Rated 5 out of 5 by Vincos Exactly What an Airport Hotel Should Be
The best thing about any "airport" hotel is that it is actually in the airport...no shuttles, no calls for pick-up...and that is the case with this property. Just steps from the terminals but with a very unique setting: on the top of the parking facility. I was dubious but it is really quite lovely with views all around of the surrounding penthouse garden.
As a facility, it is a run-of-the mill chain hotel but that is all I need/expect at the airport. I rated SPG recognition as average simply because the rooms are all alike and there is no Sheraton Cub but they did make the lovely gesture of sending fresh fruit and a superb buffet breakfast was available on a complimentary basis. This is in addition to the Welcome Amenity.
Despite being adjacent to the runway, there was absolutely no noise and the room had a door opening directly on to the beautiful garden.
Staff was courteous and pleasant to a fault.
On premises there is a train station with frequent links to Dusseldorf and Cologne.

I had problems with the internet when I was there, which was unfortunate because I needed it for work. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful and spoke excellent English.

Auffällig ist das Mobiliar aus echtem Holz. Hotelstil, aber keine billigen Holzimitate. Sehr wohltuend. Vielen Dank für das zusätzliche Platingeschäft. Leider verdirbt der grottenschlechte Frühstückskaffee alles: endlos lange in der Thermoskanne, verbrannt und einfach nur schlecht. Die große Kaffeemaschine durchlief gerade das Reinigungsprogramm und das Personal eher unaufmerksam in Bezug auf alleine reisende Geschäftsfrauen.

Gutes Hotel, Super Lage. Absolut ok für eine Übernachtung vor and nach dem Flug.
Schade das es kein Wifi im Restaurant/Frühstücksbereich gibt.

You might find airport-hotels with larger rooms or better views - but this hotel offers two big advantages:
- Very clean rooms
- Very friendly service
So whenever I have a stopover in Dusseldorf - this is the perfect location - great spot for breakfast and dinner - walking distance to Dusseldorf Airport - always a please coming back to the friendly people of this great hotel
