As a platinum member of starwood I arrived at the hotel expecting the normal levels of service and appreciation. My expectations were quickly dispursed on my request to change a American Express travelers cheque. This was refused and suggested I look for someone in the street who would change this International currency. I then attempted to change English pounds only to be told one of my twenties had a slight fray and was therefore unchangeable! Having arrived for a weekend and no other method of cashing money I find myself restricted and unable to enjoy my weekend. If Starwood wish to impose such stritch rule a on their regular customers at least have the good manners to publish them or email regular guests who have booked in hotels with these antiquated rules.

We have just stayed at your hotel for our holiday and spent a lot of time in the Club lounge. We would like to commend the staff who were serving us in the lounge during our stay who had a smile on their face at all times and attended to our every need. In particular, we would like to thank one staff, Mai, who was one of the most genuine and most pleasant staff that we have come across when staying with your group. We hope to be able to return for another stay at your hotel and would like to thank the staff in the club lounge for making our stay such an enjoyable one.

I had 2 excellent stays here. The room is super spacious, bed extremely comfortable, even though my 7 months old baby also enjoyed the bed :-). Food are excellent for both breakfast and dinner.
Staffs are helpful and polite. Whatever you need for a stay, they are there. I love the water system in the bath room. Just so much enjoyed it.
A small suggestion, hotel maybe should provide the comb in the room, not upon request. I think every one needs a comb.
Everything was pleasure until check out. But the taxi driver had spoiled our last minute til flight.

This is by far the best fitness center I have experienced that was located within the confines of the hotel. Serious weight lifters are often disappointed when the average hotel has a bow flex and a couple of cardio machines at best. The Sheraton had a good selection of dumbells, lifestyle machines, and even an adjustable flat bench complete with an Olympic barbell, and plenty of weights, it also has a great cable machine. Rounding out your experience is an option to purchase a protein shake afterwards. Outstanding for a short stay at a hotel.

Thanks to the team at Sheraton Saigon Hotel & Towers for providing me with another outstanding stay. It is so nice when traveling to feel welcome & see the extra effort being made by the team when dealing with guests – there are several other hotels brands I have stayed at (around the world) that could take some notes from your book !

This hotel is in a great location and within walking distance to Saigon market, Opera House,, etc. The rooms are huge and spotless. The buffet breakfast is the best in Ho Chi Minh City. The staff are attentive and courteous. The spa is also very nice. The Club Room is a pleasant oasis to relax and have a refreshing glass of Vietnamese iced-coffee when you're too tired to walk around. The evening canapes are plentiful and tasty. Overall, a wonderful experience. This is my home away from home whenever I'm in Vietnam. Highly recommended.

Hotel has all the amenities you need - nice swimming pool and gym, SPG lounge with wonderful array of foods and drinks for breakfast, tea and cocktail hour. Nice touches such as local music during the late afternoon in the lobby. Starwood recognition was great. My upgraded room was large with a huge bath. Came back for one night after a trip to Cambodia and my room was upgraded to a huge suite. Only wished I could have stayed longer. Had an early flight so I had to leave at 3:30 am - hotel packed a take away breakfast for me!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Hensley No Special SPG Treatment and WAY TOO EXPENSIVE
Upon arrival at the SPG counter for check in the system did not recognize that I was Gold, and the staff member insisted upon me being just preferred, and thus no Gold gift. Also breakfast is was too expensive at US$27/person. Decent location, and staff had some good dining recommendations. Overall, I would have expected more from a Sheraton at this price point.

This is a very handy and well kept hotel in a great location. Close to lots of good restaurants and shops. There is a nice pool and fitness facility and has a great rooftop lounge and restaurant.

the Sheraton Saigon and Towers is a beautiful property with an outstanding staff who help the guests in any way they are able. the Grand towers staff went way beyond to help their guests. the Font desk check-in staff are also very friendly and highly efficient. from the young ladies who open the front doors to the managers, the exceptional staff are caring and highly proficient at their tasks. the Sheraton Saigon and Towers is one of the best Starwood properties anywhere.

We stayed at the Saigon Sheraton the last day of a trip to Vietnam and Cambodia. It is a large beautiful hotel with all of the required amenities. Can't go wrong here.

