The entrance to the room was wet and the carpet near the bed had a stain and wet as well. The toilet paper holder was broken when I walked in the bathroom. Lots of construction going on and rooms were noisy. I was only at the pool for 20min and it was closed down. I had 3 kids with me and had to walk to the other hotel to use the pool. Elevator didn't work at one point :( not so much a relaxing vacation

Disappointed in the Sheraton. When I checked in they asked if I need an accessible room on a lower floor, I said no, it had been booked for me. They upgraded me to a deluxe King Bed room right next to the Elevator Bank. I spent 6 days listening to the elevators going up and down. Thank you for the upgrade. Room was neat but dirty. Blood on the bathroom door and cookie pieces in the closet and by the bed.

The staff was very friendly and helpful and the grounds were very well maintain. However, the bed was horrible. Not only was it stiff and uncomfortable, there was no mattress pad and every time I rolled over the springs would squeak. The pillows were leaking the down filling and tiny feathers were everywhere which brought on an allergic reaction and I didn't sleep 2 nights in a row. The bed was HORRIBLE!

We stayed at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel because it was the host hotel for the AFC half marathon and I am a SPG member. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are awesome. They all have beautiful views of the harbor and city. We checked in early and went directly to the pool. We enjoyed a glorious day around the pool and the service was good. We rented bicycles from the spa. That wasn't so easy, since they only have 6 bikes available for rental and 5 had already been rented. We needed three. We had to wait until 5:30 pm, but it worked out since we only wanted the bikes for an hour. We had dinner in Quinn's and the service was perfect!! Food wasn't bad either. Since I was running a half marathon in the morning, we ask for a late check out but they had already reached their maximum for late checkouts. Oh well!! All in all, the stay was wonderful. The hotel was very busy, but the employees still tried their best to keep everyone happy.

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the last 10 years. I even stayed here for our Honeymoon 10 yrs ago. This last weekend was a big disappointment. I payed for a Bay Room High Tower, and also called in the day before requesting a high room in Bay Tower only and a fridge. When I arrived, Bay Tower was sold out, and they wanted to put me in Marina Tower or first 2 floors on Bay tower, but did not want to give lower price since it was not room that requested. After a half hr of debate, they gave me a handicap room, which was not what I wanted. In addition, requested a fridge, and they said they could not provide since was for milk for a child. Our friends stayed in another unit this same weekend, and requested a fridge for insulin, and were also denied even though they said medical reasons would work. Terrible service, experience, disappointed in there lack of care, they acknowledged the notes on account, but did not even care to resolve.

upon arrival was greeted immediatly with a warm friendly smile and from there on everything was perfect. mark checked us in and mark took our bags to the room from that time on they all used our name whenever they saw us. we went to several starwood properties on this trip but my wife and i decided next time to just stay at your hotel as it had everything especially the first rate service. thank you all

My wife and I decided to take a vacation so we decided San Diego is the place. Now we go there alot and always stay at another well known hotel, but this time we decided to stay and the Sheraton San Diego Hotel and Marina and we stayed at the Bay Tower and it was a beautiful view and that is all it was.
The staft in the BTL Lounge was rude and had no idea what was going on When I confronted the front desk they were totally disagreeable,
Now for the room the electrical socket in the bathroom was coming off the wall the bathroom is way to small , the tub needs a handle because of the drop when you get out of the shower. This is a non smoking hotel but people were smoking in their room and when I reported it they said they would look into it . We stayed five nights and I will not go back to that hotel unless I did not care about my families health and just wanted to stay for the view.

The manager Dina and the staff did an excellent job and really went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.
The food at the restaurant was excellent and the chef went the extra mile to make sure my wife who has celiac disease got gluten free.
On such a crazy busy spring break weekend I felt the staff did a great job as they did on my previous visit.
I will be back and thanks Dina and staff! :-)

This is a super convenient and comfortable hotel. Great location for access to airport, downtown, sea world, beaches and the water. Hotel has all the intrinsics....pools, gyms, club lounge, marina and water sports, shuttles. Two areas of opportunity--the food is overpriced and of an underwhelming quality and taste; and the hotel seems short staffed all around, particularly restaurants and club lounge.

