Rated 3 out of 5 by Bartenders and Waitresses I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights- the Bartenders /Bar Waitresses are the only downside to my hotel stay. The 2 short brunettes working the bar are miserable- they were rude to everyone is our group and seemed annoyed to be serving anyone. The younger of the 2 (I'm sorry I don't have their names) washed glasses in front of us for 10 min before offering us a drink or menu. She also snapped at me when I asked her if she was our 'waitress'- she said 'NO, I'm your bartender'- with attitude of course. This can't be the first time you are hearing poor reviews about these girls. (The very tall Brunette was nice - she just seemed overwhelmed at times). May 9, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Think again if you are allergic to animals This hotel allows animals in the rooms. I have allergies and asthma and nowhere on the webpage was this mentioned. I asked at the front desk about their policy and was told "we love having animals" . When I mentioned allergies and asthma I was informed it was up to me to mention it ahead of time and the carpet would be steam cleaned before I arrived. So--why is this on me? Why not: 1. put the information on the hotel registration information? 2. have rooms that have never had pets so there is no issues for allergy related problems? 3. steam clean the carpets after a pet owner has checked out?--don't wait for a special request. I got fooled this time, next time I will be going to a hotel that discourages or does not allow pets. May 12, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Ordinary guest The room was clean roomy quiet and very nice. However, I logged on my phone to your WI FI (it is a small screen, true) and I never saw any charges listed. I had free 3G service the entire time. I would have never ordered WIFI, I thought it was free. I'm very disappointed that you'd nickel and dime me. And 2 charges no less. Apparently the first time I logged in was not enough you needed to get me a second time. I'm extremely upset. I DO NOT like surprises. When I make a conscious decision to pay for something, I don't mind. But this was robbery!! May 13, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by A Great Stay Travelling with an 8 year old. We booked the Sheraton Overland Park specifically for the indoor pool. What we didn't expect was how many other kids ours would befriend! The whole experience was wonderful. All the amenities were sublime, and the staff was outstanding. The hotel was the highlight of our stay in Overland Park, KS. Our only wish would have been for a small refrigerator in the room. We bought a small milk and fruit bowl at the cafe downstairs, would have liked to have kept it chilled. May 6, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Very comfortable beds Room was reserved early; however, the type of room that was booked at reservation time, was not available at check in. The location is great for business/ convention area of KC;however, the hotel location is on the top of a hill and in the center of a very strong wind current, which makes it difficult to manipulate the doors to the property. Hotel is understaffed. Called to the front desk in the morning, waited more than 200 rings before somebody answered. May 5, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Hotel appearance is deceiving Although the accommodations were lovely, the hotel was crowded and noisy. We were on the 19th (club) floor and yet were kept up by children running around late. Only to be woken again by these same families as the left for some event at 6:15 on a Saturday morning! Biggest problem was the lack of sound proofing of rooms and doors. We will not pick this location again for a relaxing weekend. May 6, 2013
