The thing that stood out most about this hotel was the excellent service provided by the concierge team. Unfortunately, I could not recall their names, but one concierge staff gave good recommendations on the places to visit/dine at. Subsequently, when we made the decision to watch Sichuan opera at a local theatre late one evening during our stay, another concierge staff offered to help us pick up the tickets at the theatre while we grabbed a quick dinner. Such thoughtful assistance made the stay a memorable one.
Was also pleasantly surprised by the good spread in the club lounge and the warm service provided by the staff in the lounge. It was indeed interesting to watch the interactions/dynamics between some long-stay guests and the staff.

Facilities were clean, current, and modern - what you would expect of a Sheraton. Did not use the pool. Breakfast buffet was great. Club Lounge had excellent staff and good food selection. Have to remember that this is western China and not Shanghai or Hong Kong, so the food is different and English is spoken much less. Staff very helpful and eager to assist. Some staff limited in English. Great location next to subway, bus stops, and can walk to Tianfu Square and even Changxi shopping area. Concierge eager to help and Martin very knowledgeable. Guest Service Mangers such as Jesse eager to assist and are capable.

GOOD: Staff were generally very responsive. Concierge sevice and door service were both good.
On this point, I'd like to highlight reception staff Stella, Cici and Moon, who were very helpful indeed when I wanted to change rooms.
BAD: Staff were also sometimes quite curt. I've ordered room service and felt like I'm imposing on the person on the other end of the line before. But this may be due to it being peak hour and it all being very hectic.
2. Rooms and Room Amenities
GOOD: I was on SPG level 20 for a week and then 26 for 2 weeks. The room I had was spacious enough and amenities were good. Generally pleasant.
BAD: They have, for some reason unfathomable to me, decided to put some sort of padding under the carpeting, which makes this very annoying sound when stepped on. Like you're stepping on bubble foam. It was very irritating and for that reason I requested Cici and Stella to help find me a room that doesn't squeak. It turns out all rooms do, but they did try their best and checked out several rooms, which I appreciated. I've asked if others have complained about this and they've told me no one has, so maybe it's just me.
Also, do NOT get rooms facing the main road unless you're a very deep sleeper. The noise is very irritating and is present at all hours. People seem to love using their car honks at all hours of the day and you WILL be awaken by this unless you sleep like a log. You could get a room facing the back (the stadium), but be ready for a relatively much smaller room. I decided to endure the noise for a larger room in the end. I'd highly recommend they go for sound-proof windows.
GOOD: Some variety, super huge portions (not sure this is a good, but I'll just leave it here).
NOT SO GOOD: Coke severely overpriced at CNY 40, even for a luxury hotel. Generally not very vegetarian friendly and taste was just so-so.

Good location, nice hotel and very helpful staff. I would stay there again. Only issue was the noise until 11:00PM from the stadium next to the hotel.

Close to metro, stadium, IFS, pandas. The staff really did everything they could to ensure that my stay was comfortable.

The hotel is closely located to subway / rail transit station which is also quite central to many local attractions.
Staff are considerably friendly, especially those at the club lounge and concierge. English is still a challenge for most of staff but better than some Chinese hotels we had stayed.
SPG status is well recognised, e.g. upgraded to suite, discount for restaurant. Disappointedly, on our last day, the whole floor was very messy and dusty due to cleaning up of air-conditioners of all the rooms. We were seemed to be the only guests left on the floor for that day.
Hotel facilities are rather old. Pool and garden area are in need of improvements or upgrades.

Thank you the night duty manager to help me sloving the internet problem. She was kind and understood my needs. Also, the front desk staff which help me to check in was friendly, i remember she is a internship in here during my stay from 17-19 Sept.