I booked my room through AAA and what I got was less then expected. Although the room was nice it was way over priced but for the location that may be the norm. I'll know better next time. I will let AAA know about my disappointment. I was booked in a deluxe tower room which I believe we did get only because the room Sheraton had us in was a Lani which I believe is not a deluxe room.

This hotel was great but the parking sucks try to park at night and see what I mean.Told the front counter and no help at all,they told me this is a on going problem and told me to write a letter to starwood,They said I could use the valet parking but I am already paying $ 22.00 a night the hotel was over booked with a convention

We were not aware prior to arrival that parking was an extra charge, we would like to know that before we arrive.
Our room thermostat did not work, we informed front desk, and were able to open the patio door for fresh air, but that won't always be an option for other guests when the weather is warmer.
It would be nice to have concierge available in the hotel we stayed in rather than going to the building a distance away.
Our bathroom needed more thorough cleaning on the ceiling due to mold .
For a hotel of your reputation and stature, we would have expected that internet would be free. We did complain and get the charge reversed but in our estimation that should be included in the price.
We were able to use our Spg gold thank you cards for the employees on site who went above and beyond their scope of service to help us w/ our needs. There were three that we acknowledged during our stay.

As SPG gold members, we enjoyed all of the perks of the Club Level. The hotel amenities, views, staff, and location are unsurpassed. However, the bed in our room was very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jensk Hotel has an excellent view
Close to the airport, but far from other places of interest. Shuttle only from airport even though, a bit isolated. Not very competitive with other hotel chains. Does not offer extra amenities e.g free parking; coffee in the lobby area; free wifi in rooms and even have to pay for toll free calling. Some of the staff were not very acquainted with the area and unable to provide facts on restaurants.

This is not a comfortable hotel. The room air conditioning is terrible, and it is too noisy outside to keep the balcony door open. There are few nearby dining options, and the ones that are there aren't very good (overpriced and below average quality). The line for coffee at the Starbucks inside the hotel could be 45 minutes, and there really were no options.
The airport shuttle is great, though!

Received a decent upgrade as a SPG platinum member. The studio suite was ok, but the layout could of been a bit better. The club lounge was decent with excellent view on both sides. I just wish that the parking situation would be a lot better. Paid $22 to park on dirt road. And the standard policy of placing two set of towels should be adjusted. No bottle water in the "suite" which was a surprise.

We loved the price, view, location and the room. We enjoyed some time by the pool as well as just sitting in the room and watching the bay. The location was easy to get to local attractions and shopping.
We did have a few issues.
1. The self parking was a bit of a pain. We had three card keys but only one would open the parking gate. If I was going out without the family I was not sure if I ever had the key to open the gate. I usually didn't.
2. We asked for the room to be made up on our second day when we left to see the town. i called the desk and they said it would be done. It never happened!
3. The web site said there was a Wii center for the kids. I called the desk and they said it was in the other building (1/4 mile walk). I sent the kids and they were told it was closed. I think that should have been made known to the desk in our building.
4. No map of the property made available.

I stayed there for 1 night for an early flight out the next morning. Upon arrival the Valet was as expected and polite.
I arrived at front desk and was seen within 1 minute. (time was 9:15 pm.)on a Monday.
I had called at 1000 AM to let the hotel know that i would be out of work late and expected to arrive around 9pm. I booked with 10000 starpoints for a low floor room with a king bed.
At the desk i was told, sorry no king beds left. Here is your double bed room.
especially when I called ahead to make sure my room was not given away, on an off season slow weeknight, I would expect to be given a room with a king bed. Be it an upgrade or not. But when it as a staff mistake that forces me out of my reservation, I expect an upgrade to meet my reservation bed type. I have stayed in many SPG hotels through out the US , and the Pacific and this is the poorest guest service I have received. At no time did I feel like I was getting good service after walking up to the front desk.
On a good note the room was very clean and had a nice view.

