I was pleasantly surprised by the newness and luxury of the hotel. They charge for everything though, including a very confusing bottled water in the room policy. A bottle of water is in the bathroom with a tag that says "complimentary." Two exact same bottles are on the table next to the bed with a tag identical to the one in the bathroom except that this one says $1. We saw the one in the bathroom and assumed they were all complimentary. We got charged $1. I mentioned it at checkout but it wasn't worth an argument for $1. What's to stop you from simply moving the one from the bathroom to the tabletop to replace the one used? Oh well, other than that, very beautiful hotel!

Rated 3 out of 5 Thin Walls
Staff was excellent, but the walls are way too thin. I got a noice complaint and we were not talking above a standard voice. I heard the room next to me like they were in the room with us. I upgraded to a suite and was told to move into the bedroom so our conversation would not disturb the next room. Why did I pay for a suite if I had to be in the bedroom?????

Rated 5 out of 5 Hotel Staff was pleasant and accomadating
We had a group of 9 ladies enjoying a retreat at the OP Sheraton. The staff was so pleasant and accomadated all our needs with a smile. The facility was fantastic and we all enjoyed a different experience from the fitness center to the pool and hot tubs to the very comfortable hospitality suite and clean rooms to the delicious resturant. Can't wait to come back!

Rated 3 out of 5 Nice but uncomfortable
The hotel is in a great location, the staff was very friendly and the hotel decor was nice. However, it's missing a comfortable bed and bedding. The sheets felt like plastic and the mattress was too hard. For that reason, this hotel would not be my first choice when staying in the Overland Park area.

I had to switch rooms twice. First I was right by the stariwell where the door slammes and shaked my room everytime someone goes through. Then I asked to be move bc I couldnt sleep. I was then placed at the other end of the hall in the exact same situation so I asked to be moved again and finally to a middle room. Then I tried to access the wireless internet and would NOT work! It kept asking me to refresh then the next morning I had 3 wireless charges. Luckily they removed the charges for me but gave no compensation for the room.

Excellent for business. Unfortunately they did not recognize my platinum status with an upgrade or a room on a high floor. They gave me a room right next to the elevator on the 9th floor?

The Sheraton facilities were excellent from the hotel room to the conference and meeting facilities. The staff was outstanding, always polite, helpful and centered on making your stay a top-notch experience. The parking was somewhat challenging at times and the food and beverage costs were higher than expected. But the food and beverage service and food quality was excellent.. Sheraton is doing it right in Overland Park Kansas.

I enjoyed my stay at your hotel. Your staff was outstanding with hospitality and always had a smile on their face. Also the food we were served was above and beyond what I expected. Very delicious! I especially enjoyed the fajitas.
