Rated 5 out of 5 The responsiveness and kindness of staff
Two experiences are particularly noteworthy. First, I neglected to cancel my wake up call before I left the room. When I got back, there was a knock on the door by the bell hop to make sure I was ok. Second, I lost my glasses. Security found them, protected them and returned them to me at the concierge desk without making me feel like the fool I was for losing them in the first place!

Rated 4 out of 5 by frequenttraveler used room ?
It was apparent that someone checked into my room(501) and left for another room. ALL Starbucks Coffee packs where missing, water bottles where missing and you could tell someone/s had sat on the bed. It was already after midnight and I only had 9hrs to rest, so I stayed. At least under the bed-covers had not been disturbed. As a PLATINUM member, I was was/am very disappointed!

No news paper. No credit. Door lock malfunctioning. Reported to desk. Nothing done. Prices way too high. Employees generally very good. I still cannot see any benefits of being a preferred guest

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kim1234 Fantastic Hotel
The hotel was a very nice experience. The staff was helpful. I felt like I was on vacation for the entire stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Fantastic views from both of our rooms. Nice job! We will return soon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by bobbyb too few staff at front desk
had to wait for front desk and room service staff
Hotel lobby looked odd without any front desk staff. If one staff member must leave to service a client, another should immediately replace them. Waited about 10 minutes without any staff at the desk. That's a long time for your standard of hotel.
Room service staff was unavailable to take my order. By the time they called back, it was too late and I changed my mind.

Rated 4 out of 5 by lakwatsera Front office not aware of room locations!
We checked in on 5/9/13 at abt. 8:30 pm. at 1380 Harbor Is. Drive. I had pre-paid room accommodations. Even presented my SPG Award card. Front office lady gave us the key to rm. 1180 & instructed us to take the elevator to 11th floor. Spent more than 25 minutes looking for room. Even called Concierge from house phone on 11th flr. Was told to keep looking! WE were so tired that night after spending the whole day at SD Safari. Finally went down.. an old client who was in the front office at that time was the one who told her RM. 1180 was in the other Sheraton Bldg. & had to take the shuttle! Front office staff needs to be oriented properly - we wasted our time looking for a room NOT in the bldg.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jane Stay at Sheraton San Diego Marina
Terrific view. Love having a balcony even though it was tiny. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Conference facilities were just average - not enough tables set up for sessions. Coffee should have been available throughout the day not only at certain break times. One downside was Quinn's Lounge/Restaurant in the hotel - terrible service. Not enough staff - had to wait entirely too long.

Wonderful, courteous staff which were very accommodating. The room was not completely clean on my late night arrival. The glass shelf above the toilet had the last customers toothbrush and wrappers on the shelf. There was popcorn on the rug which was obviously not completely cleaned before my arrival. The rug had an uncomfortable dampness which may be from the San Diego location. I am not particularly happy with having to pay $12 daily for Internet access. I earned 2 $5 coupons for not having my room cleaned for 2 of the 4 day stay. I left the 2 coupons with my breakfast charge and they were not credited to the charge. Finally, there were no shower facilities in the spa. The restaurant food was excellent. For $220/ night the experience was not up to value.
