We arrived rather late and were given a very lovely suite with amazing views.
We had dinner just the first night in hotel and there after went to some amazing restaurants.
The Executive Lounge is small and cosy however i was shocked to find a North American young man enjoying his takeaway with the total consent of the lady duty manager in the club and at the same time inflicting its horrid odour throughout the lounge much to the dismay of other guests.
This is unacceptable.!
Front desk and Concierge were wonderfully helpful at all times especially BRUNA.
I strongly recommend you stay here and also have the advantage of the great shopping mall attached to the hotel.

I have stayed at numerous hotels all over South America. This is easily the best one yet. Will definately use many more times.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Traveler49 Hotel does not honor confirmed Non-Smoking Room Reservations
After flying all night, even though I had a printed confirmation for a non-smoking room for my stay, the hotel offered me a smoking room. I am allergic to tobacco and did not take the smoking room. I had to wait for 3.5 hours until I was given a non-smoking room. The hotel facilities do not lend for long waiting periods! I was exhausted from my trip and could not rest adequately before I went to work at noon.
To my surprise, I was charged for the night and showed in my bill as a no show! Obviously, this is not the case (not true) as I showed up but my room had been given up to someone else.
It has been my worst experience so far! I will try not to go back to this hotel.

Far too expensive for what it is, but Montevideo lacks decent options. Location is good for business as short drive to WTC and attached to a shopping mall for a quick meal.
Rooms are dated, as is the lobby. Breakfast ok, but not worth the price if it's not included in your rate. Pool and gym are so-so. My main gripe is how poor value this is, considering it's nothing but a 3-star passing as a 5-star.

Service was poor and slow overall.
I was constantly misled regarding fees. I was told that in room wifi was free, but I was charged. Additionally, I was charged per device so I got hit twice for my iphone and comp.... Thats $30 a night for computer service. I also love the $15 cup of chicken soup that actually wasn't chicken soup at all.

Sheration´s rooms are new and very comfortable. Excellent views from the Pool and unbeatable location next to Shopping Mall and the Rambla. However, Front Desk needs to be more sincere in customer service and pro-active in its communication.

Quanto ao Hotel e os funcionários, tudo foi normal em um Hotel, porém, limpeza geral e café da manhã deixam um pouco a desejar em se tratando de um Sheraton.
Uma coisa muito desagradavel aconteceu por ocasião da festa de Reveillon.No dia de meu check-in(27/12) fui informado que já não havia mais disponibilidade de lugares para a festa.
Ora, me senti humilhado pois se um Hotel como esse não reserva um minimo de lugares para os hóspedes o que fazer?
Procurei outro lugar e me dei mal, pois os preços e a qualidade não eram o que esperava.
Estava programando as próximas férias e vou pensar mais a respeito de ir ao Sheraton de novo!
