Rated 5 out of 5 by Everyone we encountered,staff & etc, was great. We enjoyed our stay. We ate at the hotel and our grandchildren were treated with respect just like we were. Also, we did not have to leave the hotel for any reason. We all had a wonderdul time and will recommend this hotel. January 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by This hotel made our Justin Bieber experience even better! The Sheriton at BJCC was the perfect place to be for the Justin Bieber concert. The rooms were very nice and comfortable, plush even! staff were so knowledgeable and friendly. They went out of their way to accommodate the large number of "Beliebers" that transcended on them this week. There was a huge screen in the atrium playing JB music and footage. They raffled off a JB life size poster and also provided markers and poster board for the fans to make signs. The staff really impressed me and I will definitely return to experience more of it! Rated 1 out of 5 by Zero maintenance program Different room ,same problems as my last trip to this hotel.Sink was clogged up and HVAC filter was clogged up. Also had mold on the shower ceiling.Asked to speek to a manager, he did not call. I asked that no one come into the room unless we were there, so they were in the bathroom when my wife returned! Rated 2 out of 5 by Not worth the money or stress This hotel was very disaapointing. The parking for this property is far removed from the lobby. The escalators were out of service, the evelvators did not operate properly and at one point the door opened half way between floors. The front desk clerk upon my checking out proceeded to argue with me that I gave her the wrong room number. On future trips to Birmingham I will seek other accomodations. January 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent The overall stay was excellent. I was at this particular hotel for a business conference that was held in this hotel. The only issue I had was with service. It seems rather minor though. At check-in, I was given the option of having my receipt emailed to me. It has been 4 days and I've yet to receive it. Otherwise, my stay was excellent January 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Mrs. Great location for travelers...wonderful and friendly staff. I was even allowed to have early check in before the conference began which was very helpful for my schedule. Everything was perfect except there was no soap in the bathroom when I arrived. But I called for the soap and it was delivered within 10 minutes. Then later someone called to be sure that the items had been delivered. So I was a happy camper!!! January 15, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Need updating Staff was courteous, friendly, and helpful. Sold-out weekend with large crowd and the hotel handled it well. The negatives were: valet parking was full and we had to self-park, internet in rooms only by ethernet, and Fitness Center was in an "isolated location" and my wife and daughters did not feel comfortable using it in the early hours. Can not recall ever experiencing " valet parking-full" at any hotel. Wifi is now standard and you are more likely to find a hotel without ethernet connection. We all travel with tablets and none of us could connect in the room. In today's time, WE ARE NOT HAPPY WITHOUT THE INTERNET. January 7, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by Dissatisfied Rooms that had been booked 6 wks in advance were not ready at check-in time. Two no-smoking rooms had been book and one of the rooms was not a non-smoking room. There was no hot water to bathe or shower. Valet parking in a non-desirable area of Birmingham was full on the 2 occasions we tried to valet park. January 7, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by not ready for crowd had 2 was ok..the other had no toilet seat and dirty towels..after saying they were going to fix the toliet seat, 5hrs later nothing had been done. They offered to move us to another room..we did and the h/ac was not working..again said they were going to fix first night..they didnt.. constant 80 degrees in room. the next day they offered to move us again, but by that time it was so late we decided to stay..they did bring us a fan which made it bearable. they gave us a cpn for afree night at one of their hotesl..didnt seem like much compensation for what we went through.. Mary and Yvonne at the front guest services did an outstanding job to make things really better. I will always cheerish staying at this hotel. Looking forward to its Club level opening and pool also. Rated 1 out of 5 by Never again The room decor was dated and old. Although i like it warm, the hallways were sweltering while the rooms remained cold. While checking out, the bill was much more than what was expected and when i pointed this out to the lobby clerk, she smiled and continued to repeat that she did not know where the charge came from and she cannot explain it, but she cannot do anything about it. horrible stay. Rated 1 out of 5 by poor stay I stayed at your hotel in Birmingham on Dec. 29,2012. Check in was a joke as hundreds were trying to check in for the concert at BJCC. The room was terribly cold and took hours to warm up. On Sunday morning there was no hot water available to shower so I used the coffee maker to make enough hot water to shave with. January 2, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by disappointed I chose this hotel because when I stayed there in the past it was enjoyable,however.this time it was awful.After sitting in the street for 30 min.waiting to pull in to the front/valet area,I had to stand in line for 2 and a half ours in the lobby just to check in.Upon check in I realized they had the wrong check out date even though I contacted the personally a few days before to make sure it was correct. When I finally got checked in and headed to the room ,there was a 20 min.wait for an elevator because only one was working.Being on the 12th floor stairs with luggage was not an option. The room must have had construction to the ceiling because the dust and dirt were still in the floor and the chunks of debris were in the restroom trash.There was no hot water,when I called front desk I was told I wasn't only one without it.When I went down to correct the dates(due to the back up I was asked to come back the next day) They wanted me to pay all the deposits and a differant rate than I was given when I reserved the dates prior to arrival. Needless to say,I left and didn't stay there .I was VERY disappointed in a hotel I once would have recomended,but not anymore. January 1, 2013

The room was outstanding! All of this on a concert night with 150 guests lining the lobby waiting to check-in! Thank you for a great experience! Can't wait to come back! January 1, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Used and Abused Dirty Old Hotel Toilet had not been cleaned, shower not clean, fried chicken skin in chair when we arived. Check in was a nightmare and we stood in line for 50 min to get checked in. Staff could not help with directions to restraunts or venues even within walking distance. Dacor needs a major overhaul. Sleep fairly well but hey... I was drunk by bed time so i would not have to think about the butt fuzz on the toilet seat that was left there for us. December 31, 2012
