Rated 2 out of 5 by UGHHHH Checked in, ok experience. Took a shower and found hair throughout the bathroom. I told the people at the front desk, and their response was "do you want to keep this on your Visa?" This was NOT a SPG experience... May 18, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Good, but not great Our stay here was fine, but nothing about the hotel or breakfast was outstanding. I have had better breakfasts at other hotels. Food was lukewarm and boring. Room was very clean and bed comfortable, but bland. I would not seek out this hotel or other Sheraton locations based on this stay. Good location for downtown SLC sites. November 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cleanliness and friendliness The staff is so friendly and helpful. We called the hotel at one point while we were out walking in SLC and they sent the airport shuttle to pick us up. The room is very comfortable and the beds are incredibly soft. The Starbucks down stairs is a huge plus. The on site restaurant was great. I would definitely stay here again. March 1, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Great room but no sleep We booked the junior suite to celebrate a special occasion. The suite happened to be on the 1st floor. At 1:00 AM we were awoken by the sounds of stomping and jumping in the room above us. The stomping and jumping did not stop until 2:30 AM when we finally called the front desk to complain. Rated 3 out of 5 by Needs improvement Room key didn't open gym access even after the front desk reissued keys twice. Room key repeatedly lost function to access room. Front desk failed to mention spg club on check in. Room needed to be vacuumed and room walls had writing on them? Overall the staff needs improvement as does the decor/cleanliness of the rooms. Rated 2 out of 5 by Terrible wi-fi connectivity My travel is business related and I require reliable wi-fi connectivity. I did not have this at this hotel. The connection I did have would last no more than 20 minutes; I was dropped at least a dozen times! I phoned Sheraton tech support to no avail. Important work did not get done as a result!! Rated 4 out of 5 by Restaurant and Location The hotel restaurant's service was very slow. It took forever to get the bill. The location of the hotel wasn't the most desireable. The area seemed a little iffy. Had homeless people approaching us while loading the car and there was a motel across the street with police activity going on early in the morning. September 13, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Super clean, comfy beds, helpful staff! We stayed for 4 nights while attending the convention of Jehovah's Witnesses in Ogden. We found the room to be impeccably clean, the beds super comfy, and the staff truly helpful. The restaurant offerings and prices are good; our favorite being the veggie burgers with black beans and guac...a great deal at $8! Save yourself a few $ and order "take out" and go down to the restaurant to pick it up yourself instead of doing room service. We ordered two and the order was mixed up giving us only one, but my hubby only discovered it after opening the containers in our room, and realizing he had only paid for one, not two; when he called to order another, they realized what they had done and told him not to come down, as they would bring it up without charging for room service. Staff reached out to the kids, including one waiter who positively stuffed our kids' pockets with mints...somebody knows how to make 2 and 4 yr old's happy! Rated 3 out of 5 by Room and restaurant were not great We were given room 801 which is much smaller than the other rooms and the hotel was not full. Te restaurant has very few vegetarian options and is a significant downgrade from the prior Olio. Serve burgers in the bar area, but include more fine dinng options in the restaurants. Rated 3 out of 5 by disapointed Had to change rooms as heat did not work.Slider door did not close properly,single pane windows were dripping with water from condensation.no internet in rooms,Every few minutes you would hear a loud noise (perhaps connected to heater).TV extremely basic.Buffet breakfast was very basic and expensive. Rated 3 out of 5 by The Average Sheraton SLC Sheraton is a good hotel from an industry standard perspective. Comfy beds, good club room, friendly staff; what I always expect from a Sheraton. The rugs in the hallways/elevators are a bit tired but otherwise a nice look and feel. It is an average hotel in a good location (if visiting SLC). July 14, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by WiFi issues in the Garden Rooms Good hotel nicely refurbished and huge rooms. It consists of two types of accommodation - the tower good size rooms, and decent WiFi; and 2 floors of garden rooms that encase a central garden, pool, etc. Its a pretty long hike around the garden and there is only one elevator at one end of the loop which means an even longer walk if your room is the other side and you don't want to drag your suitcase up a flight of stairs. The garden rooms are even bigger than the tower rooms but the AC units are noisier and I generally turn mine off at night so I can sleep. (I've stayed many times at this hotel.) Most alarming is the WiFi in the garden rooms which drops out and is terribly slow even if you are sitting next to an access point. The hotel doesn't manage the Internet access so they are powerless to fix issues and two hours on the phone to the company that does, hasn't so far fixed anything. They do claim to be in the process of thinking about replacing or upgrading the Internet access though. February 16, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Hotel is a bit outdated I had higher expectations for this hotel. My actual room was fine but the room door was incredibly heavy. I mean, VERY heavy. The toilet also didn't flush so well unless you smashed the button in. The front desk was very helpful and nice but I wish they had mentioned there was an airport shuttle. March 20, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by A nice stay I am only stays away from platinum. I have had some ups and downs here. I was upgraded to a loft, there were some chocolate covered orieos waiting (the kids loved them) and everything was great. all in all a great stay. Next time here i will be platinum so I will update you as to how that goes. April 3, 2012

