we enyoyed the stay at the sheraton. it is a quality place. it is near to just about everything and the view is fabulous. the beds could use wrapped full coil mattresses for better comfort. maybe in the next round of upgrades, this will be included.

This is a beautiful location, with lots of friendly staff and tourists. The atmosphere is excitedly relaxed, which makes for a wonderful stay. Whether you are on business or holiday, the hotel has an enviroment that fosters what you are looking for!

The hotel serices was wonderfull. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only problem was a big line up in fron desk with few people serving the costumers. The key to elevators kept being disactivated and you had to go to the desk frequentely!

Our room was invaded by Ants on the 4th floor, and as they did move us, nothing else was offered. The Concierge gave wrong directions 3 times. The AC in our 1st room was stuck on and made the room a meat locker. All they did was say turn it off.

The View from our room in the Bay tower was great!! We're from Phoenix, so a water view was very nice.
We spent our days in the city and got back to the room early just to enjoy the view.
We had dinner at Quinns, nice food and a marina view.

I have been coming to this hotel for over 10 years and always have loved it. To me the location, room accommodations, views and staff can't be beat. I will continue to look forward to staying at this hotel in the future.

We had a very nice large, king room overlooking San Diego Bay and North Island. The balcony with sliding door was wonderful, as we were able to have our coffee in the morning and a cocktail at night overlooking the bay. It was also nice to be able to turn off the heating and cooling in the room, open the door and get fresh air.
We were traveling with our dog and she enjoyed it as much as we did. Harbor Island was perfect for taking walks with our dog.
We were in the smaller property facing the bay and preferred it because it was more secluded. The fact that we had our car was helpful since there doesn't seem to be any public transportation nearby.
This hotel had only slight negatives for us. The room noise (from other rooms, ice machine and hallways) was loud, thus the "good" rating on room comfort. The helicopters and aircraft from North Island didn't bother us. We enjoyed the food in the restaurant, but feel that the serving staff probably need some more training. The service was spotty and no beverage refills were offered during breakfast.

Major breakdown between upper management communication with staff. Have been coordinating and attending these types of conferences for over 20 years. Worse experience I have ever have. Would never book this hotel for a conference again.

If you get the chance to stay at the Harbor Tower, ask for the south side. The sunsets are awesome.

Comfortable and clean with a great location and lovely water view. Very good service at the desk.
Suggestions: shower cap. Also have the maids check whether the TV is plugged in. Mine was not and it was difficult to move the heavy dresser.

Unfortunatly our stay in the lanai room was bad, that whole section feels like your staying in a motel. once we were moved to the tower, the rooms were beautiful and thats when it felt like vacation. Would stay here again but in tower only

Nice hotel, great views, nice room but not particularly accommodating staff or policies. I travel for business every week. Maybe this hotel is not meant for travelers. Nickled and dimed for everything!! Food was fabulous but too expensive.

We had to revise our agenda and had to speak to five different representative before all was resolved. 800 number has very poor service. As well most of the front desk staff seemed lacking in knowledge. Nice hotel, but poor service.

Most Hotels provide wireless Internet service at no additional charge. Sheratons not only charge but the service is too slow to watch videos.
The staff kindly made an adjustment to our bill when I discussed it with the check out staff.

This waiter did not fit into the nice atmosphere of this high class hotel. He never smiled and was unfriendly. We waited 15mins with nothing until he showed up. He did not revisit us and ask what we need after putting food on our table.

Stayed at this hotel one night for the Comic Con Convention. Facilities were exceptionally clean and service and hospitality was excellent! Very helpful staff and our room was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again

I stayed in this hotel in December and paid 1/2 of what I was charged this visit for an inferior room/view. At 3:30 am there was a party in the hallway that would not quiet down after requested... I was very disappointed in this visit.

Excellent location, great views. For the most part the room was clean although the light switches and light fixture itself had not been cleaned for some time. There seemed to be a dark shadow around the light fixture and upon examination I touched it to see if it was a stain and a big piece of dirt/fluff fell on the floor. The same was on the light fixture itself and in the connecting room bathroom to ours.(I took pictures) After waiting 2 hours for housekeeping to help us with remaking a bed that our child had been sick in we had to call again. Felt that was a bit long to wait. Also parking was an issue. There were events at the hotel 2 of the 3 nights we were there. We were told we could only park in 1 parking lot as the other was reserved for the events. After paying$22 per day to park we felt that we were not as valued as the patrons who only needed parking for the evening. With a small child and an infant, parking in the dirt parking lot quite a distance away was an inconvenience. Other than these issues it is a great hotel with a beautiful view.

After a long drive from Arizona we decided to stay at this location. From the minute we drove in to the shuttle that took us to the airport it was excellent service. The pub inside had great food awesome service and cold local beer.

Sheraton found us a room at the last minute after being disappointed with another hotel in the area. The room was beautiful as ever over looking the marina. The staff was so helpful and nice. Will always book here in the future.

So you have this great policy on environmental stuff, but there is no place to hang a towel in the bathroom. Not a rack, just the robe hooks on the back of the door.
If I can hang up towels, I don't need clean ones every day.

I reserved a marina tower suite for the 4th of July. When I arrived with my family, sister and nieces I learned they did not have my room. They claimed to have given the room to someone who decided to stay an extra night. I'm not sure how that works since the room was obviously not available. I was "upgraded" to a bay tower suite (2 rooms with door in between) and a view of the construction site at the San Diego airport... not a very nice room. Also the bay tower pool isn't as nice as the marina tower pool and only has one restaurant, which wasn't open when we were there. Eventually, after a trip to the bay tower and back, and way too much time at the front desk, we ended up in 2 separate rooms in the marina tower. It was 6:15 PM. I had arrived at 3.
Overall I felt like the staff was reasonably friendly. The marina tower pool was nice. The restaurant was pretty good too.
But... having the room I reserved is the most basic thing a hotel needs to do. And they didn't do it. Also, I expect to be in my room within a few minutes of checking in, not a few hours.

Though I checked in at exactly 3pm as required, my room was not ready. I therefore had to attend a conference session starting soon after encumbered by my baggage. Check-in staff did not offer any assistance with this problem.

The hotel accommodations were great and the restaurant/bar were good as well. The only issue is the location is not within walking distance of any other restaurant, bar, or attraction. Overall though a very pleasant stay.

There are two towers to stay in: Marina and Bay. My stay in the Marina Tower was fantastic. Great view of the boats in the marina plus the sunset and sunrise against the San Diego skyline. I recommend the Marina Tower!

I did not know what to expect when my daughter booked this hotel for my stay in San Diego. I was stunned. Being part of the marina area was great.
The service and food was excellent.
I will stay there on my next visit.
