Rated 4 out of 5 by Silverfox1 End of busy year reward
Had a busy year and rewarded myself with no fuss, easy few days break. This filled the bill 100 percent. If I had one thing to improve it would be the cost of in house everything. If the staff are getting paid local wages, or near to, I would expect prices for food ,drink etc. to be a lot more aligned to these things. Staff were outstanding and promoted the Sheraton name very well, I therefore feel well and truly ripped off for myself and the staff working there. ( I have no connection with staff ). We had poor weather but still found plenty of interesting things to do in the province. Overall, a good time and would return.

Excellent and welcoming staff that aims to please! My son celebrated his birthday at the hotel and staff took great efforts to surprise him with cake, balloons and a towel elephant.
One of the pools is incredibly kid-friendly and safe for a variety of ages because of water depths from .4 meters to 1.4 meters, so our 2, 6 and 12 year olds could play close to each while we kept an eye on all easily.
I would have appreciated more "fun at the beach" as of the late afternoon with lights and music possibly. I would have also liked higher quality lunch/dinner options, more similar to the Sheraton resorts in hua hin and pattaya.

Stayed for 3d/2n. Rooms were awesome as we checked in two different room i.e. the deluxe club and premier club room which was twice bigger with jacuzzi. So beautiful room, spacious and clean!
The only thing we were uncomfortable as the food mostly non halal food. Pls. try to improve this as at Krabi halal raw materials are easy to get.
However we really enjoy our stay and will come back soon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Baitong First time in Sheraton Krabi
This is the first time I stayed at Sheraton Krabi. All in all, service & food are in the standard except for Sheraton member club's room. Plenty of food & snacks were provided but the amount & variety are not much compared to other hotels. Room is quite small & room making wasn't clean

Everything is was going well but then this one staff at the club lounge decided to ruin everything. She was extremely rude and inefficient. This is the only reason, I am giving it an average overall rating. At least was expecting the club lounge to be nice. I think I read another guest complaining on trip advisor about this staff. Not sure if its same or not. On simply asking for a tea, she reacted rudely, why dont i go and get it myself? During breakfast, asked for glass for juice, since there werent any. She responded what do i need a glass for? So was just trying to avoid her.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Luis84 Worst of our visit to Thailand
I was hoping a lot more for a hotel of this price. Our room was almost hidden in the basement. No free internet access in the room, and in the lobby, only a few places to be seated. The shuttle to Ao Nang was not free.
In general terms, serious lack of organization.
Compare to the rest of the hotels we have been in Thailand, a complete disaster.

Rated 3 out of 5 by LJBell Fix the wifi please
The overal resort is fabulous due to the large private beach and spacious pool. There were two inconveniences which put a little dent in our experience. 1) we had a tour scheduled to leave at 8AM, yet the club breakfast was not available to be served until 8AM, therefore we had to go on the tour without breakfast. #2) wifi in the room was not working and was not relaiable. Otherwise I recommend the resort. Also, the bed was not a sweet sleeper bed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Thankful20 Stunning white sandy beaches with excellent staff services
We are very satisfy with the management staff (Mike) resolve our room concern issues. Excellent staff services only minority group at Mangosteen restaurant especially for the morning breakfast, due to overwhelming arrival of the guests, guests were not seated timely (waited for few seconds), tables were not set up on time. But this is the downsite of the delegation of task. Besides this, soft white sandy beaches with the excellent upkeep condition from management, huge green compounds to stroll with my family members. Wonderful and relaxing family gateway!

Rated 5 out of 5 by orangedude71 great get away
My wife had been working on getting just the right room for our Thailand trip and the staff at Sheraton Krabi met every one of her requests. Through a series of points and emails, upgrades, money out of pocket and i think perhaps some harassment on wifes part, we got upgraded all the way to the pool suite with an attached room for the kids. Liked our experience at the hotel so much we canceled the second part of our stay in phuket and stayed here the whole time. All the tours we booked through the tour desk did not disappoint. The breakfast was consistently good every day. The pools were great and the beach was pretty much all to ourselves. Anything not available in the hotel was available right outside the front gate. Would stay here again

