I stayed at the hotel for a business event. On concluding the first day of my event, I arrived in my room prepared to enjoy the Friday night episode of a favorite program, I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED to discover that your hotel does not carry Univision. This is a travesty, that a first-class Sacramento CA hotel does not carry a major Spanish-language network. I am very offended.

Check in was awful. Long lines and no one available at the Preferred Guest line-- of course I find this out after minutes of waiting in vain then told to get in line behind the 6 people who came after me.
Valet was a mess too. We waited 15+ minutes for our car and were told multiple times it was coming but they forgot to get the car 3 different times.
Now onto the room. The bed was so uncomfortable that I took the bench cushion from the window seat and put it on the couch and slept on it.
The club lounge was great , really appreciate that perk.
The day staff is definitely better to deal with than evening staff.
Generally come to this hotel 3-4 times a year, but not after this last experience.

Pretty awful. The web site crashed while booking, they didn't honor prepaid parking, internet had problems, and they didn't cleanu one day even after calling down. I had the King Suite and expected better, as the price was not cheap.

Location was very convenient to the convention center. Room was nice, comfortable and clean. Hotel restaurant offered good breakfast choices but the dinner choices were pricey and quite limited (although the food was good). No amenities shop/newstand to speak of. Used the business center for computer access and encountered problems with two of the terminals - finally found one that worked.

This hotel has a good location and nice facilities, but my experience left something to be desired. When I called to change my reservation, the agent quoted a price over $100 more than my original booking, and when I said it was too much he "found" a lower priced special. My room was at the end of the hall across from the stairs, which felt insecure for a single woman traveling alone. The room was clean but the phones were both dead, and the sheets were falling off one of the beds. I also do not recommend to a woman traveling alone to go out after dark in this neighborhood. I was only a few minutes late for breakfast and could not get anyone to bring me food.
Perhaps they were overwhelmed

GREAT HOTEL. Keoni (?) was excellent in checking me in. Long line to wait to check in. Also, never enough valet to bring your car and you cannot call ahead. Only request would be to add a refrigerator to the rooms. Also, I requested high floor and got 12. Housekeeping was excellent and the gym was very nice. No water though.

The room was excellent as usual but I wish we would have brought our own booze. $28 for 2 double vodka gimlets made with Smirnoff! Despicable, when a 750ml sells for $10 in the store! I expect to pay a little more, but come on! Food was great!

Our reservations were last minute and we had our grandchildren with us. The staff was helpful and attentive. Our room was spacious, pleasant and clean. We used the pool and the fitness center. Room service was prompt. It was a treat for all.

Hotel staff were all very polite and helpful during a busy convention. The hotel provided good catering services. Room was large, clean and relatively modern. Bathroom was acceptable.
Rooms were well sound-proofed - not a lot of noise heard from the corridors and nearby elevator. Only negative - hotel charges for internet in rooms.

My son was married on Saturday, September 15th, 2012. They hotel allowed an early check in for the groom and groomsmen to get ready in the room which was very special... We ended our evening in the hotel with 10 rooms including the bride and groom.... They rooms were beautiful, very comfortable and the hotel staff was very pleasant.... Dinner at Morgan's was a treat! This is a first class restaurant with a creative menu, beautiful food presentations, and delicious cuisine. Service was also excellent. We look forward to other meals there on future visits.

I liked this hotel. My room was spacious for one person, had a window seat, a leather wall, a comfortable bed with extra pillows and white linens. Everything was clean. Because I opted to forgo maid service, I got two $5 certificates to use in the hotel restaurants and I got a free mocha, croissant and juice my third and last morning. Even though the pool is small, I would have used it if I had brought my suit.

First, when I arrived I told your desk staff that my work pre-paid for the room. As a matter of fact I called in the CC# myself a week before my stay. They said it was not prepaid and immediately took the full amount out of my debit card.
Second, you have only one retaurant, no room service, no gift shop, and all the businesses including stores close at 5pm. I was stuck. I had to eat your restaurant.

I checked in a was given a handicapped room. It was not at the same level as other rooms with comfort and furniture. I asked why they did not tell me and they responded that it was not listed in their computer as handicapped. Perhaps, people need to ask this question prior to checking in?

We have stayed here before and like the hotel. However, this time the ice bucket leaked and the bed was not as heavenly as it could have been. I would still recommend the hotel.

The hotel looks like it had a recent update, new carpet, everything is beautiful. The one flaw was I heard the elevators running up and down all day and night even though my room was a bit removed from the elevators. Otherwise a wonderful experience.

In the heart of downtown Sacramento,this upscale yet welcoming hotel provided all the right comforts for our family. Walking distance to the capital,great cafes,bars,theaters..and a short distance from old town Sacramento,we had no shortage of things to do.The pool and gym were small but enjoyable,but the real highlight was the staff,who were helpful and accommodating every step of the way. Highly recommended and we will definitely return.
