Upon check in for a 3 night stay, I was informed (after a 5 minute wait) the room I booked was unavailable. Front desk offered me free continental breakfast...and informed me the manager would call me the next day - perhaps to find a room or lower my rate. That never happened.
The room I check into had every light on? Nine in total? As a LEED certified hotel, this seems pretty ignorant.
Nice gym area, breakfast was good and fast. Hotel staff was friendly; as were some of the restaurant staff.
This is an excellent location for working in the city travelling by ferry. The view is spectacular; just don't book a room with a view - you may not get it.

Here are my observations after staying at this hotel for about 12 nights over 4 separate stays-
Check-in: It's always a disaster especially around 6-7pm. Only two to three people would work the desk and usually they are stuck in long conversations with tourists asking about every nuance of getting into NYC and learning about the local area. They never staff the SPG gold/platinum desk. So expect to wait 15+ min to check in at peak time. No recognition of SPG, no mention of SPG amenities or lounge. Makes me wonder if they even have a lounge?
Rooms: Actually very spacious rooms with a seating area. A/C are old school units attached to wall and can get really loud if you're a light sleeper. Ran into two issues with the bathroom - one smelled like wet towels all day, the other the water pressure on shower head was terrible. Beds are comfy, but they still use the two flat sheets to wrap the duvet that's probably never washed.
Hotel Amenities: I never used the gym so can't comment on it, but I did try to order room service and they told me it'll take one to one-half hour. Totally unacceptable-considering it's a full service restaurant downstairs. Internet is extremely slow - don't expect to watch any Netflix. Even browsing the web makes you feel like you were on a old ISDN line.
Last Impression: Only saving grace is the hotel is right at the Weehawken Lincoln Harbor ferry stop. It's a 5 min ferry ride to NYC. Just remember last ferry that comes back is at 10:50pm and download the NY/NJ Waterway app for tix and schedule.

We were so happy we stayed at Lincoln Harbor Sheraton. The room was very clean, comfortable beds, updated bathroom. The view from our window was breathtaking ! I slept with the curtains open and stared half the night at the city lights . The staff at the front desk was very helpful with assisting us with transportation options for us. The location of this hotel is a two minute walk to catch the NJ transit bus, which is an inexpensive ride to the New York Port Authority station. The ferry is another option, which will pick you up right outside the hotel. If we ever get another chance to visit NYC, we would book another stay at Lincoln Harbor Sheraton.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times before and were thrilled which is why we chose to stay there to for my milestone 40th birthday. I don't know what has changed with the renovations but the room was much smaller, the beds were so tiny I could hardly sleep, the towel supply was very stingy, even the drawer space was inadequate.... Three small drawers in total to put our belongings away. The prices have all gone up while the quality has declined. We have always raved about this hotel as a nicer, more spacious stay when visiting NYC. We have brought others and always been so happy. This stay really ruined my special birthday stay.

Very nice view from the bedroom window overlooking midtown Manhattan. This view was spectacular.
The beds and pillows are very comfortable, in all it was a very comfortable stay. I will stay at this location next time I go back to New York.
Also, the location of the Ferry to Manhattan is only a step away!!! No need to drive into Manhattan!!!

I had expected issues with my reservation but was very pleasantly surprised that my issues were taken care off. I had booked 2 connecting rooms because of traveling with my grandsons and both rooms were excellent. They were very clean and had a view of NYC. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable when I needed questions answered. There were a few restaurant's within walking distance. The hotel location was right on the water and nearby there were several transportations options to get to New York City.

I reserved a room with panoramic view for an anniversary trip and it was even better than expected! The staff was amazing and very helpful from the time we drove up to the door. Very friendly and gave great directions and advice for traveling to New York City. The room was very clean and bed super comfy with awesome view of Manhattan! Very convenient for New York City with water taxi just outside $9 trip to Manhattan, and bus stop just down the street with trip to Manhattan for only $3. The restaurant in the hotel was also wondereful with amazing views of the city. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back for a stay here on our next visit!

This was the second year for us at this hotel and I've noticed a decline in both service and cleanliness. The front desk staff tends to come across arrogant and even though check in time was 3 our room was not ready at 5:30 when we arrived. The cleanliness of the room was my biggest disappointment. Found room looked neglected..and found a bug in the bathroom that had us worried about leaving our clothes out the rest of our stay. A dirty room service tray was out in the hall for over 11 hours.The view is spectacular- I hope the management works at their front end customer service, but more importantly please clean up the rooms.

