I booked this hotel for the park,stay & play rate for a special Christmas treat with my 5 and 7 year old children just prior to Christmas. We were treated wonderfully and upgraded to a beautiful room. The interior design and quality fixtures, fitting and decor was of a very high standard. Everything was true to the Sheraton brand in comfort and style. My kids loved their late night iced chocolates served by a very charismatic young lady. Our breakfast was exceptional and all our interactions with staff on reception, room service and concierge were very positive. The location of Sheraton on the Park is wonderful for pre christmas activities, shopping and its close proximity to everything you could want for in a City stay. I am considering making it a yearly treat for Christmas. Thankyou Sheraton on the Park for a truly wonderful and memorable stay.

If you want comfort and convenience as well as a touch of luxury in Sydney this is the hotel to stay at. Convenient to everything such as tourist precincts and shopping and opposite lovely Hyde Park which is so relaxing to walk through. Within walking distance to Surrey Hills and Paddington as well.
Room was beautiful and room service kept it lovely and clean while using a green program which was impressive. The breakfast was amazing. I can't say enough about the hotel. Fantastic.

The hotel is located at the center of the city. It's very easy to go to every tourist site by foots and it's really close to public transportation.
The staff of hotel are very helping and make me feel like home.

I called the hotel as an SPG member and asked for the cheapest rate, given that it was last minute and as a Sydney resident I didn't need to stay, it would just be easier. I was quoted around $400 for the night. I ended up booking via wotif because there rate was $200. I think for last minute deals, you should match the going internet rate.

There were pants, tangerine and half bottle of water on the desk when I checked in my room. Apparently the room was not cleaned. I waited with my daughter in my husband's room for a clean-up. However, when I went to bed, I noticed that the beddings had not been changed. A lot of hair on the bedsheet, pillow case and quilt cover. This is not the service that a 5-star hotel is expected of.
Anyway, thanks to Om who changed the used beddings.

Staff could not identify me as a SPG on arrival, Late check out request wasoffered at additional cost, my requested room type which was prepaid was not available & the staff member was quite charcastic in their sincerity....I refused any offer as compensation I merely wanted what I paid for....I have stayed many times previously & have always had a fantastic experience...this time was a distant comparison, will reconsider my next stay.

We have stayed on many occasions due to eye operations and our sporting side and have found on all occasions the staff are the most pleasant and helpful. It is impossible to name any one member as they all excell from the time we arrive and are greeted with assistance from the porters to the very efficient check-in. The in room dining service is of extremely high quality as is the fare. The staff at the Exec. Club are the most helpful and go beyond what one would expect.

There are so many hotels, so it isn't easy to where to stay unless you are a local. Sheraton on the park is just perfectly positioned btw Hyde park and NY 5th avenue like Cathlereagh street, within walking distance to most of city attractions, opera house, the rocks, darling habour, and easy to shop around for boxing day shopping spree. Service was punctual and kind. Room & facilities are average but value for the money considering the time of a year.

I love Sheaton on the park, always my favorite stay. Most ideal location. First time I had a problem and disappointed I had to phone SPG to sort out the problem.

Loved our stay. From the reception staffs, concierge, doorman, housekeeping and breakfast attendants - everyone was a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble and their proactive attitude was to be commended. Such a difference in customer service and you could tell that these people loved their jobs and genuinely wanted to help. We only want to stay with Starwood now.. Thank you.

I just had a fantastic stay at Sheraton on the Park. Stayed for two nights and the beds were awesome and the staff very friendly. Would definitely stay again and recommend. Very central if you are not familiar with Sydney.

Was pleasantly surprised with the decor and size of room..Huge bed, given I'm 200 cm tall I dont usually get to state this. Im not sure how else to explain what was good about my stay other than the Hotel delivered everything I expect from a 5 star. It delivered what it said it would..there was no falsehood promises to get me to stay..I just love that about a hotel. It does what it says it will do..weirdly, this is refreshing.

I had the Seafood Buffet today and it was exceptional. Not only was the food of the finest quality but the presentation was a feast for the eyes.
The staff were excellent, especially Linda she was delightful, friendly and courteous.
An amazing lunch as you would expect at the Sheraton on the Park.

As a regular guest at Sheraton on the Park it was our logical choice to stay while my wife recovered from a foot operation. The efforts of all, from room service, Feast restaurant and the executive lounge to accomodate my wife (temporarily wheelchair in tow) was exceptional. Such a warm welcome even though we knew it was difficult for all. A stay like this reaffirms ones belief that we have picked the best destination in Sydney.

This is my first experience with an SPG hotel
overseas and I have nothing but praises for the Sheraton on the Park. The room was specatular with great views of Hyde Park. The staff at the Sheraton Club were extremely professional and provided great service. This is a perfect location for shopping and within walking distance to many tourist attractions. We had such a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed for 2 nights at $810 per night which included access to the Executive Club. The first morning we went up to the Executive Club at 9.15am for breakfast, there was a shortage of food and not enough staff to keep up with the demand from patrons. We were served coffee in paper cups as they had also run out of cups and saucers. We didn't bother going back the next day and advised other guests of our experience.

