Bathtub plugged up 3 times - had to request 3 times. Bed a bit weak - mattress too soft - pillows too flat .Small stain on room carpet should have been noticed by staff. Error on bill took a bit too long to remediate. ( room was agreed At lower rate- last day was higher but ultimately rectified. )pub restaurant Fish and chips and burger not good. Staff helpful and friendly - great gym - main restaurant food was good and staff always excellent. Very nice surroundings - good ambience - manager was helpful,in getting the lower rate- everyone tried to be helpful. A good experience but room for improvement.

I was impressed at the level of attention that we received in our short stay. The front desk agent Elise went above and beyond to ensure that we got checked in without a hassle. Adrianna at the SPA was one of the friendliest people I have ever met, as well as Fabreeze at the bar

This is a great hotel, except for the crazy fees which seem to be endemic to all SPG properties.
$19/day for 3mbit internet? Is this 1999?
$2 for a phone call? $6 for a diet coke from the mini bar?
Common guys, I know it's the trend to make the hotel appear cheaper on search sites, but this is ridiculous and makes me feel duped and that I'm getting less value for my dollar.
The hotel itself is in a great location with great facilities, friendly staff, clean rooms, etc. Let's just throw in the internet and make the extras a little more affordable, and people might actually take advantage of them more often instead of treating the mini bar like a nuclear waste facility.

Booked two rooms and ended up in two towers. Very different quality. Marina Tower Club room was classy, clean, but small. Lanai Tower Pacific Suite was so not worth the price paid. For a suite price, it wasn't really a suite. Kind of small, and run down. Even the bed linens felt rough. Disappointed that my Club room did not allow access to the club lounge at first. I went for assistance at the lobby, only to be accused that I had set it next to something and demagnetized it. He shouldn't have made that judgment because I had it in the little paper sleeve the entire 10 minutes since I checked in, not touching anything else. It just wasn't programmed correctly to start. Subtracted stars for that! Swimming was lovely! $24 to park is outrageous! Sorry, but please consider lowering that cost.

I was stunned to be brought to my room to find the ceiling stained, the wall paper peeling and the furniture nearly to bare threads. Even the bellman made a remark about the state of the room on the 11th floor of the marina tower.
We requested a change (not only because of the room state but because the staff disregarded my request to be away from the elevator and put me exactly abutting it) only to find a room in similar condition on the 8th floor. At that point the front desk said all the rooms are in the same condition. I excepted the room and was happy to depart the next day.
The bellman was exceptional, including running down to the front desk to retrieve the key to the new room.

Quick shuttle service from San Diego airport. Comfortable large room with wonderful view of the city and airport! Very attentive staff. Although, not centrally located to the city, you're only 10 minutes by cab to the main tourist area and the public transit is readily avilable. Even though this is more of an airport hotel, I'd stay here for a regular visit to San Diego as well.

- Beautiful surroundings, e.g. pool, marina, lobby.
- Excellent guest services such as the airport shuttle, computers, airline boarding pass printing.
- Close proximity to airport and city buses. About an hour leisure walk to downtown if preferred.

We had a great experience. We love S.D. and have become spoiled bySPG but your hotel was truly more than I expected.Fab property, great location and top quality, friendly service. Jessica at rooms controller and Cecilia at the concierge desk went out of their way to make sure every part of our stay was tops. As usual, the facility was clean and exceptionally well maintained. Most of all, friendly. Wait staff, valet, guest services, all made us welcome. As I told Jessica, after 40 yrs in customer service,I notice the little things and appreciate those that do the same. Thank you.