Rated 4 out of 5 by Chaiwat26 Relax and enjoyable in Krabi Resort
The last week our family [spg platinum 2 persons] had stayed in Sheraton Krabi had a good experience. We got fair standard recoqnition for spg platinum. One room upgraded for Suite with plunge pool seems fantastic suite which have only 1 room in this resort. But another upgraded only Deluxe club room. The left platinum benefits you'll relax and enjoyable from 15-min complimentary massage for 2. Overall in this resort ,it feels good esp. location and spa .However we think about breakfast and club lounge benefits in this hotel should be better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Sperry8 A good hotel - far away from town
This is a solid hotel. The property is nice and it's right on the beach. It's in a somewhat isolated area that is a 15-20 minute ride to town.
I was upgraded to a Premium Sea Facing room. It's a decent size room with nice bed and OK pillows. It is not well appointed but has a small couch and a work desk with outlets. It really could do with a refurbishment. Unfortunately while it has a closet with hangars, there are no dressers where you can put your clothes. There is a nice balcony overlooking the grounds as well.
The bathroom is an open concept bathroom, but you can close it off if you'd like. Lends more space to the room. There is a separate tub/shower and an excellent shaving mirror and hair dryer. However the lighting could be improved. The bathroom was much nicer than the room (as though it had been refurbished while the room had not).
They have beautiful large 2 pools with super comfy seating, but sadly both are kid friendly. I think they should make one adults only. They also have many beach chairs on the beach (no struggling to find a chair at his property). They also offer fluffy warm towels. They have a tennis court, volleyball court, nice gym, kayaking, muay thai classes, and a variety of restaurants. Lots to do for your holiday here.
The signage on the property is poor and the property map they give you is ridiculous. It has each building numbered - but no key to tell you what each number means! It is very hard to find your way around - and you spend quite some time going in the wrong direction for the first few days.
There are 4-5 inexpensive restaurants and a 7/11 just outside the entrance to the property in case you want some variety.
They offer a shuttle to town about 5 times per day, but charge 200 THB each way. For a hotel so far from town, I do not like when they charge for this. It feels like they nickel and dime us. Just include this in the rate - and provide the shuttle for free.
The service at this property is mixed. Everyone is super friendly and that's a big plus. However, they need more staff during peak periods. I had to wait during check out because they only had 1 woman working at 11am. At a prime checkout time like that, 1 person working is unacceptable. As well, I was made to wait to be seated almost every day at breakfast. If you want us to wait, you must hire more staff to be at the ready to seat us. I also had trouble finding staff to assist getting a taxi. Sometimes staff are at the ready, other times no one is to be found.
Finally the staff at the gym are too stern. They watch you at every turn and even made me go back to my room before using the facility as I wasn't dressed properly (apparently flip flops aren't going to cut it).
Platinum recognition at this property is excellent.
1- Upgraded to the best room available (there aren't many suites at this property, so if you want one use your SNA's).
2- Happy hour provided from 5-7pm in the club lounge or Makati restaurant on the beach. Includes hors d'oeuvre. (would prefer happy hour was 5:30-7:30, rather than so early).
3- Four bottles of free water daily.
4- Free fast Internet.
5- Free breakfast at Mangosteens restaurant or in the club lounge. The spread is decent, and includes omelet station, fresh fruits, salads, hot items, and juices.
6- A welcome treat in your room and letter.
7- Platinum checkin in the lounge.
8- A 15% discount on food at the restaurants.
This is how a property should treat Platinums. Other properties should take note.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this property. It was much further from Ao Nang than I thought however. If they can fix their staffing levels and offer a free shuttle at more convenient times, I'd give them a better rating next time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by WhiteRajah The Sheraton Krabi hit all the marks
Stayed for 4 days after driving up from KL. An excellent hotel staff were wonderful, the room made my wife drool. Would go back anytime. Only two negatives, firstly the club lounge is very limited in terms of drinks and food compared to the lounges I am used to in other chains. This meant that my wife could not eat the non halal food that seemed to make up half the food, and when I went to the club on the beach martinis I could not get a red wine, nor could I get a martini since it was not on the list of sweet cocktails.
The answer is I suspect to request a cocktail without the additional ingredients (no good for the malt whiskey drinkers).
The staff in the club lounge were wonderful and went beyond the call of duty.
My second issue was with loud guests had 3 meals ruined by a loud lady from chicago who discussed the food and the world at the top of her lungs with her children and the world. While the european children looked on in amazement.

We stay 3 nights at the hotel during 14-17 Feb 2013. The bedroom is very well designed with comfortable bed. All staffs tried to meet your need and request. Everyone is so helpful. The beach is clean with clear water, though the sand is not as white as Karon Phuket. But overall this is very nice beach I swim everyday. My daughter is happy playing in kid club. The staff in kid club is very attentive. Breakfast is also good.
Overall we love everything. It is very nice vacation we love hotel as well as Krabi.

