Terrific place to explore the town. Walk anywhere in minutes. Very nice rooms and breakfast. Get a snack in the bar.

Lisa provided a really exceptional customer service, paid high attention to details e.g. my departure requirements, taxi booking, breakfast...etc
everything was well prepared as per my expectation and I enjoyed my stay :)

The Sheraton Carlton is located quiet in a side street near the main train station. The service desk staff (with only very little exceptions) is extremely friendly and very helpful. They get creative when it comes to out fo order requests and are very helpful.
The room decor is rather new and well maintained. My room was looking out to a street, but the windows were sound proff enough to not notice any noise from the outside. Bed quality was good, even though the upgrade I got left me with two single beds instead of a king size I always prefer.
The breakfast was compact from the setup, but had everything I was looking for and more. Eggstation did a good job, even brought the prepared dishes to the table including any extra requests.
Platinum recognition was good (upgrade, bf amenity).
The equipment in the gym are well maintained, unfortunately there are only few options available, and you can often find everything is already in use and you have to return back to the room without any exercise.
Some minor issue: minibar never got refilled even after mentioning the issue.
Overall, can only recommend this hotel.

Centrally located. Close to central station and old town. Rooms are comfortable even so still no Sheraton sweet sleeper beds and the blanket are all made for single beds. Nice sauna/gym on the top floor. However wifi was most time of the stay not available and hotel staff was not committed to solve the issue. very arrogant staff.

First impression was excellent, with a friendly welcome from reception staff, added to by the personal attention and greeting from the Executive Assistant Manager who we had previously received emails from with answers to queries. The decor of the lobby is warm and inviting. The room is spacious and luxuriously appointed with highest quality bathroom including the best in plumbing accessories and marble finishes. A comfortable bath and fluffy bath towels. Simply superior. Staff in the Sheraton Carlton Nürnberg restaurant are also professional and attentive and the food excellent. Saturday evening buffet superb. We will certainly visit here again, from our home in Switzerland.

There are few criteria which this hotel fulfils 5 start hotel requirements, especially in terms of their services.
The building is good and is very conveniently located. The staff at the spa was attentive.
The staff is not prepared/willing to help you with your personal requirements in general. For example,
-That staff (or concierge) gives you the wrong advices, such as suggesting places on the day those places are closed. Even if they the ones who are passing the information and organizing the taxis.
-The staff was requested to pass dietary requirements to the kitchen staff by email. First, there was no response. Second there was insufficient communication with the kitchen staff. The guest discovered that not only there was no preparation for their breakfast in the morning but also the kitchen staff blames the reception staff for their lack of communication.
The guests have countless number of good experiences at other 5 star hotels in major cities and had chosen the hotel expecting similar level of services. It was disappointing experience.

This hotel has an extremely professional & friendly staff, that all go out of their way to be helpful and to make your stay as comfortable as possible. During my stay, I developed a reoccurring leg injury that prevented me from walking, The hotel staff did all they could to help. The Assistant Front Office Manager (Dirk) did an exceptional job in helping me conduct business from my room, making me feel comfortable, and in arranging wheel chair service for me from the hotel to the airport. I would most certainly recommend this hotel as it located just outside the historic Old Town, and 1 block from the train station. - very convenient. The restaurant offers a wonderful breakfast, and the chef if quite willing to prepare anything special you may desire.