This Hotel is the most beautiful in Sydney , one in which i got married , but the level of service has certainly gone down hill . Wife booked my birthday stay with WOTIF.
Got to the check in told that because we booked with a "third party" we would have to stay in a twin single room . not the king park view we booked, but if we had booked through the sheraton we would have been able to have a king room ,meant nothing that i have been a gold starwood preferred guest member for over 20 years , got the manager and after an argument he found us a king room ,
Room aircond was not working , so asked for them to fix it whilst we were out ,were told they did , we got back late and the aircond was not fixed . had to move to a new room at 3.30 am , new room was next to a service door ,this was slammed by uncaring staff from 5 am on . This was the worst stay in any hotel in 20 years .

The Central location of the Sheraton on the Park is very Pleasing, we were able to use the guest parking facility with ease.
Reception was excellent,we were in our room in no time at all.

Sheraton on the Park Sydney has many features to entice the traveller, however location, efficiency and empathy for the traveller, would have to rate as the major drawcard for this hotel. The Staff is able to meet your every need, whilst at the same time being non invasive, and always professional. The hotel is extremely quiet, given its location in the heart of the city. Rooms are spacious and well appointed and are serviced to perfection. The Sheraton prides itself on its standards and nothing is left to chance.
Every staff member is there to assist you in whatever you may require. This is done efficiently and with a minimum of fuss.
The restaurants are well appointed and offer an eclectic array of choices, as does the morning and afternoon tea area and the cocktail bar.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys a quality 5 star experience at an affordable rate.

It was great that we could get into our room a little early instead of having to leave a luggage down stairs.
the blockout shutters were a great idea to help us slepp even better.
The bed was fantasic except for the pillow was to big, it would of been nice to have a couple of different sizes maybe on the lounge.
I would 100% recommend your hotel to everyone

Me, my wife and our baby recently had dinner at feast restaurant on Christmas eve, when i made the booking i told them we will need a baby chair, provided them with our SPG member and advised them it was my wife's birthday dinner. I only asked them a simple request for a plate with happy birthday wording and a small cake and they advised me they will prepare for it. (we had dinner at four points hotel darling harbour last year for our wedding anniversary and requested the same and i was really happy with the arrangement)
We came to the dinner and no baby chair on our table (we had to ask the server), the table was set up for 4 people (it didn't seem the table was prepared for us). We paid double price due to the Christmas eve and they rushed us to be finished the dinner in 2 hours. We didn't get our request for the birthday plate (so so dissapointing, it was a special dinner for us but it seemed the staff didn't really care). When we asked for the bill the discount for SPG member was not included. (what's the point of giving our SPG number when we made the booking??)
I also wondered about SPG dine and save its delicious come back promotion as per the advertisement, are we getting it???
Overall we were so surprise that the level of this service happen at the big 5 star hotel chain of Starwood.

I travel on business regularly, and have found this to be the most friendly and most efficient hotel. Great facilities make being away from home easier. The facilities and staff at the Sheraton Club are faultless and the staff always make you feel very special. The location of the hotel and the wonderful staff make this a must stay hotel when in Sydney

Everything about this hotel was great and certainly met my expectations until I checked out. I went down to the lobby at about 6am on June 27 to check myself out of the hotel since the Club Lounge did not open until 7am.
There were 2 associates manning the front desk at the time. One of them happened to be at the SPG Elite Counter so I walked right up to the counter to let him know that I would like to check out. However, he rather tersely asked me to wait in line. That would have been perfectly understandable had there been only one associate at the front desk but there were two counters serving guests and one of them was certainly at the Elite counter.
So my question then is, why have an SPG Elite counter when you do not deliver such benefits to your Elite members? That is just inconsistent delivery of Elite member benefits and not what I'd expect from SPG. Finally, the way that your associate responded could have been a bit more polite and less condescending.

Firstly, reservation staff were tough and offered no reduction but assured me of a city view room. They were cold and almost rude, I booked the room a month or so ago.
On arrival staff although polite, were pleased to see we would carry our own bags.
Allocated a "city view room" 1136. The room had no view and it was possible for the people in the adjacent building to look into the room, it would not have been 5 metres to the adjacent windows. It was not a city view room, it was a prison cell room. Glass on the table top was greasy, wall paper in bathroom peeling.
The Terrace Bar outside area was filthy, full ashtrays, dusty, un-serviced.
I work for one of the 75 largest privately held companies in the USA and am their Australian agent. I had a person from that company, he was in 1134. His room was similar, I was extremely embarrassed.
In actual fact the claims of the hotel being five star are deceptive. I will not stay with you again.
Also, I know that another person from the USA stayed with you two years ago, booked a "city view" and copped the same. She sits on the board of several top 100 companies.
I am sorry to need to communicate such.

i have heard from my friend about this hotel, she told me that sheraton on the park is one of the best hotel in Sydney. Then I come with my family , we stay for a week and yes it's a nice hotel, perfect location, excellent breakfast, and they gave me all benefits for SPG member. Surely I will come back to this hotel in the future.