Beautiful, clean hotel and close to everything. We especially appreciated the free breakfast in the mornings. We found the Happy Hour we were able to attend on Saturday evening a bit disappointing, though - it would be great if the offerings were fresher (hey, lots of fruit is in season right now) and the presentation a bit more creative. More modern, upbeat music would help the atmosphere, too.

Terrific view. Love having a balcony even though it was tiny. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Conference facilities were just average - not enough tables set up for sessions. Coffee should have been available throughout the day not only at certain break times. One downside was Quinn's Lounge/Restaurant in the hotel - terrible service. Not enough staff - had to wait entirely too long.

Beautiful location and most of the staff very helpful. Hotel completely overwhelmed with our convention. Very slow food service in bar, which was only restaurant open at night. Starbucks in AM had line so long that it was impossible to get coffee in time to get to meetings. Not staffed for numbers.
Had an 'outside' access room with a slider that would not lock again once I opened it, since it was off track. Had to get maintenance to lock it, and then could not open it again, which defeated purpose of access to outside. Carpeting in hallways to these rooms is filthy and access required carrying luggage up and down a set of outside stairs. No bellman assistance upon check-in, which I assume was again a staffing issue.
Nice feature to have free access to computers, but several did not work and I was told that IT would have to eventually fix them. by the staff person I called over for help. Printer down the whole time which meant going to the Kinko's on site and paying for that service.
Meeting rooms on lower level should not be in use at all. No air conditioning made it very uncomfortable.
Luncheon hosted by event in ballroom had good food. Service poor. Our table never got coffee or tea and lunch was served to half the table with a wait for others to be served.

The only problem I had was with the front desk staff on check out. My company had a 2 day meeting there at the hotel and ran a little late ending at 1:00pm. I called to see if I could get a one hour extension to check-out and the clerk was quite rude stating that there would be an extra charge for that hour.
I have stayed at many hotels and this is the first where I hve ever had this problem.

I came during Comic-Con so I expected it to be really busy. My room was clean, except for the fact that my duvet had a gross stain on it. The shuttle service is nice, and the drivers are great if you're trying to get somewhere on time.
The location is nice if you're wanting to stay by the water, but it's kind of a trek if you are trying to get to the convention center and surrounding areas.

Two experiences are particularly noteworthy. First, I neglected to cancel my wake up call before I left the room. When I got back, there was a knock on the door by the bell hop to make sure I was ok. Second, I lost my glasses. Security found them, protected them and returned them to me at the concierge desk without making me feel like the fool I was for losing them in the first place!

Although we live in San Diego, we had a two night stay at the Sharaton Hotel, to enjoy the sunshine, and downtown San Diego activities. This was a very nice and relaxing hotel with friendy staff, and I am sure we will be back again soon. The club lounge was nice, and had some good food.

Waited a long time for the shuttle at airport. Was excited when getting to hotel, little did I know the real hotel was about half mile away and very small.
Was told and sheraton there were no shuttles anywhere. Spent hundreds of dollars on taxis. To find out that there was a shuttle at Main Sheraton for 1.00 on the last day of the departure. Was totally mislead by staff. Very dissappointed.

First of all, we were 8 couples "deep" in the check in line, and only one desk person was working. Secondly, once we got to the room finally, tried to contact guest assistance, and took 4 seperate tries calling to finally reach someone. Thirdly, with the amount of $$ we spent on our room, you would think it came with FREE Wi-FI... not the case, have to pay 14.00 a day ! Never staying again

all three of the parties that i booked into this hotel had to move 3 times during our stay due to a foul odor in our rooms. this vacation was ruined because of this. staff did not seem real sympathetic and all we got was 50 bucks off one night of our 4 night stay. i am an amputee so all this moving was not pleasant for me. in fact we had to repack and move our luggage ourselves each time!!

The hotel tower had great views of the harbour and island. Room and beds very comfortable and clean. Reasonable rates. Front desk was very helpful.
Room cleaning was late (up to 6 p.m. one day) and also dirty dishes from room service were left in the hallway for about 18-20 hours. Staff apparently walked past them several times while cleaning rooms.
Food was good but somewhat expensive.
