Rated 1 out of 5 by 2Annoyed14 Frustrated before arrival
I have not even stayed at this hotel and am already extremely frustrated. I was just called 2 days before I was set to arrive (for a reservation that was booked several months in advance) and told the reservation is cancelled. I was told it was an emergency and was not given any further information. Asked what the emergency was - told "can't say". Asked how long it's closed for - told "can't say". I sincerely hope everything and everyone is ok but think they are handling this very poorly. At least tell me why I am now running around paying double to try and book another last minute hotel!

I live in the Nashville area, but needed a nice place to stay downtown over New Years Eve with all my friends. The Sheraton's location is on walking distance to Broadway St. and has great access to all the interstates, Upon arrival to the hotel, parking was easy due to the option of using the parking garage and check in was VERY fast. I was surprise and pleased to see that the hotel was well staffed at the front desk to accommodate the numerous people checking in right at the check in time. Clean rooms and short waits for elevator usage was great!!

Rated 3 out of 5 100% paid in full 1 month before stay , room not guaranteed
When a customer pays 100% of money ( 50% within 24 hours of booking, 11 months prior to stay , and the remaining 50% 30 days before stay) he/she expects the hotel not to overbook. If the hotel makes this "mistake" , when the guest shows up , the guest should not be lied to.
The hotel also resubmitted charges to my credit card for my stay which was already paid in full.Twice during my stay , my credit card was charged $2,980. This "auditing error" took away almost $6,000 worth of credit from me. Fortunately I had enough credit left on my card. I definitely would not stay at this hotel in the future. Problem not just with 1 or 2 people, but the problem lies in the hotel management itself.

We had such a great stay at the hotel can't wait to return. Staff so friendly and helpful. Thanks to Shannon and Miles for over the top service.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CodyIL Great Nashville Hotel
This hotel was in a great location and for the price, it can't be beat. The lobby area was clean and the staff was great. I had indicated that my wife and I were staying for a special event, and the front desk surprised us with a bottle of wine and a cheese tray upon check-in. This was so unexpected, as we had never stayed at this hotel before. In addition, we had a large, clean, comfortable room and will definitely be back next time we're in Nashville. They provided customer service at a level you just don't see very often any more. Thank you for a great stay!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Ric41 Dissappointed platinum member
Hotel was not worth the price, elevator wait, old and run down. The Shower and restroom are nasty. Lounge snacks and breakfast are not worth it. There is no special treatment or line for a platinum member at check in..

Rated 2 out of 5 by wife1 i expected so much more
i chose this hotel for its location and its recommendation on trip advisor. no refrigerator in the room! the second day no replenishment of all the towels even though i had opted for full service. the water pressure in the sink was so poor that my husband could not use it for his grooming. coffee, yes, but the cups had no sleeves after the first day. and if you want your guests to recycle then provide 2 waste cans in the sleeping area and 1 in the bathroom. and was the bottled water complimentary? if so, it would have been nice for someone to tell us so.
i know i sound picky but you are charging premium prices without providing premium accommodations.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Wiley52 Rooms are dated
The rooms could use some serious updating for such a classy looking hotel. There was a large metal electrical box in the wall above the bed with a metal cover. Looked like something you would expect in a barn, not a hotel room. There were stains on the couch, the air filter was disgusting and doesn't look to have been changed in years. The light by the couch, where you would read, would not turn on. The thermostat kept resetting itself to a colder temperature. We were not pleased with the room for the price. The location is OK, but quite a walk uphill if you plan to take in the night life. Next time we'll stay at the Hilton. It's more expensive but worth the extra money.