Booked the hotel a few months ago, check in was smooth in the lounge, went for lunch in their Italian restaurant and found the food is very average so I never go there for another meal during my stay, the Magosteen restaurant which serve breakfast and international food is much more better, generally the services and staffs in the hotel is good. We got room upgrade to their standard suite thanks to Ms. Penappa, the room is big and modern, huge bath tub and my kids like it the most. Lounge serve good selection of drinks but food will be limited, staffs in the lounge is great, Ms. Saroh was very freindly and cheerful person. The pools in the hotel are big and with great sea view, beach is clean with soft sands. Kids club might need some upgrade. Generally it is a enjoyable family trip for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 Good hotel
I liked the hotel. It is in a quite sourrounding, not busy or noisy like other locations, that is why I choose it. No vendors at the beach, no vendors at the sidewalks near the hotel.
I liked the breakfast, it was very good, the coffee was exceptional, the best coffee I ever had. I'd love to hear what coffee brand they use. Staff was always friendly and helpfull.
I didn't like the bed at the hotel, the matress was too hard, I had pains while sleeping and the next days. Other guests had the same problem.

You really get awstrucken by the huge garden like atmosphere. The chirping of birds in the morning is a rare experience. The staff is very responsive & friendly. The food also is good specialy we enjoyed variety at Mangosteens Buffet dinner. The restuarant near the kids pool offered great snacks. We really loved the chicken wrap. Kids could also enjoy at the kids club and the nice beach. If you are looking for cheaper options there is enough thai and indian cuisine nearby, massage and private taxi.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Joyce2013 This hotel requires service improvements
The staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful grounds, which are well maintained. Fantastic location and beach!
It was my 50th birthday and hotel staff were asked to deliver a cake by the pool and they didn't. The cake finally arrived later that evening with much apologies for a mix-up!
Smoking should not be allowed in public areas like the pool, as children are exposed to passive smoking and I have asthma.
Staff do not understand English very well, which causes issues.
Equipment not working very well, such as the DVD, hairdryer.
Cleanliness of rooms were not very good. The shower drains are not cleaned causing water not to drain properly.
The can't seem to have fresh towels when they do the cleaning. However, they take the ones hanging up away, leaving no towels to be used until we physically have to call to get some delivered - this was a daily occurence!
Everything in the hotel is expensive. massage at 5500 baht but on the beach it's 350 baht! The hotel food is average and expensive, as compared to across the road.
Considering the location of the hotel, the night entertainment was lacking and bland!

I spent 1 week at Krabi Sheraton with my wife and 10 month old daughter in June. I also took this chance to celebrate the 4th anniversary.
As a Platinum member, we were upgraded to suite and hotel arranged welcome sparkling wine for my celebration. How amazing!
The staffs in club are very nice and they always make my daughter laugh. The facilities are also good, garden, pool, and pingpong! The food are also ok, Pai Thai (can't remember clearly), fried noodle with eggs, are delicious!

Had a wonderful stay at Sheraton krabi. All the staff were very friendly and hospitable from the security guards, to ladies at kids club.
I requested for a bday cake when booking a hotel for my husband (we holidayed at krabi to celebrate his bday) and we got the cake delivered to the room complete with candles. Despite my request to charge it to the room, the cake was free and oh soooo delicious ...
Overall, happy customer and we will be returning to krabi and to sheraton (for sure)

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kanika13 Gorgeous and Massive Hotel
I really loved staying at the Sheraton Krabi because the hotel is gorgeous and quite self-sufficient in terms of the facilities and surroundings. The beach is calm and secluded and the infinity pool is perfect.
The activity pool was a little dirty, which was quite disappointing considering it is a 5 star resort.
The hotel restaurants are really well designed, but not great in terms of the food offered. We were disappointed with the starters we ordered at Martinis as the chicken was really dry, chewy and over-cooked. The hotel staff made a small apology, but again it wasn't sufficient considering it was the Sheraton.
Also, there was a huge Indian wedding at the time of our stay, and the entire staff seemed to be busy catering to their needs. The pool was closed for a day, which was inconvenient for us.

Rated 3 out of 5 by krabi1 Sheraton Krabi experience
I like the location of the hotel. Beach and pools were excellent. My room needed an upgrade. Bathroom was not designed with the guest in mind. Example: the bathroom towel bar was too high up over the bathtub and that was the only one in the bathroom. There is no hot tub anyway. I was disappointed with the dinner buffet. All we had was Thai food and selection on entrees and dessert were very limited. For the cost, we would had preferred to eat out at a restaurant somewhere else.
