Booking/reservations: Although the agents were nice, it somehow took multiple emails and phone calls for us to finally receive a reservation that accurately reflected the price and accommodations discussed on the phone. Not sure how this kept getting "lost in translation".
King room: the furnishings looked nice, and were functional and comfortable. However, the room felt small, especially with the rollaway bed, which was delivered but not set up for us--and for which we were charged extra per night, even though we were assured it would be "gratis" when we booked...(The woman at the front desk cheerfully removed the charges upon checkout, when I noticed them on the itemized list, but what if I hadn't checked?) When we moved an accent chair to make room for the rollaway, a cloud of dust arose.
Bathroom: clean and pretty (with a magnifying mirror, nice touch) but the shower was...weird. It was essentially a large walk-in space, separated from the toilet by a glass wall (so not even the privacy of an opaque shower curtain should someone else need to brush their teeth while another family member is in the shower). The shower head is in the ceiling--this creates a lovely rainfall but, of course, can't be directionally adjusted should one want to skip hair washing for a day. Finally, the safety bar was installed in the back wall of the shower space, inaccessible for support until one has already stepped over a little step (that keeps the water from seeping out of the shower area), and walked several paces across a wet shower floor. Huh?

Love this hotel - very nice and clean room, bed extremely comfortable and very quiet unlike many hotels. My only complaint is the in-room coffee. Call me a coffee snob but powder creamer is not what I expect from SPG. Most of the SPG hotels keep creamer in the rooms. So, i ordered a pot of coffee - $7.50 but it is very good and I am back to a productive morning on the road.

I am reading other reviews and it appears to be a constant complaint, yet they do nothing to take care of the issue. The hotel and rooms are gorgeous, yet the front desk staff I dealt with was rude and not very accommodating.
I booked through TripAdvisor and received confirmation from Sheraton via email. Upon arrival Tim (front desk clerk) had no record of my reservation. I showed him the email and he basically told me it was mine and Tripadviser's problem to figure out. He told me to leave the line so he could help other customers. He never offered to get a Sheraton manager or other options. After spending 40 minutes on the phone with Sheraton Resetvations and TripAdvisers the confirmation number magically appeared. This whole process took an hour total. We missed our dinner reservations and Tim offered nothing for inconvenience. In fact, he didn't seem to care. It would have been nice if he sent us with drink coupons and offered to call TripAdvisers personally.
The next morning I complained to Front Desk Manager, Candace(sp) and she offered no apology. She said it's the chance we take for not booking directly with Sheraton!
I have traveled for business for many years and must say this is by far the absolute worst I have been treated!
I have left a message with the General Manager. If no response, I will continue to go to the next higher up.

Rated 2 out of 5 by iamravi Very Disappointing Service
This hotel has, in my opinion, a very ill-prepared and unresponsive staff. I spoke to the manager on behalf of a problem I had when I checked in. He could care less, and was just eager to get me off the phone.
I added someone to my room, instead of just adding him as a secondary. When he checked in, they made him the primary guest without my permission.
When you press "Guest Services" on the phone, you get transferred to Central Reservation.
Get your act together Sheraton Greensboro. For the $200+/night, you really need to step up your service.

CHECKED IN AS A STOP OVER, AFTER A GORGEOUS WEEK AT THE WESTIN JEKYLL ISLAND.
IT WAS AFTER MIDNIGHT, WITH A CONVENTION GOING ON. NO SPG LINE TO CHECK IN!!!!!
CALLED THE NEXT MORNING TO INQUIRE ABOUT CREAM IN THE CLUB LEVEL(WHICH DID NOT HAVE ANY SNACKS AS STATED 24 hr. ) WAS TOLD BY THE FRONT DESK IT WOULD BE AN HOUR.FOR CREAM TO ARRIVE.
WHEN I CHECKED OUT , I ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE M.O.D.! I SPOKE WITH A GENTILE MAN WHO TOLD ME, VERY RUDELY !!!! THE CREAMER WAS BUILT INTO THE MACHINE.
HOW DO EXPECT ALL MY STAFF TO BE AWARE OF HOWIT WORKS. HE PROCEED TO SAY IF YOU ARE UNHAPPY DO NOT COME BACK!!!!!!
I ASKED FOR HIS CARD, WHEN I LOOKED AT HIS CARD AFTER I HAD LEFT, IT WAS THAT OF COLLEAGUE.
HOW MUCH MORE DECEITFUL CAN ONE BE,
TRULY HOW THE GENERAL MANAGER TRAINS HIS STAFF.
IF YOU ARE NOT IN A CONVENTION, STAY AWAY,
EVEN THEN . I WOULD HAVE MY DOUBTS!!!!!!
