Rated 5 out of 5 by AJ30 Perfect Anniversary
Our 3 year wedding anniversary was a few days ago so I decided to book a room in downtown Nashville for a quick getaway to my wife's favorite resturant that night. We were greeted warmly at check in, the valet service was timely and we even had a complimentary bottle of champagne waiting for us when we got back from dinner that night. I usually don't review my hotel stays but this warranted a stellar recommendation. Next time we are in Nashville we will be staying at the downtown Sheraton!

My father and I stayed for one night at the Sheraton. While we were on the road, my mother bumped us up to 'club level' as a surprise. She called to confirm 3 times that a room would be available, and they assured her it would be. When we arrived, checked us in, and when we got our room, it was on the 6th level. I inquired about the club upgrade, and only then she told us that they didn't have a room available. We went to our nonclub level room, only to get a call 20 minutes later that our club level room was ready. We had to re-check in and went up to the 24th floor. When we got there, the room had no robes, no running water from 10am-5pm, and shower handle was broken. I will say that the attendants in the club lounge were very accommodating and helpful!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Ericmcj31 Disappointed
We were disappointed in our stay. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly, but the room needs improving. No refridgerator, the faucet in bathroom was broken, coffee maker was broken, cleaning lady left our room dirty, low flow shower head, and to top it off we were told we'd have to pay $15 for wifi! Oh yeah, and $28 daily to park is a bit absurd when paying sheratons rates. We've stayed in much lower "grade" hotels and been much happier.

I had a horrible stay, it took over an hour to get checked in. It took over 30 minutes for hot water to arrive at the room. The room service breakfast had burnt and cold english muffins, runny white eggs and one cup of tea. Not at all worth $30 for breakfast!

I feel that this hotel needs a face lift due to the heating issue, outlets were pertruding from the wall, water pressure was too strong and renovation was ongoing during my stay. I am also a Starwood member.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Jetpump Unhappy about early departure charge
We found the room to be clean and satisfactory but the beds were the most uncomfortable we have ever had in a hotel.
We did not realize there was an early departure fee when we had to leave due to impending weather coming, we will look for a hotel that does not charge this fee in the future. The front desk clerk said it would be removed but found it still on my bill when I returned home.

This was my second time staying at the Sheraton in Downtown Nashville and I would recommend it to anyone. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly helpful.
I suggest you use their valet parking, I arrived Friday and never used my car until I needed to leave. The location is a few blocks from the main action in town and well within walking distance.
The rooms are beautiful and the bathroom clean, clean, clean! The water pressure is amazing in the shower, and always hot.
I am looking forward to next years trip and I again will be staying at the Sheraton.
