Rated 4 out of 5 by Good for family holiday We stayed 9 nights and quite satisfied . Some recommendations : hotel and rooms requires some renovation and bakery must be really improved at buffet.Overall quality of the food is very good but missing fresh and tasty bakery ( croissant , bread , etc ) especially for the breakfast. Staff is excellent , very friendly and always ready to help. Good location , but the sea side is a bit dirty than the rest of Jumeirah Beach but not so critical. January 12, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Highly recommend Trying to choose a hotel to stay for our first visit to Dubai was a little overwhelming choosing on the internet from over 490 hotels. I cannot express enough how pleased we were at our choice. The Sheraton was the best. The food, the service, the hospitality. The staff were so proud of the hotel and their workplace, so nice to receive excellant customer service in todays society. July 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by They Wow'd Me My daughter came with me for a week in Dubai to look at apartments and houses, we might be moving there. We stayed at this hotel because it is in the area we are considering moving to. Because I'm Platinum I got an instant upgrade...but they didn't have a suite with two double beds available...so they gave us an absolutely wonderful Garden Suite, 2 bedrooms, 3 bath, full kitchen, living room and patio with patio set for coffee in the morning. The Breakfasts in the Club Lounge were great, the staff is wonderful, and snacks are availalble all day. At night there is a Happy Hour and once again, everything is tasty and the staff bends over backwards to make sure you're comfortable. I loved it, will keep my people at this hotel when they come to work with me...I love this place. And, the private beach and great pool....you really need to try this hotel out! Lastly, one night they had Christmas Carolers in the Lobby, they served hot spiced wine (Glu Wein) & Christmas Stollen (great German bread). It was wonderful. December 14, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by The only place to stay If you want a beach resort holiday in Dubai, then the Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Hotel is the only place to stay in my opinion. I have been going to Dubai for the last 18 years and have seen its infrastructure change so much but the Sheraton Hotel on Jumeirah Beach has only got better. It is easy to get around Dubai by taxis which are not expensive or by the Metro or the new Tram service, so this Hotel offers a great base to do all your exploring and shopping and a great place to relax when you want to do nothing. The facilities and restaurants are fantastic but best of all is the staff, they are so friendly and helpful and efficient in every detail. November 24, 2014

Rated 2 out of 5 by Hotel need to refurbish We were looking forward to our last night stay in Dubai at Jumeirah Beach and we checked in to this hotel at 6pm on 5 Dec 2014 with my wife using my 12,000 starpoints and a suite night award. This was the last night we are staying in Dubai after a one week vacation. However, to our disappointment, we found that the "suite" offered is really disappointing and the condition were appalling. As such, we requested to change the room to deluxe room with balcony despite already used my suite night award. To our disappointment again, the room condition were not much better. Being a frequent traveller, i have stayed in many starwood properties and was never disappointed with any of the properties. However, on our very last night of my vacations, we were both disappointed. One key problem was the rest room, which were not well maintained and really in need of upgrading. My wife actually commented: "We might as well stay in a budget hotel for the night." Thus, we decided to check out immediately and found ourselves another hotel to settle for the night. To add on to the displeasure, i was not offered to redeem back the starpoints that i have already used for the booking. However, i do have to comment that the hotel staffs were polite and assisted with my requests professionally. December 7, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Poor Platinum Treatment -- Avg Hotel Traveled in Spring with wife and 2-year-old son I checked in with our friends. I have Platinum status - they have none -- as in no status. We both booked 2 seperate basic rooms - us on cash and points and them on a paid rate of like $500 US. Separate reservations. Upon check-in I was told, 'congratulations, you have been upgraded to a Tower Ocean View Suite.' Wow, I thought, I didn't even have to ask. This came with the whole Platinum you have been upgraded key-card slip. Went up to our room. And? It was a tiny mid-floor room facing the street and construction. No suite. No partial ocean view. Nothing. I called down and expressed my concern and asked to speak to a manager. She got on and said -- 'no, you haven't been upgraded. he must have been mistaken.' I asked how the desk clerk could have made that mistake? She then said, OK we will transfer you to an ocean view room. So we were moved across the hall. Same room, better view. No suite. No upgrade...The best part? Our no-status friends were given an ocean-view room upon check-in -- a better room than us! Even though we checked in at the same moment and availability was the same...shady business at this place. I asked to speak to another manager after this and someone who said he was a manager, but whose nametag said otherwise, insisted there were no upgrades available and had no anwser why our friends got a better room than us... Bad attitude here. There are plenty of better options in Dubai. Look elsewhere. October 25, 2011
