We stayed here in late December 2013, on a deal that included parking in the carpark under the hotel, and buffet breakfast for two. This is a great arrangement for people unfamiliar with Sydney, as you can leave your car and walk around, and not get charged $40 an hour for it. Breakfast was also good, excellent range for vegetarians and good signage for vegans. Hotel is properly grand, staff all very competent and the bathrooms are better than you have at home. This was our second stay on the same deal, and both were great.

We stayed at the Sheraton on the Park for 3 nights in early Feb. Hotel is immaculate - well presented and is evident that a lot of thought and attention has gone into the decor with interesting artwork etc. Location is great across the road from Hyde Park - we walked everywhere from there. We were with our 2 year old daughter and don't think the hotel was appropriate for her. The marble bathroom floor gets very wet with the shower and could be dangerous. Would suggest that the hotel really improve the information about the hotel - the tv information service is very minimal and poor. I don't think we truly understood what services were available. And as a result have an average reflection of our stay there. Suggest people do their research or ask!

We stayed 4 nights at the Sheraton during the Easter holidays. Every staff we came across with was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and bed comfortable. We particularly loved the location of the hotel, which is an easy 15min walk to Circular Quay, Chinatown and Darling Harbour, not to mention it's only across the road from Westfield, DJ and stone throw from Pit St Mall, QVB....We also caught the free bus 555 which stops across the road from the hotel.
IF anything to fault, I would say the bar fridge in the room was not cold enough as the yoghurt we bought from outside was still "warm' to touch after putting it in the fridge for 1 day.(fridge was turned to max already)
But in conclusion, we would definitely recommend it and return ourselves.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your beautiful hotel. Nothing was a problem for any staff we spoke to and at reception they were extremely helpful and obliging with our requests. Can't wait to come back.

Very central to CBD and transport. Very large rooms - beautifully appointed - large bathroom and comfortable beds. Excellent location - only drawback is that the wifi in the rooms isn't free and the time downstairs is limited.

We were underwhelmed by our stay. We advised the night manager on the 2nd night our a/c was not working as the room temperature was over 25 degrees. We were moved rooms at midnight having first been advised of no spare rooms and a fan would suffice. Our next room resulted in the night technician spending a half hour in our room trying to fix our television. We wanted to eat from the buffet on the Saturday night but were advised there were no tables available until 9.30pm. All in all an expensive and stressful "quiet weekend" away.

Simone at the reception shared my excitement over scoring my personal best in golf on the previous weekend, by offering me a bottle of champagne sent to my room, with a very kind note congratulating on my personal best score in golf. It was one of my best experiences I ever had at any hotels I've stayed in my life. I would like to thank her once again for her great attention and caring for the hotel guest.

I stayed in this hotel for one night for work. Breakfast and accommodation were prepaid two weeks prior to my arrival. Amount on Tax invoices I received when checking out is different from that showing on my credit card statement, breakfast was charged again after I left. I contacted the hotel accounts staff, they said they would contact me back, but never did...had to chase them up for the correct bills. Why do I have to spend time showing them that I have paid and they have made mistakes... Poor service, very dissapointed.

A rewards night booked with another night meant additional time at check in & that we may be required to change room - fortunately that did not happen..Unnecessary conditions . The room key had to be re-coded to get access on the second day. Again unnecessary time wasted & the access to the Club room had to be reset .21 floors up & down to reset.

I've stayed her a few times before and it was excellent - however recent changes have made the experience less enjoyable. Notable differences:
1. Breakfast buffet selection has shrunk (used to be more hot food options - fish, chicken and a manned egg station)
2. Executive Club Lounge members had the option of eating breakfast in the club or in the downstairs restaurant. This option has been revoked, meaning that there is no breakfast option before the club opens at 7am.
3. Other benefits that I used to enjoy seem to no longer be available (but which other 5* hotels still make available) - making my stay experience less "seamless"
4. Managers seem not to be biased to "delighting the customer", with issues taking an inordinate time to resolve, causing frustration!

I took my elderly mother to Sydney and we stayed at The Sheraton on the Park, we have stayed before, but this trip was much better. We had club benefits, which is so worth it, you meet some wonderful people over a drink in the evening, or at breakfast. The staff were so friendly and willing to help with any of our needs. We will definitely stay here again and I will recommend my friends to stay there as well.

