Rated 3 out of 5 by Modern but has issues I came back one day to find water pouring out of the ceiling of the bathroom into the sink, went downstairs to tell the front desk, came back, and it had been cleaned up, sort of. The internet situation was pretty bad, no signal in the rooms even on the pricey paid one, and in the lobby even with full signal it was incredibly slow. I had a mystery breakfast charge for $40 on my bill I noticed after I checked out, I had never eaten breakfast. I emailed the location and never got a response. Overall, I was expecting a bit better maintenance in the room, one of the outlets fell through when I used it, and there were obviously water issues. August 25, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent service and location I was more than pleasantly surprised with the level of service and attention that I received at the Sheraton. It is a smaller boutique hotel with the feel of an independent, with the quality of a top SPG brand. The intimate bar was a nice feature. The location with regard to the business district and proximity to the lake and old town made it very convenient in all regards. I will certainly stay at the Sheraton on my next visit to Zurich. Rated 4 out of 5 by Good hotel near Zurich lake The location of the hotel within walking distance to the Zurich lake, and just approximately 300 m from the nearest Tram station. Excellent location and certainly worth considering if you would like to stay close to the Zurich lake which is an excellent running spot in the morning. July 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Alomst perfect The location is perfect, near to the public services and city centre. The staff is friendly, responsive and offers an excellent service. Food was of high quality, fresh and tasteful. The only thing that didn't match into this picture, was the broken bath tube holder. July 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lovely hotel I was upgraded to the Senior Suite which was excellent. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, the facilities were excellent and I had a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel. July 23, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Solid But Oh So Simple OVERALL IMPRESSION: Nothing terribly wrong with this place (except WiFi, see below) but - except for very attentive service - also very little to find memorable. I was told by a member of staff that this is the smallest Sheraton in the network and it showed - it was pared down of all the usual bells and whistles - tiny Reception, virtually no lobby to speak of, narrow hallways, small rooms. SPG RECOGNITION: Great. Upgrade to Junior Suite and lovely in-room amenity. No Club Lounge but Buffet Breakfast offered on a complimentary basis in the ground-floor Jardin de Suisse Restaurant. THE ROOM: A nicely furnished Junior Suite but smaller than a standard double in most Sheraton properties. Miniscule bathroom with a single tiny sink. LOCATION: In the central business district but not premium. Tram stops nearby connect to the station. EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS: As well as my preferred sparkling mineral water and a lovely bottle of Prosecco, there was a menu card inviting me to order one of three great snack options at my leisure. This came in very handy and was a wonderful green garlic terrine and smoked salmon with crusty bread. DID NOT MEET EXPECTATIONS: For a hotel which I would imagine deals almost exclusively with business people, it is hard to believe there is no WiFi available in the rooms! As a Platinum, I was invited to use the cable but IT DID NOT WORK. I even changed rooms in the urgency to get some work done and it still didn’t work. The very kind reception clerk finally offered my a voucher to use on the independent WiFi provider available in the rooms but (although she said it was for 3 hours) it had only 30 minutes validity. Rated 5 out of 5 by Overall excellent service and hotel We stayed several nights and thoroughly enjoyed this lovely, sophisticated hotel matched by equally lovely and sophisticated staff. The rooms are spacious, high tech and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast is wonderful as is the lovely lady assisting in the dining room. The hotel is very close to the lake in a quiet street. The hotel treats SPG guests above expectations and is generous in providing free intenet in the foyer to all guests. January 27, 2012