Parking was full when we arrive and hotel offered valet but had some difficulty finding someone. When we checked out could not find a valet and we had to go to front desk to get help with the car. This hotel may be an older building but has been renovated/remodeled with fantastic service, comfortable rooms, all the outlets you need as a business traveler, good gym and club floor and finally is very convenient to downtown SLC. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great spot, warm , friendly staff This is a return visit for me. I love the location because it is a great spot for someone who enjoys walking in a glorious city. The shuttle to and from the airport is wonderful. The staff is professional, friendly , task oriented. I will continue to stay there when I visit Salt Lake. December 17, 2013

All things were great except one of your bellmen? was very rude to us when we were asking to retrieve our luggage that had been stored at your hotel since our room was not ready when we checked in. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of Temple Square and restaurants and shopping. I attended a conference at the hotel, and the meeting rooms were setup properly with the correct working equipment. October 11, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Sleepless in Salt Lake the $10 charge for internet was enough for me to not come back but the heating fan ran every 4-6 minutes and it roared. Tes I measured it. I felt like I was awake all nite. This felt like a diansaur of a hotel. Staff was friendly enough but I felt like they all knew the joke was on me. March 1, 2013

The hallways seem to stretch forever but once you make it to the rooms they are spacious and clean. The hotel is starting to show some wear and tear but it is a convenient and clean place to stay. Rated 5 out of 5 by Such a comfortable room with a fabulous bed Great location. Close to the airport. Very clean rooms and friendly staff. We were kindly upgraded to a club floor. Fabulously comfortable bed and very nice club lounge. Excellent value. We will continue to stay on our way to and from Deer Valley when we fly in from Florida !!! January 6, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by No Electrical outlets in room I have Sleep Apnea and use a CPAP respirator to help me keep breathing when I sleep. In room 714, I could not find an electrical outlet at the head of the bed. I had to pull the bed away from the wall and unplug the radio/Alarm clock so I could plug my CPAP in. Very inconveinient. The staff made us feel very welcome in particular T.C in the 10th floor lounge and Susan in the bar. Scored some great seat for a concert from Bob at the ticket office in the hotel. Had a great time and will be back soon! March 21, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Room not ready I pre-paid $240 for a room that wasn't ready at 5pm. I have been Platinum for several years and most Starwood hotels even allow you to check-in in the morning of your stay, but to not be able to check in after 5pm is not good management. My corporate rate was also not availabe. June 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Highly recommend this hotel to anyone in spite of my trip being short, for a quick meeting. I can still speak highly of the Sheraton Hotels as have stayed in other Sheratons throughout the country. All of them have been clean, pleasant, good food, accommodating and comfortable. And, Yes I would stay here again in a heart beat! January 31, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Sheraton Interior & Customer Service It was a just quick overnight but the place was big, clean and remodeled with contemporary interiors similar to Westin. Staff was very attentive to our Platinum status and room service at midnight was quick and delicious. Don't judge the location by the exterior. It's a winner! April 15, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Lacking Problems from check in to check out. Restaurant was horrible. Bad food, bad service, surly waitress and manager. Involved hotel manager and still wasn't satisfied. We all refused to eat here following al of our horrible experiences. Will NEVER stay here again. February 23, 2014
