Rated 5 out of 5 by spgfella84 Great and understated hotel! I stayed at this hotel on several occasions, and never left without feeling pleased and welcomed at this hotel. Staff are excellent and polite, and always willing to go the extra step to make you feel comfortable. Hotel maybe a little old, but still is luxury and clean, and without fault. Facilities (especially the spa and workout area) are great, but could use more variety at the restaurants for those who like to dine in-hotel once in a while. 2014年1月31日

Rated 3 out of 5 by Sperry8 Old hotel, not the best location You can tell this hotel was a luxury hotel back in the day. What a sight the lobby must've been to visitors who came when it first opened. Sadly, the hotel is in dire need of a refurbishment. It certainly cannot be considered a 5 star luxury hotel any longer. However, even with that said, it's not a bad hotel and the service is very good. Rooms: I was upgraded to a large suite with views overlooking the river and old town. It had a huge living room with separate bedroom. There were comfy couches and chairs to sit on (but no throw pillows). The room has a safe and ironing board. Bathroom: The bathroom had a decent shower head but was otherwise old. It actually still had one of those old wall mounted hair dryers that belongs in a museum, not a five star property. Service: The service was fantastic. Everyone had friendly smiles to offer and made my stay as pleasant as could be. Amenities: They have a nice outdoor pool and a less nice indoor pool. There is also a hot tub (which isn't too hot) a very nice sauna and a well equipped gym. Location: It's a 15 min walk to the nearest metro and a 20-25 min walk to the old city. It's not terribly far - but the first restaurants/cafes are in the old city and going back and forth every day to/from lunch and dinner started to get annoying. Platinum recognition: 1- Upgraded to suite 2- Provided buffet breakfast and 500 points. Buffet breakfast was decent. Not wonderful, but good enough. 3- Offered a free 1/2 hour massage as we welcome gift along with a nice fruit plate. Nice touch! 4- Access to happy hour in the club lounge, from 6-8pm, which is nice and has a little balcony where you can watch the sunset. Sadly, the food on offer in the lounge is not good. One day they offered a cup o noodle dish. It's not staffed and they only have a few beers in the fridge. If you get there later... they are gone. They'll restock if you can find someone - but since the friendly staff comes and goes, it's hard to find them. They also closed up the food 20 minutes early one evening, even though I was sitting in the lounge (I wasn't eating it anyway, but still, taking it away 20 minutes before 8pm is bad form). 5- Given huge amounts of free water (more than I could drink, without asking). 6- Free wifi, which had to be some of the slowest wifi I've seen in years. It's 2013, time to upgrade! Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but if I wasn't chasing points or wanting Platinum amenities, I'd stay elsewhere. If I was, I'd still have to think hard about whether to return here or go to another property closer to (or in) the old city. 2013年9月7日
Rated 3 out of 5 by Slyman DECEPTIVE wording on "Social Hour" The big signs inviting guests to sample Georgian wines during Social Hour leads one to believe that these samples are complimentary. NOT AT ALL! You are served an ounce or so of wine and are charged GEL 2.50. Sheraton should PRINT this information so that others are not also deceived. I do find this interesting that on the day I went to "Social Hour" I was the ONLY person in the room. The waiter did not speak enough English to explain how the "sample" worked. Also, the carpet in my room badly needs to be cleaned. Another point: The hotel "taxi" was available only one time during our stay. When asked why it was available one time, but not another, I learned that the hotel prefers that guests use the local taxi services. Ordinarily that's not a problem, but the first time we used a local taxi at the hotel the cab driver doubled the price once we arrived at the destination. What should have been a GEL 5 fare became GEL 10. We refused to pay the GEL 10 and he threatened to call the police. We gave the cab driver GEL 5 and left the taxi. 2013年6月22日
Rated 2 out of 5 by omid Check in I checked in on 3rd Feb 2014 at about 10 pm and when i entered to the room there was no slipper and bottled water, i called room service and they said they will provide within 10 Min , after 30 min a lady knocked the door and gave me slippers and when i asked bottled water , she said I don't know, call room service again, I called and asked again , room service said after 3 min and it took again more than 20, of course the reason that i mention all those , is because i love the place and i would like to see it is running perfectly. 2014年2月4日