I booked this motel having stayed I with Sheraton on previous occasions with no issues. However two big ones this time. To start I booked a prepaid rate, which advised that the amount would be deducted at the time of booking. I was happy with this as it offered a good discount. When we checked in we were asked the purpose of travel and i advised it was my wife's birthday. We were offered 2 complementary glasses of champagne, which was a great touch. However, despite us showing the hotel bar the complimentary drinks voucher, they still showed up on our tab and also our bill and we were also charged, and still have been, for the complimentary drinks. Secondly, upon checkout we were charged again for the room When I checked my bank account I showed reception that I had already paid and was advised that I would not be charged again and I would receive a call or email from accounts on Monday to clarify. Having not received any contact I checked my account to find that I had been charged again, no contact at all. Contacted hotel, was told sorry but accounts have gone home. Described my frustration and the person on the other end said they would look into it and get back to me, still no response. On top of that the original amount deducted as a prepaid rate was significantly more then the email confirmation received. All in all a very disappointing experience with more solution and I'm still out of pocket.

From check in to check out the staff at the Sheraton met all my needs and went above what could be expected in looking after me. Angela followed my booking from the moment I checked in and made sure everything went smoothly. The noticeable improvements because of this were very much appreciated. If the hotel maintains this level of service I would have no hesitation in recommending a stay here to anyone.

Our most memorable moments at the Sheraton on the Park in Sydney was the way staff treated you. They had excellent, friendly and helpful service and were genuinely interested in hearing your comments if everything was to your satisfaction. At the current prices for Club facilities the venue was worth it, but if the cost was higher then we would have considered another hotel. Keep up the excellent work and thank you to everyone for making our stay enjoyable. We will definitely be back and highly recommend the hotel.

I thought some of the staff were rude, especially the concierge, but it might be the Aussie way. Mini-bar and room service prices are exorbitant. Also, the web site provided inaccurate information (it said that a taxi from the airport was approximately 35 $). We reported this to the staff and I am pleased to see that they now have corrected it to the actual 55$ we paid. I wish the correct info had been posted when I traveled.

This hotel is very professional and friendly at the same time (not an easy thing to do) Relaxing yet sophiticated decor adds to the feeling of luxury. Very well situated in the centre of Sydney for shopping and business whilst also being able to access the park across the road.

Spent 7 days here and found this hotel to be very accommodating. This Sheraton is located directly across from Hyde Park and as Sydney is a very walkable city, this hotel is situated within easy access to major attractions.
The Club Lounge is a wonderful benefit with outstanding service and amenities. There is even afternoon tea provided in the Lounge on weekends. The gym, spa and indoor rooftop pool are also nice touches.

We booked a room at Sheraton on The Park as last minute decision for our final night in Sydney. It ended what was a wonderful week in Sydney in spectacular fashion. We were so impressed with the room but it was the bathroom that really blew us away. The black marble tiles, timber panelling and lovely fixtures was just the surface. The massage feature on the shower head and the strong pressure of the water was exactly what we needed after a long day driving. In addition, the deep, full size bathtub was also a bonus. It is the biggest hotel bathroom we have used and we have stayed in many hotels. In addition, the comfortable king size bed and blockkout shutters allowed us a great night sleep for the long drive home the next day. Unfortunately we couldn't stay longer......I would have loved to use the pool.

Another memorable stay, four visits in four weeks. The staff go above and beyond to make sure that you enjoy your stay. From the porters to the concierge, front desk and bar staff they are all first class. Special mention to Robby at front desk, when checking in this week he recognised us from a previous stay and again made us feel so welcome and made check in a breeze. The rooms and facilities as always are well maintained and of five star quality.

Not received as return guest, just another number! Again request for specfic room not available, understand occasionally. Room cleaning each day after 1pm! Room not properly cleaned, towels not changed and no soap on 1 of the days. On the Sunday we arranged for a 'late' check out for Monday 8th only to have guest services ring us 11:35 Monday asking when we were checking out, clerk said request was not noted! How good is that?
Been with Sheraton rewards (we paid USD25/year) since mid 80's and since SPG has replaced the the previous program we have noticed extreme changes to the attitude of check in clerks greetings of return guests especially in the last 10 years. It is all about 'ME", they know it all, they treat you like you do not anything on registering etc in their "greeting"

I booked two rooms for one night direct with Sheraton on the Park. When I booked the rate was $179 per night yet my card was charged $394, two days later it was charged $394 again. When I rang up about the problem they said it was rectified and I was charged another $179. I rang account again and left 2 messages and did not get a return phone call. eventually the problem was fixed however it took 2 weeks and I still did not get a return call from accounts. Hotel, check and everything else was fantastic.

As a family of 4 we were thrilled to have had the hotel allow our 2 children in the same King room with the rollaway bed option. It was perfect and the room was a good size for us all!
The Hotel staff were warm, friendly and efficient. Our check in and check out process was great.
We had a restful night's sleep in the comfortable King bed and the full block out blinds gave us all the opportunity to sleep in!
The Park, Stay and Play package was excellent value for money way for us to enjoy a short getaway as it was a convenient location close to the CBD shopping district. Breakfast & parking was included.
We wish the pool could have been bigger and the spa was at the time being serviced. A poolside atmosphere was lacking given the indoor facility. It would be useful for wet and in cold weather though.