It doesn't get any better than this for seeing NYC! We were going to an event at the javits Center and the ferry from the hotel dropped us off 2 blocks from the Center. This is my 4th stay there and the staff is always excellent. We had a late night snack at the on-site restaurant which was excellent, all menu selections are very value priced compared to the surrounding area.
Only two recommendations - upgrade the concierge level breakfast from cold cereal and bread to a higher level and don't charge for the wireless service. Most major hotels provide free wireless, I understood our special room rate included free wireless but ended up getting charged for it.

There are very few options for dining in the area and room service closes at 10:30. Coming from an event, there is little chance to have a decent meal if you are not there before room service closes.
The construction noise started at 6 in the morning! You should warn your guests about that.
The fact that you don't have a store to buy snacks or water is incomprehensible

I highly recommend this hotel. The room was very clean with all the standard modern amenities and had an amazing view of Manhattan. The front desk staff was very attentive, polite and helpful. The hotel restaurant had a great Italian menu selection that was absolutely delicious and not very pricey. The parking is reasonable for $25 a night and very easily accesible if you are going to be driving in and out during your stay. A ferry into NYC is available right across the street. A++ overall.

I paid for our room in full because it stated we would receive the best price guarantee, instead the day of check in the price had gone down a quarter of the amount I paid per night. When I tried to have our nightly amount adjusted the Manager on duty at the Sheraton was unsympathetic and rude. She would not even give an explanation as to how it makes sense to make some one pay in full with a 'guarantee' if it is not true. Instead she sarcastically said sorry and walked away. Starwoods told me that the best price is only good for the day of booking. I will never use Sheraton Weehawken for our families visits again.

I attended a Workshop so I did not have time to enjoy many aspects of the hotel or NYC. I was very impressed with the quality of the room and the friendly and helpful staff. I found the restaurant rather limited and felt that the rather high rate I paid should have given me access to the Club and to perhaps more perks in the room, including WiFi which I had to pay for on a daily basis.

The location for work in both NYC and at the Stevens Institute where I needed to be was excellent. Facilities were perfect for my needs. A jog along the harbor watching a beautiful sunrise over the NYC skyline was a treat on my last morning.

When we arrived, we requested for a fridge; to our surprise, they upgraded our room to an extra microwave and a refridgerator. The room they gave to us had a spectacular view of Lower Manhattan. We could see all the buildings across the Hudson River, especially the World Trade Center Site. The hotel staff was very friendly and they made our stay enjoyable. Housekeeping always gave us a fresh room after a long day of touring New York. The only thing is, the nearest convienience store is about three blocks away. Otherwise, we would recommend this hotel to our friends and family; we most likely will come back.

This hotel was a great place to hop into New York on the ferry.the views of the city were beautiful.
The rooms were comfortable and clean,and the pool and gym were a bonus.
Staff were friendly and eager to help.

We like this hotel and always stay here when we are going to Manhattan, NY. It is not in NY but NY is 10 - 15 minutes by Ferry or Bus, and they have a huge park- yourself lot if you drive to it as we do.The hotel is perfect and priced right the staff is friendly and helpful. To me nothing else matters beside what I have written above but they offer more..

My wife and I have stayed here on numerous occasions. This is a great hotel with a wonderful location but the Mesina restaurant attached to the hotel leaves a great deal to be desired. When you stop in after returning from a show in midtown the kitchen is closed far to early to serve costumers. The staff of Mesina is not very friendly. A better bet is to go to one of the neighborhood restaurants (Ruth Chris or Houlihans) within close walking distance to the hotel. Since this is not our first bad experience at the restaurant we are surprised that Sheraton has maintained this partnership.

Just cross the street for the ferry to Manhattan, with bus transfer in various directions. It is almost as central as actually staying in a Manhattan hotel, but much more piece and quiet. Spacious and nice rooms. But A/C was not working very well and there were no refrigerator in the room. The staff was friendly, but the reception desk was working very slowly. In the Italian restaurant, where we were supposed to have breakfast, the waiting line was so long and slow that we left without food. But that may have been temporary. On the whole it is a nice hotel and I would stay there again!

The air conditioner in Room 240 was incredibly noisy, making all kinds of rattling noises, and at times sounded like a heavy rainstorm hitting the windows, but it was not raining outside. We got back to our room after midnight after a wedding, and did not realize how noisy it was getting until trying to fall asleep. We did not call the front desk at 1:00 a.m. Your survey asks about SPG Recognition -- I am a member and nothing was said to me upon check-in.
