The staff at the hotel were exceptional. We had a minor emergency in the room of a family member and the front desk and maintenance staff were very responsive. The problem was solved quickly. Even the bell/valet staff went beyond our expectations. The facilities and location were great as well.

My son was married and had the reception at the convention center this weekend. I reserved 4 rooms: 1 for me and my husband, 1 for my 2 other sons, 1 for my sister and one for my parents.
My parents got to their room, the air was not working so they moved to a different room. The key card was not working well to open the door, they had maintenance come look at it, determined that the lock was broke. When my parents went back to the room at 11pm the lock was still broke when the issue was discovered at 5pm. So they had to wait 20-30 minutes for someone to get them into their room.
I got an email at midnight 7/17 stating that my 17 year old sons account was overdrawn. I had my credit card on file for their room already (had the personal read the notes) instead they accepted a debit card from a 17 year old! So I called right away and asked them to get his card off file. Yes, maam, I will. On Sunday 7/19, still holding money on his account and mine also...now it is 7/21 and still holding money on both accounts!!! Not acceptable!
I had bariatric surgery on June 3rd. I have a card from my surgeon that states that I should be allowed children's price do to the fact I can only eat 3 oz of food at a meal. I showed it to our server and he asked the manager if I could pay kids buffet price and he said, "NO". Guess what, I didn't eat with my 16 family members that were eating! Rediculous.
The only thing that was the saving grace in this whole thing was that the wedding was a success at the convention center. Thank you to the wedding coordinators!

My first time in Kansas and at Naka-Kon, tho I didn't get the room I had original booked, I was super glad with the hostility they gave me by offering something else and free Wifi.
The free beverage and snack while waiting in line was superb, I traveled from a looong way LOL (stayed at friends in KS)
I cant wait to return in 2016!

I've stayed at the Sheraton in Overland Park countless times for business over the last 13+ years. It is ALWAYS my preferred hotel, and always a great place to stay. The Staff is very friendly and attentive and the property is very well maintained.

I travel to the area twice a year on business and the hotel is great. From Jamie and the others at the valet to the desk staff and everyone else, they make you feel appreciated. I may not stay at Sheraton Hotels often, but never stay anywhere else in Overland Park.

I was in town for business and stayed at this hotel for two nights. The staff was very polite and gracious. The room was very clean, and the bed extremely comfortable! The hotel restaurant has a variety of items to choose from, and the breakfast (which was included in my rate) was delicious! I would recommend staying at this hotel.

I have stayed at this hotel several times, and as always, it was up to my expectations. It is an ideal property for meetings and conferences as well as having a full range of amenities post business. This hotel recognizes Starwood members through upgrades and other benefits. The club lounge is always well run at breakfast and in the evening with fresh food. I was impressed with the variety of offerings over my numerous stays. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a location for any type of stay, but the business traveler will definitely enjoy.

The hotel is bright and rooms are nice but our experience in the hotel restaurant was a total failure.
