Not expecting the construction with driveway
and entryway torn out.
There were no signs in front or instructions of
where to go. That could be improved.
Looking forward to returning when improvements are completed..

Upon making the reservation I had requested a pool side room. However when I checked it I received a room on the opposite side. If you are not going to look at our request then why have them on the online reservation.

I only spent one night here, but it was a nice hotel. I primarily chose it for its proximity to the airport and I could take a shuttle to catch my flight. The room was bright and clean and the staff was accomodating.

The heating in the room was not working and there was a puddle of water on the floor. My package was delivered to the wrong building. I was given a room in the wrong building. The air handling in the roomn was noisy.

Nice hotel on the Marina. The rooms are quiet and comfortable and people are nice. But the parking charge of $22 self park in a dirt lot with a fairly big walk just bothers me every time. This may be a deal breaker.

The phenominal views from almost every room in the hotel to the fabulous service from everyone working at this property it's top rate! Small negative is you are very close to the airport which does yield some noise.

Club lounge has excellent views of the bay, marina and San Diego town. Excellent service on our first night. Breakfast in the main restaurant was superb with great choice and quality, along with views of the marina.

We love coming to the Sheraton Harbor Island for a staycation but this time the hotel was not well kept. There was trash by the doors for hours, general area were not well kept -- it just seemed shabby this time.

The rooms and view from the rooms were great. The parking situation is terrible with no advantage to being a SPG member. You pay $22 a day to walk a block to your car. seems like a poor way to treat your members.

This Sheraton met all the criteria I personally require when choosing a hotel.And knowing myself,I am very picky and difficult to please when it comes to services rendered to me by a merchant.

The room was filthy; there was blood on the walls in the bathroom; the lampshades hadn't been cleaned in years; filth along the tops of the tile in the bathroom; towels had been there for days; etc., etc., etc.

As SPG gold members, we enjoyed all of the perks of the Club Level. The hotel amenities, views, staff, and location are unsurpassed. However, the bed in our room was very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced.

SPG check in was fast & efficient. Room was comfortable and clean with a great view. Free internet to print our boarding passes to leave. Starbucks coffee in the room. Everyone smiled and said hello. A winner!

EVERYTHING WAS GREAT !! THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS TRAYS OF PLATES AND GLASSES WERE LEFT IN THE HALLS OVER NIGHT AND THE NEXT DAY. AND THE SMELL OF SPENT JET FUEL WAS REAL BAD ! IN THE ROOM WITH THE PATIO DOOR SHUT.

The parking lot is dirt and gravel, not what you would expect from this wonderful facility. Bring a pair of tennis shoes for the walk to the hotel entrance and don't bother washing your car before you arrive.

the hotel has great views - i especially loved the bay side. enjoy balcony without having to view other guests. i believe the bathrooms are too small - perhaps make that the next upgrade. overall great hotel

Hotel was really good. Receptionist on check-in was great. Check out not so good. Never asked how our stay was or even a thank you.
Conceige was good and bad.depending on the time. Not very helpful at times.

Great views of San Diego Bay, Marina and City, especially at night. Close to Airport but not a big issue. Good shuttle facilities to the Airport, Town and to key places nearby. Happy to recommend to others.

This Sheraton is directly across from the airport. Not an ideal location unless you about to catch an early flight. Very crowded and not clean. Water stains on carpets. Directly hot tubs. Poor room service.

I stay at a lot of Sheraton Hotels. Location proximity to the airport, and the Harbor are Nice.
The room was very small. The beds are not the Sweet Sleeper beds I've become accustom to in Sheraton Hotels.

Though I have confirmed 2 double beds for 2 rooms, room keys were for 1 king size beded room for 2 rooms. So I had to go down to the front desk again to show a copy of confirmation and ask them to change.

Really? This is Starwoods?
Imagine checking in with three bags and a wife in a wheelchair. Imagine nobody offering to help. Imagine that they give you the room that is the absolute furthest from the front desk. Imagine that they blow off any idea of a bellman being able to help.Imagine finally getting to the room to find there is almost no room for a wheel chair, the toilet is slow to drain, the sink takes overnight to drain, there is no towel rack, the shower button doesn't work and we have to take turns holding it open for the other, the journey back to the hotel center is a 1/4 mile long, the lounge serves us watered down drinks, and the internet in the room makes no mention of a charge until you have spent 5 minutes getting setup to log on. Oh...the internet is free if you go all the way back to the lobby.....perhaps someday Sheraton will realize that charging for internet just ticks people off. It is nickel and dime treatment, like charging for a glass of water or to turn on the air conditioning. Anyways, I traded in my Starwoods points for a 2 star experience. Never again.

The only complaint we had for our 3 day stay was that the pool was closed on Sunday for cleaning and there was no seating available at the small pool. Room was very nice with great view from the balcony.

1. The air conditioner was NOT in sync with the thermostat. I set it at 65 for the whole day and when i returned at night, it was still warm in my room. Unit was obviously not working.
2. Internet was expensive, yet super super slow.
3. Parking was expensive, yet I had to park in a dirt lot.
4. No cheap eating options. When you're stuck at the hotel for a conference and your eating choices are limited to the eateries in the surrounding area that is in walking distance, its annoying to have such limited options.
5. Thanks for all the towels, but lacking hooks and racks to hang wet towels is annoying.
6. It would be nice for the tv to work consistently. I was able to get volume on the hotel channels, but on cable channels, it was iffy at best. Kudos to the guest services staff, though. It was nice to be addressed by name and they sent someone out to repair the tv, though it didn't stick.
7. I hope your fitness center, when completed with repairs, is awesome. The outdoor one I experienced sucked.
8. The staff was really nice.
9. I dug the $5 vouchers for skipping housekeeping.

Be warned, you will pay at least $22 for parking. We were not aware of this until we already booked the room and it was at the very bottom of the confirmation e-mail. We also had additional fees and taxes that tacked on at least another $30 to the bill, and on top of that the hotel put an extra hold on our account for $100 FOR NO REASON. They said it would fall off (and of course it takes days for that to happen), but they had already taken the money for our bill, so there was no reason for that. I was also told we would get a Marina view when I called and booked the room with a woman right on the phone. She said it would be much nicer because we can watch the boats coming in and out at night with the beautiful lights. We got to our room and we were on the opposite side, with a nice view of buildings and the bottom of the hotel. Not that I expected anything to be free in a 4-star hotel, but I guess I'm not used to hotel restaurants being so expensive. The food was pretty good, but I would hope so for the money we paid. This is a really nice hotel if you have a lot of money to blow.

The service is incredible - thank you Marta. The views are spectacular. The rooms and amenities are terrific. The location is very convenient and central. Sheraton SD H & M is great - best in San Diego!

I had the best stay at this hotel. I upgraded to a suite with the Marina view. It was all spectacular. Amazing...Room was very nice. Bed was extremely comfortable. Awesome Stay. I'll be back for sure!!!
