Rated 4 out of 5 by JNA1 Quiet and comfortable accommodation at the airport
This is hotel is super-convenient if you're arriving in Dusseldorf by 'plane. The property is very comfortable and surprisingly quiet.
You will sleep and eat well here.
The staff are charming and efficient. I liked the complimentary tray of beverages - thank you.
Tip number 1: There are some terrific shops in the city - those alongside the Königsallee were the source of some good-quality and unusual Christmas presents.
Tip number 2: Just leave 5 minutes to walk through the car-parking garage from the hotel reception desk and you're at the main airport check-in desk.

You can't expect an airport hotel to be as good as a downtown one, no doubts about that, but Sheraton Dusseldorf Airport leaves quite a bit to be desired. It's very conveniently situated for airport transits and isn't far away from the city centre either, but it's somewhat confusingly located when you enter the airport terminal itself, and the signs/directions could be clearer and more visible. The common rooms are spacious, but the guest rooms are quite the opposite - it's the single most cramped Sheraton I've ever stayed in. Yes, it has all the 4* facilities (for example, an excellent buffet breakfast) and there's nothing to really complain about, but it manages to live up to Sheraton standards just barely, without a single added extra, which doesn't justify the 100€+ range of the rooms. Some of the chain's own properties, even airport ones, go the extra mile, so it's difficult to pardon this fact. To sum up, it's a decent choice for transit passengers in dire need of a rest, but for all other purposes, even loyal SPG members should look elsewhere, as there are more convenient options in the city itself at a better value.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Sumatra POOR..!
Staff most friendly and very helpful. Nice (little small) room. The room wasn't properly clean and smelled badly as if someone has smoked in the room just before I checked in. WIFI did not work at all...not even after the reception gave me another code. Airco/heating system didn't work; it was rather cold in the room.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jimbosma Great location walk to airport.
II stayed their one night because I had a 6 am flight. It was awesome to just be able to walk 100 yards to the airport terminal. Upon check in I was upgraded to an executive room. The room was small and the bed was only a double, I am use to a queen but cozy. I did go into the city center from the hotel it was easy. I took the sky train to Dusseldorf train station then a tram to city center. Then back to airport hotel a short ride I say under 20 minutes.
I would stay their again

Rated 4 out of 5 by Alchemist608 Good location at airport
Hotel is convenient, although signage in airport directing one to hotel is poor. Great staff, room was comfortable and clean. Also, no electrical outlet at desk for computer. Had to unplug desk lamp to charge computer.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Jonno71 Business hotel never!
Unusually I had 3 nights in this airport hotel. For a business hotel the WiFi solution is an expensive embarrassment, the music system comes on too loud and too early in the morning to compete with the noise of the aircraft, the air con is inconsistent with bedrooms for myself and colleagues were too warm, the gym is a joke. This hotel should only be used when logistics dictates, and the meeting rooms were fine.
