little bit above normal, fairly efficient, didn't smile much, seemed preoccupied or distracted or tired. But that is where ordinary ended. Almost without exception, every staff member met our gazes, smiled, greeted us, seemed happy to see our little rambunctious children, asked if they could help us with anythings, and as often as we would let them, went and did things for us. They must have a fantastic hiring and training program. Totally unexpected service. It seems like an older facility, but everything is bright, updated and in working order. There wasn't a fridge in our room. Called the front desk, left the room and when we got back, there was a fridge! We'd pay more to stay there again.

My room was tired and run down. The wallpaper was old and coming unstuck. The ironing board pad needed replacing and the board itself was rickety. The tub was worn, the carpet was kind of gross. There were dirty tissues on the closet floor and a very unattractive greasy smudge on the window.
But the bed was comfortable. Everything worked. Every time I asked a staff person for help during my 4-day stay, they went above and beyond, exceeding expectations every time. The staff were personable, friendly, willing to help not only us but each other with every issue, big and small. We were guided to exquisite food and received accurate directions as well as quick responses to our requests. Outstanding service. The best I've had in a hotel in many years.

While I loved the room, hotel facilities, some check in agent seemed to be in dire need of additional customer service training. I wanted to leave a key in an envelope for my guest. The front desk sent me to the bellboy who sent me back to the front desk. When my friend did arrive, they could not locate the envelope that was clearly marked with her name (and mine) and she made little effort to find it. Furthermore, there seemed to be confusion around the aarp deal and breakfast. Luckily the two female managers were excellent AND pleasant. Great concierge

From the time we pulled up until the time we left, the staff at this hotel was amazing!! They were so friendly and helpful. The bellstaff and concierge went above and beyond when the pool had to close due to an infant getting sick in it. They made arrangements for us to use another poll close by. They gave us perfect directions to everything otherwise we would have been lost. we will definitely stay here on all future trips to Atlanta. They were so nice to my children asking them what all they did each day.Our trip would not have been near as much fun without the staff of this hotel.

Wife was staying here for a conference. I tagged alone to get some writing done. Stayed in room on Club Level. Room was average. Club lounge was staffed by some very attentive employees (the highlight of the stay) but did not have the level of amenities I expected. Also, It seemed that many people not staying at club level were accessing the lounge and carting away food. The hotel is a very good mid-level choice. The only caveat is that at night the location is quite unsafe. But, during the day, it is in an area near very fine restaurants and attractions, e.g., the Atlanta Aquarium.