Rated 4 out of 5 by wing Staff must follow guest choices
1) I follow hotel indication to put my towels on rack (will re-use) in order to save water.
However, the housekeeping staff changed my towels every day. It's good for hotel to be environmental conscious, but it means nothing if staff do not follow.
2) Suggest hotel to stop having 'Saigon tourist' taxi to service guests as the taxi team is thief! We had encountered 4 bad experiences. (Don't say we don't give them a chance.)They still trick people even if serving the hotel guests.

Never been here for approx 2 years but this hotel has never changed it is excellent. Staff are pleasent food and beverage are good, everything is clean. I look forward to staying there.

Sheraton has a good reputation worldwide in general. However, there are service issues with Sheraton Saigon especially in lobby, this includes the concierge - the rudest concierge I have ever met. I found the male staffs in general were not as attentive, courteous or polite, toward me anyway. This aspect which I find disappointing. As I travel extensively in SE Asia, I always find hotel staffs M or F are very friendly. Apart from that, everything else is fine.

Excellent location. All the major sights are within walking disctance. The rooms are a bit dated as are the hallways. If you are an SPG Platinum member expect to be told that the upgraded rooms are full when they are actually available. We were upgraded to a suite after insisting one was available. Staff was very gracious and the club is nice as well.

On arrival great to get an upgrade and accommodation for an extra night which I had thought I had booked but it was my error which they accommodated and that was great. Main areas of disappointment is being charged for bringing a guest into the Grand Tower Lounge which I have to say is ridiculous as their is no extra charge if your a couple and my stays at other hotels has never incurred this additional cost. Main reason for booking club privileges is so as you can invite clients for a meeting and sometimes what a better way than over a breakfast or evening Horse d'oeuvre s. in addition for an upmarket club suite the room had an issue with small bugs which even after being sprayed reappeared a day later. In addition the waiters in the Grand Tower Lounge are very in your space and tend to watch each and every movement making the experience very uncomfortable.

I left an Apple charge cable in the room. I hope it can be retrieved and I can pick it up at my next visit.
Also, the suite should have a DVD Player as a standard equipment.

I've stayed at a lot of Sheratons around the world, this is one of the very best. The staff is excellent...very kind and helpful. The Executive Club is great. It's extemely comfortable with great food and drinks.The pool and Gym are perfect.. I have stayed at the hotel on three separate occassions. I will be visiting Saigon often in the future. And am happy to have found a great home away from home. Thank you very much.

This is a great hotel for a host of reasons: it has great food, services, pool/gym facilities and a good vibe. The only thing keeping it from being an exceptional hotel is the constant stench of cigarette smoke in the lobby and many of the common areas. Perhaps this is a common issue in Vietnam, but the cigarette smoke in the lobby is atrocious. It smells terrible and made my eyes burn even after just a few minutes.

Stayed in the Towers section, the food in the lounge was amazing for an afternoon snack...could have eaten early dinner for free! Buffet Breakfast the best range of my 4 week trip through Asia. Struggling to find anything to complain about.....the elevators took too long to get to my 17th floor room?!?
Excellent location right on Dong Khoi.
Would definitely stay again and recommend to my most discerning friends

I stayed here for three nights for New Year, And also two other hotels in the same price range and area.
Sheraton has larger room, both standing and a bath tube while the other has only one type. I like that Sheraton has a girl in traditional dress open the lobby door instead of three to four guys cluster together at the lobby door. Front desk service is excellent, Sheraton is in the mid range, not as new as some but newer than some. But it has the tall view that some new hotels can't offer.
I would stay at Sheraton again for the view, lobby lively atmosphere, traditional music in the evening, large room and the overall service from the staff.
Side note: Sheraton bathroom door is a Japanese style sliding door, which can be counter-intuitive. On my first arrival, my wife push it open instead of slide it and the wood board on top falls off and left a bruise on her upper arm.

I stayed in this hotel twice and i can say that their service is exceptional. I took the airport pickup and upon arrival, they escorted me directly to my room already prepared (and upgraded)!
The lounge is one of the best! It had really great food!
Also, i left my phone when i left and the Manager was able to secure it and give it to my co-worker after 1 week.
Great location, service! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

very nice experience in terms of service, accomodation and SPG recognition. the hotel runs a main and a towers section like sheraton hongkong. however, we stayed in the main building and saved the 70$ upgrade to towers which was fine. excellent club lounge and good room conditions - so nothing to miss.
staff was very attentive and the best guest treatment i have experienced was in vietnam. thumbs up!
